Traveler advice

Getting around

Golf cart

The best way to get around the island is by golf cart. There are many golf cart rentals in town. We recommend Rock's Rentals. Nellie can help you reserve one. Visit Secret Beach. It one of the most beautiful beaches in Belize and is in our backyard. Its only a fifteen minutes ride on golf cart from Las Amapolas. Here the water is crystal clear and shallow. Here you will also find a number of restaurants and bars. Try Sunset Place Bar and Grill. If you like wildlife visit the iguana park in town by the lagoon. They have over a hundred colorful iguanas roaming the park.
Don't miss

A visit to town.

San Pedro Town, is colorful and charming. A little busy sometimes but a nice place to meet the locals. Countless of restaurants, cafes and bars. Get your souvenirs in town. A trip on the glass bottom boat to Hol Chan Marine Reserve and Shark Ray Alley. Fun for the whole family.
What to pack

T-shirts, shorts and flip flops.

You are on an island. Lifestyle is free and easy.

Day Tour/Trips

You may want to book some tours/trips while on the island. See my brother, Captain Robby, he and his family live in the property. He and his sons can take you fishing, snorkeling, and can arrange a diving trip too. Beach picnics can also be arranged.
