Transportation
A car is nice but if not can Uber and bike everywhere. Grocery store is about 1 mile away and Kierland and Scottsdale Quarter are just pass that

Plenty of golf courses nearby, make reservations during peak times
Don't miss
Hiking
A ton of great hiking nearby. Some of my favorites are Pinnacle Peak, Toms Thumb and Piestawa peak. Make sure to bring more water than you think and go early in the morning
