What a great little place! Very cozy with everything you need. Nicely off the beaten path, but close enough to Sturbridge, Brimfield, and lots of scenic drives. Timothy met us and was great at communicating. Highly recommended!!!

For anyone that is traveling (I was for work) West Brookfield is a very nice country setting. This place was awesome and very peaceful!

I highly recommend this property! The apartment is sparkling clean, great use of space and Timothy could not be more accommodating. We felt totally at ease and comfortable. Photos don’t do it justice. This was the first time I’ve walked into an Airbnb and have been surprised in a good way very clean and very cute. Plus with free good coffee you can never go wrong!

The home is very spacious, has a great view of the lake, and is quite clean. My party of 4 middle-aged guys had plenty of room with some to spare. Nice and quiet neighborhood. We had a very pleasant stay.

The pictures can’t fully capture how special Scott’s place is. Waking up to their view was magical and we were fortunate to have good weather to sit outside for some of the time. The inside area was clean and very comfortable. There are steps leading down to the guest space, but it is lighted at night. Scott and Lisa are great hosts, and Lisa even made an extra dessert to share with us one night. We wish we could have stayed longer!

The apartment on Lake Alum is spacious and clean. The view of the lake is fantastic and kayaks were available. We were here to visit kids and grandkids who live nearby. Close to town and we enjoyed Rapscallion brewery with our whole family who on a beautiful fall day. Highly recommend!

Thank you Scott and Lisa for a convenient and beautiful lakeside stay before my 1st PanMass Challenge bike a thon. It was close enough (<20 min drive) to the host hotel and it was a gorgeous summer night to enjoy lakeside. Glad we found you, and we’ll stay again for a weekend getaway!!

Everything is as noted in the listing. The patio is wonderful and you can have a fire in the evening and sit by the lake!

This is a sweet spot, right on a calm lake in a quiet neighborhood. Lindsee was very responsive to all my questions, flexible about check-in and in general very easy to communicate with. The kitchen was the best stocked Airbnb kitchen I've ever seen - and the open layout was wonderful.

Lindsee’s place was gorgeous - which of itself is an understatement. The house was adorable and spacious and the view from the deck was astonishing, I’m sure it’s even more pretty in the summer! We came up for one weekend to visit family; it was perfect and I’d love to come back for a longer stay!

Nicole's place was a great value. She provided extra amenities including bottled water, snacks and toiletries. Nicole was very helpful in providing directions to her home. Great location with easy access to Sturbridge and Treehouse Brewery.

My husband and I were making just a quick trip to Tree House Brewery and were thrilled to find Nicole’s place available at such short notice. She greeted us at the gate and welcomed us warmly. She has a beautiful home and property with goats and chickens and a fun little puppy. Nicole’s basement space was sparkling clean and cozy and decorated with fun circus memorabilia...she’s a professional clown. We had our own private entrance. She provided everything we could possibly need and then some. We would highly recommend staying with Nicole. It was a fun quick weekend getaway! Nicole is a warm friendly host.

Nicole gave us clear instructions to find the house. We only stayed one night but we could find everything we needed for our short stay. Thank you for the popcorn too!

Bird Hill Farm is a charming place located in a quiet part of town, but just a minute or 2 away from the main road. Our room was clean, the beds were comfy and the linens were so soft. Vance was a gracious host. Breakfast was hot and delicious. I highly recommend staying here!

Vance is the ultimate host, accommodating and thoughtful. His home is beautiful, filled with inviting spaces, eclectic art work and a yummy fresh breakfast! Don’t pass up an opportunity to stay with him! We’d love to go again and stay longer!

I feels a little bit like I’ve left home. What an incredible spot. Vance is fulfilling his dream of gathering people, creating art, and sharing this special place with others. The bedrooms do share a [massive!] bathroom, but we need had an issue overlapping with other guests. The unplugged room has its own secret sitting area that is divine. Vance will cook you an incredible breakfast, and go out of his way to make sure your needs are met. His two chihuahuas, J Lo and Jeffrey, are the BEST as well. We loved every minute of our stay here, and can’t wait for our return trip.

What a lovely home! Our room was so charming and spacious, comfortable in the summer heat (yay for the window unit!), and breakfast was delicious! Vance and the other guests were so kind and interesting- a lovely cherry on top of a beautiful stay, was to meet such welcoming folks.

Robin’s cute family home is a great stay for anyone needing an affordable and flexible place to stay in the Brimfield area. Especially great for those going to the Brimfield Antique Market, as it’s a short drive (<5 mins). Check in is flexible, bed was comfy, the sunrise and sunset is beautiful! If you’re an animal person you will enjoy your stay as she has 3 beautiful and friendly dogs, many cute chickens and geese (which live outside). Perfect for the person who enjoys a lived in friendly family home and is comfortable with what comes with co-habitating with animals.

A quiet hilltop home . The home is bursting with life as she has 2 boys and a dog , all of which are friendly and potty trained ;) . We enjoyed ourselves and it was a nice place to rest our tired bodies after walking 1 million steps at the brimfield flea market

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Robins. As described, Farmers Paradise is a sweet working farm with chickens, ducks and goats. This was SO much more fun than staying at some boring chain!!! Robin is funny and accommodating, her boys polite and helpful. The are lovely people who were friendly and welcoming, the room was spacious and clean, the beds comfortable. We were in town for the famous Brimfield Antique Fair and Farmers Paradise was practically walking distance. On the Sturbridge side of town, we had nice breakfasts and dinners only a short drive away.

It was a very welcoming stay. The bedroom was comfortable and clean. The private living room was very accommodating with a lot of things to eat and drink. The cooking area was great and very useful if we needed it. The house was also in a good location close to the main town and the airport. Overall I had a very nice stay and will visit again next time.

Pete and Jenny are a great couple. They offered us tea as soon as we walked in. Our Baby immediately fell in love with Jenny. Pete is a great woodworker with some amazing pieces in the house. We finished with a good breakfast. This is a quiet clean and large property.

The space was very spacious and clean. Due to some repairs, we entered though the garage/basement which wasn't ideal. It was also very dark leaving and returning at night, but that may also have been different if we were to have been entering through the front door. The location was great for our needs; it was close to town but also close to many parks with hiking, etc.

Great experience, beautiful location, plenty of space! We stayed the second week of October and the colors and weather were awesome. The property is surrounded by trees and perfect for getting away and relaxing. Only 5 to 10 minutes from Sturbridge. Great experience overall. Host was quick to reply to every message.

I had read the most glowing comments and reviews and in my experience, this is a must-visit place if you find yourself in the area. The location is spectacular, the apartment is spotless, the hosts will go the extra mile to ensure you are happy and you certainly feel at home in their place.

Kathleen & Mike were fantastic hosts, incredibly welcoming and accommodating. The private room/bathroom is very cozy and has easy access. The house is located on a very pretty property backing up to the pond with great views!

We’ve been to Kathleen and Mike’s twice now - it’s one of our favorite weekend getaways. They’re the nicest hosts, their scones are fantastic, and the view is phenomenal. We spent an entire day canoeing around the pond exploring all the nooks and wildlife, and there are tons of local trails with solid beautiful hikes. We will for sure be back and would highly recommend this space to anyone!

My teenaged daughter and I stayed for just about a week at Joe's and Barbara's place, and what a lovely week it was. The place was very clean, quiet and comfortable, and situated so one can wake up to a lovely view of Quacumquasit Pond. Add in Joe's and Barbara's kindness and hospitality and one has all of the makings for a great stay. I think the highest recommendation for a place is whether one would choose to stay there again... that is in fact something my daughter and I plan to do.... next week even! Five stars!

Very cozy apartment! We were looking for a place to spend the night in a hurry, so I booked it at almost 10pm at night, but it was ready for us anyway. It’s totally out of my expectation, very clean and warm, the location is easy to find as well. Definitely will choose it again when I needed!

This place is charming. Color scheme and carefully chosen furniture/decoration creates a warm welcome. We used it as a base for the Old Sturbridge Village.

Thomas’s place was so great! Super clean, beds were comfy, easy parking. The walls are thin so we can definitely hear the people above us. But overall good stay!

This space was comfortable, incredibly clean, easy to find, and close to some cute places. We especially liked the games and Lego-style blocks that were available in the house, which made it easy to entertain our child during our breaks at the house.

Farah made the entire process very easy. Beautiful little apartment style space attached to the barn on a working horse farm. It was very quiet even with all the animals around. Wonderful views of wildlife as well. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet getaway in central Massachusetts.

I've stayed at Farah's a few times now. It's really a very nice retreat from the busy city life. There's nothing you won't like.

This is a lovely 2 bed 1 bath home. We especially enjoyed sitting in the sun room. The beds were super comfortable and the place was immaculate. They had a great book with all kinds of suggestions - have to eat at the French Bistro up the road.

There are not enough superlatives that i could use to describe Dawns piece of paradise...perfect location, super clean, great fishing, delicious local food, mike and dawn are phenomenal, special touches were greatly appreciated....i will absolutely definitely be staying here again asap!!!!

Dawn is pretty much the best host on the planet. She and her husband are extremely kind people and their cottage is cozy, scenic, private, quiet, and beautiful. We loved the thoughtful touches--muffins, tea, extra blankets, beach towels, a handwritten note, a stylish candelabra in the hearth--and spent a perfect weekend here as a family. My mom embroidered, my dad marathoned This Old House, and I read for hours on the porch. Unbelievable views of the lake are wonderful, but even better was taking the kayaks out for a spin--we had the best, best time on the water! Five stars for EVERYTHING!!!

Stayed for a couple of days at the place and was amazed by everything! The cleanliness of the entire place (outside and inside) was up to perfection. The cabin is stocked with all the supplies you need for a perfect getaway. We were not able to explore the area that much but all the attractions of the place you will find in the cabin guide book. The cabin and the location on it are amazing, literally makes you want to stay there all the time. Dawn as a host I would describe as extremely polite and available. The hospitality level you will experience at this place is above and beyond! Would recommend to everyone as I am doing already, and will definitely come back one day.

What a beautiful retreat location! This spot feels like a true getaway and like a bit of a time capsule with a VHS and DVD player— and yet is close to all sorts of great spots (like Treehouse Brewery.) Would love to come back.

This place was very clean and the location is beautiful. It seems like a wonderful place to visit in warm weather because the deck would be lovely for sitting outside and enjoying the surroundings. We came in January, so we didn’t get to do that.

If you’re looking for a clean, secluded retreat this is the place for you. Nestled in the woods off the beaten trail, JoAnne has created a welcoming haven complete with cozy bedrooms, laundry facilities, a complete kitchen, hot shower and wrap around porch for sitting out and enjoying the wind through the trees.

Great private space along a secluded back road surrounded by trees. Very quiet and serene. All the essentials are there including some nice additional touches like some information about local parks and attractions. The inside is very characteristic and the bungalow is spacious but quaint. The only negative thing I can think of is that the bed is a bit old, but if you aren't picky about where you sleep it's no problem. Everything was clean and the place is well taken care of. Definitely would stay here again.

This was such a lovely place to unwind and relax after a long day. Check-in was super easy, thanks to the detailed instructions we received from JoAnne, and nice little touches like the stocked coffee/tea, use of washer/dryer, and the movies and board games provided, made for a lovely stay. Staying at Dale's was great for my wife and I. Dale was very quick to answer any questions we had and was very attentive to our needs as well. We found the location to be great for where we wanted to visit (Amherst, Nothampton, and Easthampton) and everything was clean and well taken care of.

This is a great place to stay. Comfy beds, nice shower, decorated nicely, keurig with eco-friendly cups, snacks, off-street parking. Dale was great with communicating and making sure we were settled in. There are a few lady bugs and other little bugs, didn't affect our stay but mentioning in case that's an issue for anyone.

First time here. Love the space! Really cool old house with such character! Super clean and private. The bed was very comfortable. It was nice to have the mini -fridge and Keurig coffee maker.

Dale’s place is very cozy and peaceful.

Dale's upstairs space was really cozy and surrounded by beautiful things. If you like cabin vibes and quiet, or want to pretend you're Emily Dickinson during your stay in western Mass, I'd highly recommend. Belchertown is a quick drive to Northampton, Amherst, etc. Really nice bathroom/shower, comfortable bed, extra heaters, cool chimney, and good communication/clarity from Dale. We didn't get a chance to meet them, but we felt super comfortable in their space!

You’ll feel right at home and have anything you might need. Didn’t want to leave it’s a perfect little house with nice touches and enough land to have some privacy. Also go on a nice hike down the back yard and there’s a little pond 😊

Loved the space. A great place to spend a little time and relax, and also conveniently located with quick access to local restaurants and shops.

This was such a lovely home and close to the Flea, just a few minutes to town and quiet as this is what we were looking for when we booked our get away. We had muffins, Juice and home made bread waiting for us with fresh seasonal fruit. Just what we needed after walking the Flea. Best of all, clean, bright, spacious and quiet. Was a wonderful trip. The Host and Hostess were the mostess! We can't say enough!

We had another wonderful stay at the carriage house! Spotlessly clean and Cathy is so welcoming. She had a variety of homebaked goods and fresh fruit salad, which we enjoyed for breakfast. We hope to be back soon! It's super convenient to the Brimfield Antiques Market.

Wonderful location for those looking to check out the Brimfield antique flea markets, or if you are on a journey for Tree House brews. The cottage is immaculate and spacious, with lots of windows. While there is a slight view of the lake from the deck, C & E are so welcoming and kind that they allow you to travel down the property to their tiny beach, fit with unique Adirondack chairs and a lovely view. Having stayed at numerous other Air BnB’s, this is my first experience having a host inquire about breakfast items we would like to have on hand during our stay! Upon arrival, the refrigerator was stocked with yogurts for each day and a fresh bowl of fruit, plus a basket of scrumptious baked goods (unrequested) sat atop the counter! Such touches make your stay feel all that more special. Lovely stay, with lovely hosts!

Beautiful lakeside location, plenty of room to accommodate 8 people. Shirley was a wonderful host. Excellent amenities, there were plenty of rafts, paddle boats, and firewood!

Shirley’s place was excellent! The house was right on the water and super cute. Space was clean, comfortable, and Shirely was easy to stay in contact with. The lake is quiet and boats are available to use. Shirely was super nice and helpful, and we would love to go back!

This is a one of a kind find! Our team had the greatest stay. Right on the lake! Plenty of comfortable sleeping spots! The views were incredible! I would highly recommend this place! Not to mention Shirley was a spectacular host!

Steve's place was a much needed retreat into the peacefulness of the small town life. The house was thoughtfully decorated with art that cultivates mindfulness. The property was nice with a great view of the lake. Overall, this was a great place to go and enjoy communion with nature and simplicity.

I had a wonderful time at Steve's cottage and will try to go back when I can.

Steve's place is beautiful. Fully stocked kitchen is super helpful. So many airbnbs don't even have salt and pepper, but Steve provides everything you'll need, including enough pots and pans, cooking utensils, etc. Nice sound system, beautifully decorated space, and a lovely location.

The house is in a nice quiet area but yet close enough to things to do. I loved being on the lake. The house, while not huge, was very homey and had all the amenities I was looking for. Steve was great, communicated quickly and made the whole experience super easy. Would definitely look forward to staying there again.

Steve was a great host and his place on the knoll was exactly what my family needed. We really enjoyed the artsy vibe. We were in town visiting family and had Thanksgiving dinner there. Everything we needed was there. Great place to stay with our fur baby. Quiet and peaceful.

Overall, the house is very beautiful with a nice collection of art and music. The views were amazing and we would love to stay there again.

My overnight stay in Annabelle and Rodri’s home was just perfect, from the greeting when I checked in to conversation before heading off to bed. The room was welcoming and spacious and I slept better than I had in a long time. From this location, we went to dinner in Amherst, a dance program at Hampshire and down to mount Holyoke college all within a short drive. Though the house is just off the main road, when you wake up you look out the window into the woods. It’s very pleasant and peaceful. I would happily stay here again.

Really great stay! Super clean, comfy bed, big room with lots of privacy. Lots of nice touches - flowers in the room and chocolate. I especially liked the lava lamp nightlight in the bathroom. Annabelle and Rodri were fine with a late check in and were very kind. Would definitely stay again if I am in the area.

Annabelle and Rodrigo were excellent hosts! They greeted me on arrival, showed me around their house and offered to help me get my luggage into the house. We had great interaction with each other and offered great tips when I had questions. Will definitely plan on staying here again!

I had a lovely and quick visit at Annabelle's home. The room was big and comfortable, I slept well, everything was extremely clean. There is road noise as the home is on a fairly busy road, but it didn't prevent me from sleeping. Annabelle and Rodri could not be nicer!

Annabelle and Rodri are “Super, Super Hosts” with the mostest!!!! I had the most amazing 1st Airbnb stay. They will be my go to home away from home (California) when visiting my sons at UMass. Their home is gorgeous, peaceful, relaxing and homey. The room is spacious, light and bright with many windows with an awesome wooded view.
