It is located at one end of the main street in a quiet area a few meters from all amenities (banks, bars, restaurants, post office, supermarkets, etc.) Less than a 10-minute drive away you have many places of interest such as the natural pools of La Maceta, El Charco Azul, Hotel Punta Grande or the Ecomuseo de Guinea where the Giant Lizard of El Hierro is located. The cottage has a small terrace overlooking the ocean.

In the village you can do several hiking trails as well as paragliding as it has a launch point. A few minutes by car is the Pozo de la Salud Spa. Several supermarkets that you can find in Frontera and also a small shop in the village

Very nice accommodation in a desired quiet natural location on the island, outside the area of the trade clouds, therefore a lot of sun. Equipment very good with everything you need and always easily and quickly accessible (exchange of the gas bottle for the stove). Highly recommended for nature lovers and all those who like to vacation outside of tourist hotspots (Tenerife, Gran Canaria). If you are also interested in geology and volcanoes, El Hierro is the place to be. Clear recommendation, I'd love to come back.

Las Playas is located on the very quiet east coast - if you are looking for that, you are in the right place in this house, and we loved it! The photos in the description can reflect the rooms and the functional furnishings, but not the charm of this house, the terrace and the garden - and also not the fantastic sunrises, the spectacular starry sky and the permanent sound of the sea, which is only supplemented by a few goat calls or the occasional nightly song of the storm petrel. This house, the location and the views are a dream.

We were in the Casita for the second time, That basically says it all... The location is very central to exploring the island and the casita is equipped with everything you need. For us as barbecue fans, the typical Canarian barbecue on the terrace is also an additional highlight.... happy to come back and many thanks to Benjamin.

"El Valle" Country House

Our second stay with our host Carlos this time in the adjoining house to the one we stayed last year. Very comfortable one bedroom self contained in a large lounge kitchen diner. Private exterior eating and sun balcony though the weather this January was cold and wet. But good location close to La Frontera and shops and cafes. Access is up a steep country road with adequate parking for three cars. This is our second vacation in this property and we like so much we plan to return in 2026.

A covered terrace features a modern seating arrangement, including two chairs and a low table. The space is accented by a stone wall and a ceiling with exposed beams. Scenic views of the surrounding landscape are visible in the distance.

We spent a few days on the island of El Hierro and the location of Adriana's house is very good to get around the island or to stay quiet by the coves and surroundings, as well as practical and beautiful views while having breakfast!!!
