The village is located in the heart of the Frisian lake area, bustling with activity in the summer and has a great middle class. The flower garden(butterfly garden)of the cottage offers a lot of privacy and is located right under the corn mill ,t Lam. Come here relaxed with your sweetheart, away from the hustle and bustle, you will find peace and quiet here and you will wake up to the girls, blackbirds and sparrows.(sometimes Sunday of the church bells). Delicious 6 person holiday home in the meadows and on the open water in the heart of the Frisian lakes. Not suitable for groups of young people. Our house is located at an unique location, between the meadows and right on the open water. Here you have the holiday feeling right away! From the beautiful garden you have a wide view, you can sit blissfully in the sun on one of the two terraces on the water, swim in front of the door and from the private jetty (7.5 m) you can sail up the Frisian lakes in no time.

Our house on de Koggeplaet in Elahuizen is really right on de Fluessen and by the harbor. From the terrace, unobstructed views over the lake. Also there is a terrace on the harbor and in the garden! Elahuizen is located in the middle of the water sports area of Friesland. A quiet place for sailing, cycling, hiking or skating! The forest and a golf course in Gaasterland are also nearby! In the months of July and August we only use Friday as arrival and departure day.
