In addition, there are quite a few downhill ski slopes and cross-country skiing trails available in winter. The popular destinations Wasserkuppe and Milseburg can be reached in about 10 minutes by car. At 950 m, the water dome is the highest mountain in Hesse and offers an extensive range of leisure activities for the whole family (skiing, sailing and paragliding, summer toboggan run, climbing forest, etc.).

Idyllic farm directly on the Fulda

Our farm is located in the middle of the Rhön Biophere Reserve in the quiet outskirts of Sandberg on a 7,000 square meter property. The Fulda flows directly through our farm and invites children to splash around and play. In 1998 the former farm was completely renovated, with great attention to detail. In the garden you will find sun loungers, hammocks, a barbecue area as well as a frog pond and a children's play area with swing and stilts house, so there is enough space to rest and unwind.

Our apartment is quietly and idyllically located 2 km from Oberbach. A supermarket is 4 km away in Wildflecken, the information centre in Oberbach with a nice cafe and a pizzaria for your physical well-being. Hiking trails go directly from us to the beautiful Kreuzberg or to the nearby hiking huts. Mountain bikers are also welcome. Those who love peace and nature are in very good hands with us. Beautiful living in the Rhön! Apartment on the right

Our 2 apartments can be found on the 1st floor of the main house of a former. Farmhouse in Rengersfeld, a small District of Gersfeld. It is green and quiet with us. The apartments are as good as new and lovingly furnished. Both apartments share a large balcony separated by green plants. We run a small organic restaurant, the "Dorfstube Rengersfeld" , which is only open on weekends (until max 11pm). Our guests are quiet enjoyers.
