From that time until today the edifice has gone through many changes including the last reconstruction and the opening on February 10th 2017. Various cultural events take place in Rector´s Palace - museums expositions, concert halls, halls for temporary exhibitions, video gallery and multimedia theater. In the newly opened exhibition spaces are presented the collections of four departments of the National Museum in Zadar. On the first floor of the palace there is an continuous exhibition "Six Salon Story" with six historic environments that speak about people in Zadar and their time.
