Conveniently Close

A few things useful to know that are close by
I have eaten here once or twice and loved it but the main reason I am mentioning it is that our guests often rave about this restaurant. Great food and a fabulous wine list I am often told and the bonus is that is a one minute walk!

This is a large shopping centre with everything that you might need. You can walk but there is also a large car park and taxi's around. I wouldn't recommend walking when it is dark.

If you need a few supplies and don't want to go to a large shopping centre then go to Palmyra Junction. There is free parking. The Woolworths is well stocked. There are also cafes, a bakery, a butcher and gift shops at the same centre.

Not actually the most Southern tip of Africa but almost! Can get very windy here, lovely beaches if you want to explore. Be careful of the baboons. They have become use to humans and will try and steel food.

A must see. This toll road is dramatic with lovely views. It joins Noodhoek and Hout Bay.

Food scene

In Cape Town you are spoilt for choice, to be honest. From markets to bistros to top restaurants you can find it all. Enjoy
There are two restaurants here - Simons and Jonkershuis and there is also wine tasting. I prefer Jonkershuis because you can still outside under the oaks and enjoy the view of False Bay. You can walk in the vineyards here.
