Parks & Nature

Awesome family beach, dog beach, surfer beach, and swimming beach. It is quieter and less crowded than many other beaches around Cape Town and has some awesome hikes and views from the road before driving down into Llandudno.

Rocky bay with plenty of seating on the big boulders. Awesome swimming in the bay, beautiful shells to pick up, great for sunsets (sundowners) on the rocks, and quiet during the week days. A favorite among locals!

Clifton 2nd is in my opinion the nicest of the Clifton beaches. 4th beach is great for swimming and is th biggest most crowded spot, while 2nd beach is more secluded, quiet, if you're lucky you will catch the flow arts and fire dancers there a few evenings a month which is BRILLIANT! Head there in the afternoon, stay with a picnic and drinks for dinner and watch the fire dancers play late into the night... (check out FireTribe on facebook to see when their events are held in parks and beaches around Cape Town).

Sightseeing

A seriously scenic and popular walk/run/jog route along the sea wall. With parks and kids playgrounds along the way, plenty of people walk their dogs there, and do their daily exercise or go for social walks and picnics. (close to the V&A Waterfront too).
