About a 5 minute drive from the house is Hash Kitchen, a great place for brunch if you're up for more a scene with a DJ. Not dog friendly. Has a stellar Build Your Own Bloody Mary bar, and our fave food items are the Huevos Rancheros Hash and the Hangover Hash. Warning: there will be a wait to get seated!

Outdoor Activities
This is probably the most famous hike in Arizona. Great views of Arcadia and Scottsdale. This is a hike for at least somewhat experienced hikers, as the trails (there are two options) are somewhat difficult. The Echo Canyon side is steeper and Cholla is longer. Dogs are not allowed and we do NOT recommend hiking in the summer months!

If you want to spend a whole day on the water, head to Salt River Tubing, rent a tube, bring some food and drinks, and spend the day relaxing down the river! Don't forget your sunscreen! And check the website to make sure they're open while you're in town. Count on this being a full day. Between driving, arriving, tubing, and recovering from the sun and water, this will be all you want to do for the day. But it's a blast!
