Although it’s often crowded, it’s worth visiting. That mysterious place has been completely crafted rather recently, and was a showcase of the opulence of Portugal. The gardens are particularly nice and enjoyable when it’s hot. Being on some good shoes, it’s steep!

Windy, and wild. That is probably what most of the Portuguese coast was like a few hundred years ago. Very pretty and less busy than the beaches in cascais-estoril.

From 12h30 until the evening, that lively beach club offers beach beds, cocktails, and tasty food and snacks. Get there early to secure a spot in the shade! Costa da caparica offer nice beaches, don’t get disappointed by the area leading there. Careful with the bridge, traffic can be heavy from time to time. Check Waze in advance!
