  • Robert's place was a cozy, relaxing getaway for the weekend. We loved the glamping-style of the dome, and being surrounded by nature. We also spend an afternoon at Bantam lake, a beautiful spot that's only about 15 mins away from the place. Would definitely recommend the dome to anyone looking to get away for a weekend to relax!

  • Guy’s place was amazing. Photos match the description. A wonderful fire place, kitchen, pool table, etc. Really beautiful and close to nature. Everything you need to stay inside or venture out.

    Logan2019-12-31T00:00:00Z
  • What a wonderful place. Rustic chic at its best. Kent is charming. The Appalachian Trail passes close by, so we got to walk it for a couple of hours. The barn is gorgeous, with guitars and drums and a pool table. Guy helped us with a Christmas tree stand, and we had a cosy family Christmas with six people. Lots of good food cooked in the generous kitchen, and even used the gym a couple of times in the cold. A special place. One note: rooms are unique and private but also have unique doors, so don't offer a lot of sound privacy. Just something to know beforehand.

Our farmhouse was built in 1793 and renovated early in the 21st century. The house features 5 bedrooms including a master suite, ample common spaces, huge kitchen, enclosed porch, a luxurious pool, pond, and 16 acres of well-maintained park.
The house is filled with lovely 18th century details – wide-timbered wood floors, exposed beams, tiny nooks – but it's also roomy and comfortable. There are five bedrooms (one in the attic) and many common spaces – a living room, sitting room, open kitchen/dining area with a functional fireplace, enclosed porch, home studio, and large patio. The house sits on a sixteen acre plot, and much of that land is ready to be explored. There's also a pool next to our historic barn. The house sleeps ten. We recently installed solar panels on the barn, because we're committed to making Sweetbrier more sustainable. Please follow us on Instagram at sweetbrierfarm for more pictures and inspiration.
Litchfield county offers ample opportunities for hiking, dining, and shopping. There are plenty of antique shops, local farmers stands and farmers markets, nearby vineyards, and exceptional restaurants in the area. We can also offer tips for a private chef and in-home yoga classes!
  • A beautifully detailed and warm home perfect for our winter nature trip with a large group. Host was responsive and on top of all our questions/alternations. Great place to spend a restorative week with friends and family.

    Ryan2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • We were three couples and six children ages 4mo to 7 years for three nights over New Years. The kitchen is big and well set up with a high end dishwasher and stove, so we had no problem cooking big meals with lots of cooks in the kitchen (figuratively and literally). There’s a Stop and Shop 10 minutes away. Liz and her local property manager were very responsive and helpful. The house was very well stocked, and had a number of child friendly things. The dining room fireplace works and is well maintained. We didn’t get to use the pool, but we did go sledding on the hill behind the house. Highly recommend for a group getaway.

    Judah Jeremy2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • Great house for large family groups. Warm and cozy in the winter. 1793 character with modern amenities.

    Eric2019-12-28T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing old farm house fit three families very comfortably. Lovely home for a stay in Litchfield!

    David2019-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • We had a very nice time at this house! Comfortably sleeps 8 adults. Unique and loved how historic it is. We really enjoyed the dining room fireplace and cooking in the kitchen. Was drizzling and cold out but felt nice and cozy in the house. Would be fun to come back in summer and use the pool, patio, and sun porch. We enjoyed walking around the pond. Noticed great amenities for young families as well.

    Sara2019-11-24T00:00:00Z
  • Really funky and cool spot. Love how so many parts of the 1793 original building are still intact. Large, open kitchen with the nice fireplace was where we gathered for an early Thanksgiving celebration. Master bed and bath was amazing. The other rooms were ok- some odd issues with the heat and I couldn't have my kids sleep in the attic bedroom with bunk beds because the stairs were so steep. The little pond was a huge hit and the kids loved fishing.

    Vanessa2019-11-11T00:00:00Z
  • This house is living history and the grounds are absolutely stunning. We stayed during fall and the trees were absolutely stunning on the property. We fished in the lake, enjoyed the fireplace and loved the history. Still close enough to town to go out for dinner or groceries.

The cozy apartment is one section of the Perkins Homestead an historic 1847 farmhouse; Private entrance leads to living room with couch in front of a charming non working fireplace, table for casual eating and stuffed chair for reading. Sitting room leads to kitchenette with sink/refrigerator/coffee maker/micro; Upstairs are two cozy bedrooms! The master bedroom has bead board ceilings, queen bed, adjoining bathroom w/ bathtub/newly tiled walls; second bedroom has a full size bed w/ antiques.
The home is "The Perkins Homestead". The upstairs master "suite" is a cozy room with sloped bead board ceilings and an adjoining bathroom. The bathroom is appointed with a bath tub and newly tiled walls. The bedroom and bath are serviced with an air conditioner for those hot summer days. Across the hall is the second bedroom appointed with antiques!
The home is located on the country road of route 45 in Warren. Close by is the beautiful Lake Waramaug. It's fun to take a drive around it or stop to hang out on it's beach. Overlooking the lake is The Hopkins Inn for a drink or a bite to eat......or.....the Hopkins Winery for a "tasting". Just 10 minutes down the road is the quaint town of New Preston with its shops and casual eatery. the town is built along the river that was used for power "in the day". Hiking trails are numerous. A favorite of mine is Steep Rock in Washington. A casual walk along the dirt road which runs along the river or a more strenuous hike on the more hilly side. Visit the historic covered bridge at Bulls Bridge and explore what the swirling water has done to the rocks over thousands of years. From there you can follow the Appalachian Trail for a "walk"........ or a "hike"! In season there are several ski areas within an easy distance.....Catamount, Mohawk Mountain Ski Area, Butternut and Ski Sundown. The charming town of Great Barrington Massachusetts is an easy trip with it's shops and galleries and also the nearby Tanglewood for Boston Pops concerts. Relax and have fun!
  • Nice quaint, historic place.

  • This home was absolutely charming, full of history and character. My fiance and I came here last minute to go snowboarding. Peter was great and very informative. It snowed while we were there and he shoveled the steps in front of our door as well as a path to our car. So sweet :)

    Klea2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • We were in the area for a wedding and this apartment was the perfect place to wind down at the end of a busy day. The electric fireplace makes the downstairs nice and cozy. There was a beautiful open view out the back windows. Location is convenient to many things in the area. Would love to see this area in the fall when the leaves are changing!

    Janet2019-12-23T00:00:00Z
  • Simple place but very comfortable in a beautiful area of CT. We booked quite last minute and Peter was very responsive to messages and made our stay seamless. We spent our time exploring the nearby villages, nice walks and a couple of vineyards/ distilleries.

The cozy "Guest Suite" at the Perkins Homestead has it's own private entrance; Enjoy the feeling of the history at the antique 1847 farmhouse with wide plank floors; working fireplace; cozy living room with large screen TV, coffee maker and under counter refrigerator; King size bed (With enough notice I could provide an air mattress for a 3rd person); Views of a dirt road that meanders through the original "Homestead" farmland; take a walk or just hang out in front of a fire.
The guest suite is next to a two bedroom apartment. If the apartment is available....you could rent both adjoining spaces and have accommodations for up to 6 people with two bathrooms and two living rooms.
My home is the original farmhouse of a working farm on a country road in Warren! Next door is the original silo. There's a dirt road behind the home that runs between the fields that make for wonderful walking!
  • Peter was a wonderful host. His suite was immaculate and tasteful and cozy.

    Nicole2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • This is a great space and Peter is super helpful - I’d really recommend!

    Kaley2019-10-23T00:00:00Z
  • Peter's "suite" is stylish and cozy. We enjoyed the Keurig and the big screen TV. The location felt serene but we were easily able to get to lots of coffee shops and restaurants within 15-20 minutes. One thing to note for sensitive sleepers is perhaps to bring earplugs as the bed faces the street and there is some light traffic passing at night.

    Ellie2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • Peter’s space is a small ‘apartment’ that is part of a larger home. It’s private, cozy as the description would suggest and has a rustic charm evident throughout. There is a small mini-fridge provided as well as a small coffee station. Be sure to bring cream/milk! He also laid out copious info about area attractions and the Litchfield county region. One thing to bear in mind is that it is a vintage home and in that way, was a little warm upon arrival and took some time to cool down. Furthermore, he is in the woods, so insect repellent is a must if you intend on spending time outside. Peter pointed out a nearby road where he likes to walk his dog close by. While I didn’t have the chance to traverse this myself, I get the impression that it would be a lovely way to begin one’s morning. The grounds were beautiful to see. Due to the location, cell service is, as expected, a little touch-and-go. Peter has cable and a TV installed, though the Wi-fi is not the strongest. (Common with older homes that were built with dense materials) I’m able to do a significant amount of offline work so for me it wasn’t an issue. Overall, I was very pleased with the space and the area. I truly think this selection would come alive in the autumn and I hope to be back to see it!

    Bryan2019-08-21T00:00:00Z

    Olga2019-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • A cozy and comfortable place in a great area. Peter is a very gracious host. I would definitely stay there again!

    Jessica M.2019-08-10T00:00:00Z
  • Peter’s place is a very special space. The decor, comfortable bed and seating areas were all so very welcoming. Nice touches such a air conditioning, fridge, Internet and big screen TV were appreciated! The area is lovely, peaceful and a short drive to all that the Litchfield Hills and Lower Berkshires offer. We look forward to our next stay Peter, thank you!

  • This is a nice place with a fire place and very clean comfortable spaces.

    Kate2019-12-28T00:00:00Z
  • We had a family Thanksgiving gathering at Krzysztof's house and it was perfect for us. The house is clean, well-laid out and decorated, and the kitchen had the space and almost everything we needed to cook and eat. The location is peaceful and beautiful. Krzysztof was easy to communicate with. I would stay there again and would recommend it.

    Karin2019-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • This home is deceiving from the outside. Each room is very large and most comfortable. The kitchen had more than ample work space and for the length of time we were there we found ourselves in need of the washer and dryer which was in the basement. Being able to watch netflix was a plus. We would go back should the need arise. Thank you.

    Sue2019-11-14T00:00:00Z
  • This is a wonderful home in that it is in a terrific location, it is spacious, it is located in a quiet area and it is very clean. Considering this with the low/reasonable cost and its an excellent value and a home anyone wanting to take advantage of Kent, Lake Waramaug, Washington Depot, etc. should consider. I am a former AirBNB Super Host with several properties in Nashville, TN and I promise you that this property has been done very well in every regard and I strongly recommend it. Good luck!!

Come enjoy our cozy, clean, newly renovated semi-detached cottage in the Litchfield Hills. • Great location. Stylish, well-designed space with everything you need. Comfortable, quiet stay. Kind, responsive hosts: Pam and her partner went out of their way to help me with the WiFi passcode. Thank you!

  • Pam responds very quickly and garnishes her cottage with special touches making you feel welcome in a home away form home. We will definitely go back to explore more of the area! You will not be disappointed staying in this well decorated, clean, cozy home away from home.

  • Pam and Walter have provided the perfect home-away-from-home for all types of travelers. The kitchen is perfectly sized and appointed, the location behind Pam and Walt’s home is private and serene, and they are more than happy to help should you ever need anything! I can’t say enough about this stay, except I almost don’t want to post how wonderful it was in case it’s booked next time is like to visit! Thank you, Pam and Walt!

    Meredith2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Pam's cottage is truly charming, you won't be disappointed! My husband and I were just there for the night so we could ski at Mohawk Mountain the next day; it was perfect for us and only a few minutes from the mountain. Pam's communication was prompt and warm, her space full of personal touches and so welcoming, and our only complaint is we wish we could have stayed longer! The space is small but really all you need and very clean, the bed is comfortable and the sheets soft, and Pam and Walter have thought of and supplied so many amenities like toiletries, kitchen basics, and a binder full of local recommendations. Pam was also wonderful to communicate with and accommodating with logistics when we needed to arrive late. Check in and out was incredibly easy and to top everything off, the cottage is in a beautiful area with a river rushing by. Thanks Pam for everything!

    Lindsay2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • Friends and I booked this cottage as a gift to my brother and sister-in-law. They thoroughly enjoyed their babymoon at this location and are already talking about hoping to return in future. Pam was extremely accommodating and friends and willing to work with us on making the trip feasible to gift. My sister-in-law describes the cottage as adorable and cozy.

    Leah2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage was a perfect getaway, 10/10 would stay there again.

    Rebecca2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at Pam & Walt’s cottage was wonderful. It was such a cozy, tidy, and relaxing place. They left a binder full of suggestions to maximize our comfort and enjoyment in the area, and were extremely quick to reply when we had any questions. We felt right at home and can’t wait to be back.

  • Andrea's loft space is a great space to spend a few nights- it was the simple things, like not having squeaky floors and stairs, having the AC turned on before we got there, and bottled water, that made our stay effortless. The location was super convenient as well.

  • An incredible location to the explore the area. It was a great home away from home. Both beds were comfy and the amenities were excellent. I would stay here with friends or family again. Andrea was a phenomenal host!

  • I chose this spot because of its close proximity to so many good fishing spots and didn’t expect it to be as awesome as it was! Very clean, large bedrooms, private, very very cool details. Bed was very comfortable. Over all great place to stay

  • Great place to stay!

    Kamil2019-07-21T00:00:00Z
  • There's lots of space in the two bedrooms, living area, and bathroom. It's an exceptionally up to date, tidy, and lovely farmhouse. There's reliable and speedy WiFi which I needed for working at night (my Verizon cellular was marginal). Even though there was a 95 degree heat wave, the two bedrooms A/C units kept the areas very comfortable. Our only regret was not having time to explore the rest of the property.

    Ken2019-07-20T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful place with lots of personality. Big common room and two good-size bedrooms. Bathroom is perfect, though it is down the hall. We enjoyed being here and would definitely go back.

    Elizabeth2019-07-18T00:00:00Z
  • If you're looking a perfect weekend this is just the place! Andrea's place was clean and comfortable with everything we needed for our stay. We appreciated the fresh pastries left for us upon check in, as well as coloring books, games, and books. We loved Andrea's place and would highly recommend!

  • We enjoyed our visit to this lovely part of rural Connecticut, with its rolling hills, farms and woodlands. There is beautiful scenery all around this Airbnb, and good places to walk. The guest quarters are spacious and attractive, with many thoughtful touches and all the comforts of home. We enjoyed our visit very much.

  • Great private entrance apartment that has everything you could want, and a giant tv. We felt spoiled by the coffee selection. Nice people

    Emma2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • We've stayed at Jennifer's several times now as we come to visit our family in the area. We've come to think of it as a home away from home, a relaxing, clean and very comfortable place to come back to at the end of a full day of playing with a busy baby and his parents! We've never been anything but completely satisfied. This was our first winter visit and on arrival Jennifer had the electric fireplace going, very cozy and warm on one of the coldest nights of the year. Much appreciated in addiiton to all the other comforts provided.

    Beth2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Such an incredible stay! It was the perfect weekend getaway. Great amenities inside the guest suite: a Keurig, snacks, and a delightful sitting area to watch TV when it got chilly. Would definitely recommend! Jennifer was incredibly nice and hospitable as well. Thank you for a terrific trip!

  • This cottage has it all, location, cleanliness, hospitality. We booked the cottage literally the evening before and was able to communicate with Tom immediately. We brought our Iggies and the loved the location...they gazed out the front door at the lake in front of them in wonderment. We were pleasantly surprised by the treats Tom had left for us ... and the doggos! Looking forward to definitely coming back!

    Chelsea2019-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful weekend at Bliss Cottage, which, as others have noted, is an apt description. Having breakfast on the porch in the morning overlooking the lake is so peaceful, and Tom was a communicative and accommodating host. It’s a perfect home for a couples or family getaway, anyone looking to visit the area should absolutely consider staying here!

    Matthew2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • The Bliss Cottage is a perfect place for a getaway! It has a beautiful view of the lake from the front porch, which is the ideal spot to have your breakfast every morning. Tom left us delicious muffins upon our arrival, and was very prompt and accommodating with our needs. We'll definitely be going back to the cottage soon!

    Kayla2019-07-30T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing stay, as always!

    Francesco2019-07-07T00:00:00Z
  • As many other reviewers have said, the view of Lake Waramaug is what makes Bliss Cottage truly special. We enjoyed breakfast and coffee on the porch every morning taking in views of the lake. Our kids enjoyed both the Warren township beach and the private Hopkins Inn beach and spent hours playing in the water. It is also close to neighboring towns of New Preston, Bantam, Kent, etc. which we enjoyed exploring. Tom is a wonderful host and we hope to return.

This former blacksmith's shop was meticulously renovated to ensure a peaceful respite while visiting Litchfield County. If the gourmet kitchen, luxurious bedding, heated bathroom floor & steam shower don't impress, our blueberry muffins surely will!
Less than 2 hours from New York City, this bucolic area (Litchfield County, CT) is known for it's beauty, social luster and solitude. Many noteworthy people have made it their second (home away from) home. Our masterfully restored and enhanced 1779 Colonial property is on the Connecticut State Register of Historic Places, and is rich with history yet modern comforts, offering you a sophisticated, private country experience on 7 acres, replete with horses. Our 15 baby chicks arrived in early May, and guests can now help themselves to fresh eggs laid by organically-fed, free-range chickens. This two-story cottage includes a cobblestone (propane-fueled) fireplace, and a gourmet kitchen fully appointed and stocked so that you can cook and eat in if you so choose. Awaken to a selection of coffees, teas, hot cocoa and/or hot cider. And while nearby Marty's Cafe in charming Washington Depot is a favorite for our guests who like to slip out for a cappuccino or latte early in the AM, we have just added a Jura Capresso F9 semi-automatic espresso machine, complete with fresh-roasted "Inspiration" beans from a local coffee roaster so that you can stay in and make your own. And, for foodies that crave a "farm to table experience"--we can provide you with lots of suggestions re: where to find local, sustainably and in many cases organically grown produce, poultry and beef. If you choose to eat out over cooking in, we are near an eclectic selection of restaurants, ranging from a Southern Barbecue to a British pub, and one that features organic/sustainable fare that you won't have to procure or prepare yourselves. And for those that love live music, we are just one-half hour away from the Infinity Music Hall. And the highly acclaimed Warner Theater in Torrington CT (also just one half-hour away) has a great variety of both shows and performers. We are near fabulous antique shopping, numerous artist's studios, independent bookstores and boutique shops, and several highly renowned spas (The Mayflower and the Winvian). In the alternative, for those that like to be pampered--we can arrange for you to have a Shiatsu massage right here in the privacy of the cottage. And for those that love the outdoors, walking, running and cycling trails abound! Kent State Park, White Memorial and Steeprock Preserve are all less than 20 minutes away. And of course, there are several fantastic, scenic and challenging golf courses nearby. (Want to train out of New York with just a backpack and your bikes? We'll pick you up and drop you off at the Metro North station at Harlem Valley/Wingdale--just 20 minutes away). For skiers, Mohawk Mountain is less than 20 minutes away. They literally invented snowmaking, so as long as it's cold enough out during the evening hours (11P-7A) for them to have their snow guns operating (which cover 100% of the mountain), they'll be white and deep enough for you to ski to your heart's content. Guests who like to challenge themselves by visiting different ski areas over the course of their stay can also venture East to Ski Sundown (which is 40 minutes away) or North into the Berkshires, and traverse the trails of Berkshire East, Butternut and/or Catamount ski areas--all less than 90 minutes away. Regardless, we are confident that you will enjoy your recreational time skiing in the area, and your après-ski time relaxing by our (thermostatically-controlled) fireplace, or by taking a rejuvenating steam shower in our (heated) marble-floored bath. During the Summer, with advance notice (your car's registration info and an $80.00 fee payable to the Town of Warren), you can have access to a private, beautiful and secluded town beach located just 5 miles away on one of the cleanest lakes in New England. Do you have a child attending a private school in Litchfield County? We are proximate to many area schools, including Canterbury, Kent School, South Kent School, Hotchkiss, Rumsey Hall and the Taft School.
  • This is a beautiful area of Connecticut I can't wait to go back to. It feels further away than it is (only about 2 hours from NYC) The hosts are super friendly and had knowledgeable tips to share but still just let us enjoy everything on our own. The proximity to the cute towns in the area (Washington Depot, Bantam and Kent) great food options and all the beautiful surrounding scenery makes this a no brainer for a quaint weekend getaway. The cottage itself was the perfect size for our small family and my daughter loved the little touches that made it extra cozy- a window seat, a tree swing. Little extra touches like morning blueberry muffins were greatly appreciated. Also now thanks to the Warshaws I now have a new life goal- heated bathroom tiles!

  • Had a lovely stay at Hummingbird Haven guest cottage. The cottage is nicely laid out and very cozy. The bedroom loft is a large, comfortable space, and the living space downstairs - with a fire! - was just what we needed on a November morning. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the morning muffins were delicious. Thank you very much for a perfect stay!

    Amy2019-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage is idyllic. It has everything you need for a quiet weekend getaway to explore Connecticut's charming small towns. Waking up to fresh baked, delicious muffins was the perfect way to start off our day. We spent much of the weekend cooking in the well-stocked kitchen, reading by the fire, or saying hello to the horse. Stay here, you won't regret it.

    Katherine2019-10-19T00:00:00Z
  • Cynthia and Stephen are fantastic hosts. They were so nice to show our young daughter their horse and chickens. The muffins were a big hit. The cottage is clean & cozy & everything was perfect and my family loved our three nights there. Highly recommended!

  • We stayed with the Warshaw’s for one night after our wedding. The property was absolutely beautiful, but beyond that, the hosts were kind and welcoming. We spent the night in a lovely cottage and woke up to the most delicious homemade blueberry muffins. The cottage is absolutely perfect for a cozy week and I hope we’ll get to return!

The Cozy Inn is located on a working farm, nestled in Kent Hollow near Lake Waramug. The bed & breakfast is in the old Camps family farmhouse, which has just been fully renovated. The inn is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the quiet rural community of Kent, Connecticut, or be a home base for exploring the rich cultural history and hikes of Litchfield County.
The farmhouse dates back to approximately 1760, and has been complete renovated to expose the original architecture with modern amenities. Each room has a private HVAC unit, a beautiful new toilet and shower or tub, and original wooden floors. The house has a small back deck, overlooking the lawn and the field, perfect for a quiet breakfast or sitting in the sun with a favorite novel. It's off the beaten path, with a pretty hop yard, garden, and open fields, to get some time in the country. UPDATE: If you are a nurse, doctor, or health care professional needing temporary housing near Sharon Hospital, I am offering need-based discounts for those tasked with keeping our community safe. Please contact me for long-term rates and accommodations. I will give preference to LOCAL persons in need of housing and shelter. Additionally, if you are on rotation at the hospital and concerned about cross-contamination, but only need housing 3-4 days per week, I will pro-rate the long term for the days you need and NOT book around you so that you may rest assured the residence is vacant during your absence. Additionally, if you are a student, traveller, or other person who suddenly finds themselves stranded because of travel restrictions, delays, closures, or health issues; or, you are seeking shelter from populated areas; or, you have a family member nearby, I will provide appropriate crisis related discounts to accommodate you. If you are seeking refuge from NYC and are coming to our community to shelter, please do so with respect and caution. Tell me about your plans to quarantine when you arrive and if you have had any significant exposures. Our community is friendly and open, but we also want to know that you are coming with our safety and yours as a priority. An outbreak is not the time for a vacation. The rental unit is isolated from the main house, is cleaned and disinfected after every guest and regularly, and is away from close-quarters lodging and high-risk crowds and contamination in more heavily populated areas. There is a 3 acre yard, quiet screened sitting area, and for the time being, there is meal delivery from a local restaurant. This is an 'in-law' apartment in a larger house. There is a separate entry, and all areas are private and dedicated to guest occupancy only. The booking will include two private queen bedrooms, a living room with dining table, a kitchen, bath, and 3-season porch for sitting and entertaining. The house features wood flooring, crown molding, and antique cast-iron radiators.
The NW Corner of Connecticut is rural and secluded, but also convenient to so much! My property is only a mile or so from the Appalachian Trail for those hikers who need a break from tents and lean-tos; but it's also only 20 minutes from the Wassaic station on the Harlem Valley Line to NYC. You'll be close to a wide array of arts, crafts, outdoor, and shopping activities as well as several of the private schools like Hotchkiss, Kent, Salisbury, and Marvelwood. The Trinity Retreat is about a ten minute walk across the river and Music Mountain and Sharon Playhouse are each about 15 minutes by car.

Hopkins Inn/Winery is right around the corner. 10 minute drive to Kent School, and South Kent School. 15 minute drive to The Gunnery. 20 minutes to Bantam. Great outdoor area, both upstairs, and out by the above ground pool. New 6 person outdoor hot tub. Home is set on 1.5 acres, and is quiet and private.
1.5 acres of land all to yourself. Part of that land is fenced in, so if you bring your dog, you can let them run free. Fire pit, above ground pool with pool deck, gas grill, all for your use. Fully stocked kitchen ready for your use. We also have a ping pong table and dart board if you like games!
Quiet neighborhood, not many cars go by on any given day, just enjoy the serenity and privacy of the country.
  • Relaxing, pretty area, great deck and bbq. Lovely pool and hot tub.

  • This was my friends and I first Airbnb and Jennifer made it so easy and just an amazing experience. Jennifer’s home is absolutely amazing ! Feels much bigger then it looks and it’s absolutely breath taking, Jennifer was super friendly and easy to communicate with. Her home was clean and ready for us when we got there. The pool and hot tub are AMAZING & a perfect fit for a 4-5 people stay. The pictures don’t do the place justice. Can’t wait to come back !

    Dayana2019-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • The home was very spacious and so was the land. Pool and hot tub were excellent, the pool was much larger than expected. We went for a relaxing girls weekend and were not disappointed! We are already thinking about coming back next year!

    Jessica2019-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • This is a lovely spacious house exactly as described. We had a great time and communication with Jennifer was seamless. We totally understand the installation of a new security camer at the front of the house to see who is coming and going, however we felt extremely uncomfortable with the audio/video camera over the pool area - we felt it was an invasion of our privacy.

    Caitlin2019-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • Jennifer’s house was amazing. She had everything we needed in her house. We had activities planned for one of the days we were there and decided to say in and enjoy the house. The pool is in the the perfect place to get the right amount of sun light. She has little bird houses around the property which are visited but beautiful hummingbirds. My family and I will be visiting again. Love this place.

    Manuel2019-07-14T00:00:00Z
  • Jennifer’s place was amazing and absolutely much better than what you see in the picture! It’s very spacious and also safe and fun for both pets and children! My nieces had an amazing time and my pup as well! Everything is fairly close, but it’s perfect when you’re trying to get away from the hustle of the city. The pool was very clean and the hot tub very relaxing. She also has a ping pong table, which was so much fun!! Jennifer was very quick to answer to any of my concerns and requests! She very accommodating and easy to get a hold of.

    Priscilla2019-07-01T00:00:00Z
  • This house was great for a family weekend getaway- we really enjoyed our stay! House is spacious and we had great weather so we were able to take advantage of the pool, hot tub, grill, etc. We also used the fire pit one night for a bonfire. Their home is dog friendly and our 5 month only pup had the best time running around the backyard:) We visited the town while here (go to So Delicious Bakery!), as well as Kent State Falls Park. Recommend checking out both, the falls was a good day activity esp if you want to get a little exercise in! Can’t recommend this Airbnb more!

    Sarah2019-06-10T00:00:00Z
  • Jennifer’s house was a perfect location for our family gathering. It is spacious, clean, and comfortable. The ping pong table and hot tub were big hits. The neighborhood is quiet and pretty. We loved our stay!

Thank you for looking at the farm. The farm is located less than ¼ mile from beautiful Lake Waramaug and the town beach is available, with a life guard. 10 miles the center of Litchfield, ct 16 miles Mohawk ski area in Cornwall
The farm was built 1851 and is listed on the ct historic register. The house features a large kitchen with a commercial range and granite counters. There is patio area over looking a formal garden and the orchards. There is large screened in porch. It is situated on 42 acres to explore, great for hiking and cross country skiing. There is swimmable pond and a gorge with a water fall. The town beach is 1/4 mile away and has a life guard and picnic area. There are 2 beautiful barns. During certain times during the year there are cows in the pasture. The cows are fun to watch and are very docile, friendly and are very good listeners. The property is family/kid friendly, and a crib is available.
  • Paul’s house was beautiful and exactly as described. It was a great location close to parks, the lake, and vineyards. Paul was very accommodating and hospitable and shared some great insight into the area. We got married in the area that weekend and our bridal party stayed at the house. Everyone loved that the house has some history and character along with some modern touches. Already talking about another weekend away at the farm.

    Edward2019-06-02T00:00:00Z
  • Paul's place is ideally located and very neat and clean. Our stay was exceedingly pleasant

    Vikram2019-05-20T00:00:00Z
  • Paul was a fantastic host, he was very responsive and flexible regarding check in and check out! The house is very beautiful but a little far removed from bars/restaurants (about 20/30 mins away from everything). Perfect for a weekend getaway!

    Sammy2019-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • This is a great place to spend time with family near the lake. The kitchen is lovely and newly renovated and the outside porch and patio are perfect for enjoying the outdoor beauty. The house has old colonial charm. The bathrooms are a bit outdated but kept clean. We would recommend this house to anyone.

Fancy something a little more unique? Tired of the usual? Come and enjoy a one of a kind converted tobacco barn filled with unique artwork and industrial lighting - plus a grand piano! We are located in the beautiful Litchfield Hills surrounded by great walking trails and local eateries- two pubs within walking distance and an Italian deli truck just down the road. Within two hours of NYC, this is an ideal getaway. Come and see why😀
The main living area is just six feet from the road up two steps . The bathroom and shower are on the main floor with the bedroom up a flight of stairs with a rail.
We are close to many great walking trails , eateries, antique shops and the two local towns of Washington and New Preston which have many boutiques and one off shops. I am planning to have a full guide book available in the apartment and am always only a door away for advice.
  • Super cute place with amazing amenities. You really feel cozy and at home. Next to a beautiful vineyard with a lakeside view and a cute town awesome antique stores

    Eric2020-01-29T00:00:00Z
  • Strongly recommend staying at Denny's converted barn. Very warm/cozy vibe that led to a relaxing weekend. I'm sure we'll be back but if you're on the fence about a serene weekend away, this place is the answer. Affordable and wonderful.

    Michael2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • A great little hideaway in the Litchfield Hills! We enjoyed a cozy, relaxing stay at Denny’s and recommend it to anyone who is looking to stay in the area. Charming rural cabin in beautiful Washington Depot, Connecticut.
This property is situated high on a hill above the road. The cottage is recently remodeled from top to bottom. It has lots of vintage charm but combined with a modern stove, fridge and bathroom. There are two bedrooms, one with a king size bed and walk-in closet. The second has a queen bed and another large closet. Both have dressers, night stands and plenty of space to stretch out. The kitchen includes a coffee machine, toaster, electric tea kettle and all the pots and pans you might need.
The town of Washington Depot was the inspiration for "Starry Hollow" on the show Gilmore Girls, and it's the quintessential New England town. A large percentage of the town is dedicated to open space preservation, and there is a beautiful lake and river in town.
  • We loved staying at the cottage! It is charming, clean , and comfortable. Thank you Robert ! We will definitely book again !

    Luisa2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • The space is beautiful and clean. It was perfect for us for a couple of nights of being outside the city. There are trails just a few mins drive away. It was also great to stargaze is the evenings!

    Andrew2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • Robert's place is amazing. There is a trailhead right in the backyard that leads to a fairly easy trek up to a gorgeous summit, and has access to multiple other trails. The house has a wonderful little kitchen if you're planning on cooking your own meals during your stay with a large gas range. There are also some very nice and cozy spots to relax, eat and drink just minutes from the cabin if you don't plan on cooking. You truly get the best of both worlds, whether you'd like a secluded cabin feel or a place with ease of access to local amenities. We did a tour at the Litchfield distillery just 10 minute drive away which included a free tasting, if that's you're thing I would recommend checking it out! Robert is a highly attentive and responsive host, we'd love to come back! I recommend booking this spot if it is available, don't wait!

    Lou2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely loved staying at Robert’s guest cottage. The place was quaint and chic, exactly what we needed. Our doggies loved running on the beautiful property and we enjoyed a great hike behind the house. Robert was an excellent and attentive host and was there to answer any question we had immediately. Definitely hope to return again!

    Jacquelyn2020-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • A charming, light-filled cottage on a hill! Situated far enough from the main road to feel private. Decor is thoughtful, bath and kitchen have been recently remodeled. Beds very comfortable. Robert responds to messages immediately! Abundance of trails and nature preserves to explore, xcountry skiing a mile away, as well as "Wigwam Escape", which was a surprising highlight for a family with varied ages. Just lovely.

    Lorna2019-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • Robert was extremely hospitable and responsive! He offered amazing trips for my NYC getaway, which was the perfect oasis for tranquility I was looking for. His home was brand-spanking new with very stylish decor. This experience was very relaxing and at a great price.

  • Staying here is the same as at home, the landlord is very warm and considerate, especially the delicious breakfast, which is different every day. The placement of the table will greatly increase your appetite, according to the amount of food you eat every day. The next day will immediately improve the pattern and salty sweet food, a short month to stay here for nearly 20 days, hard to leave, next time must continue to come to enjoy delicacies!

  • We had an amazing experience at Jeffrey's place. His home is beautiful, classic and comfortable. The fire place with a cup of tea was great at the end of the day. • Can’t beat the location (literally 5’ from Mohawk Mountain Ski) Donna’s place was fantastic! Super easy check in, great communication, super comfortable mattresses. We arrived on a super cold day to a warm and cozy home and had a great time. We explore the little creek that runs behind the property and enjoyed a hot chocolate to warm us up on a chilly afternoon in CT. Donna is an amazing host, who prepared lots of lovely details (hello arriving to a warm house on a cold day! Thanks Donna for that!), a fantastic book selection, DVDs (so many movies! So little time!) and fun board games! If you’re looking for a good family getaway, I’d totally recommend her place. It’s the best Air bnb experience I had so far (I’ve been to four). Last: Bantam market has so many delicious foods to get and is about 10min drive from the home. I recommend getting your groceries there before arrival so you don’t need to leave again.

    Andrea2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • We had the best time staying here! The house was stocked with things like ice cream, coffee, and seasoning. We cooked a big dinner using all the great kitchenware. A big luxury of this house is the bathtub!!

  • Wonderful home. Very cozy & quiet. If your looking for a quiet place with plenty of space then I would reccomend giving this home a shot. Has everything you would need. Only caveat is there isnt any cable but that's easily fixed by bringing a laptop or tablet as the internet is incredibly quick. & the host provides a ton of movies in the home to watch should you prefer that.

    Taylor2019-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • Bill was very responsive and helpful throughout my whole stay. Was very thoughtful to give a heads up so you know just what to expect. I was very happy with the little cabin: it gave everything I needed, and it was nice to have some nice amenities and snacks. I like warm showers and the temperature was very comfortable and I just had some work done on my back after an injury caused a muscle spasm and I found rest there very comfortable. I read another review that made me a little nervous about the bed being uncomfortable, but I struggle to sleep without causing pain usually, yet slept fine at the cabin. All in all, great find!

    Michael2019-08-12T00:00:00Z

A Brief History of Milton This beautiful section of Litchfield, CT was originally settled around 1740. In its earliest days it was known as the “Northwest Section,” but soon was called “Blue Swamp” because of the blue gentian wild flowers that grew beneath the many tamarack trees which flourished in the swampy area. The name Milton was chosen in 1795, probably in honor of John Milton, the English poet.
  • Antonia’s place is incredible!! My girlfriend and I booked late and she was so accommodating to us. The studio is beautiful and has everything you need. They really put a lot of thought into making sure you have everything. The place is full of natural light and it was so nice to walk down to the stream in the backyard. They were incredibly friendly hosts and we plan to try to book this place in the future!

  • Magical spot with lots of good juju!! It will not disappoint! Close to everything but yet extremely private. This studio is adorable and comfortable.

  • Antonia was such a pleasure to meet, and made my friend and I feel right at home! Her personal touches were so thoughtful, and the area around was so beautiful and exciting to explore. We'd definitely stay again :)

  • We're somewhat new to Airbnb, but this was the nicest accommodation we've discovered to date. Antonia's studio is cozy, quiet, incredibly clean and well appointed. Be sure to take in the natural setting. It is a surprising little retreat inside and out, and Antonia is a thoughtful and welcoming host. We've already booked our next stay.

  • Thank you for opening up your beautiful home! It was quiet and relaxing for New Years! Everything was immaculate, would definitely come back again!

    Chanel2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • Everything about our stay was perfect. First night as an engaged couple and we couldn’t have asked for a better spot to hide away alone. We walked along the river. Dinner in Kent. Quiet and peaceful stay. The studio was so lovely and we were able to really enjoy spending our night alone. And Antonia was more than amazing. She was so great to talk to and truly wanted to make our stay unforgettable. Can not wait to return in the future.

  • This was a highlight AirBnB experience. The space looks great online, but it's even better in person - clean, stylish, and very well-appointed. The setting is beautiful with the stream in back and surrounded by woods and country roads. It's such a gem.

    Shannon2019-11-30T00:00:00Z
  • Antonia is an inviting host with a tasteful design aesthetic. Her choice of color, furniture, and accessories work well with the interior space while the landscaping touches and access to the river enhance the overall experience. This is a must stay!

A spacious, very quiet, completely private first floor room with its own entrance at the back of my 1844 Italianate Victorian. There’s a queen bed, 2 upholstered chairs, and a wood table with 4 chairs where you can bring in food, your laptop, or borrow a game or jigsaw puzzle! The half bath is on the first floor, with a full bath (shower, no tub) on the second floor. The access and use is completely private.
This sunny room is large but very cozy with 10’ ceilings, reading lamps for reading in bed, an antique Hoosier cabinet containing coffee and tea making equipment with a variety of coffee and teas, a small fridge, a corkscrew with wine glasses, and a bottle opener. There’s a queen bed, lots of pillow options, and 2 upholstered chairs. The table offers plenty of space to work or draw, bring in food or play a game. The back yard and patio is a quiet place to relax with a table and chairs, and a swing seat hanging from the sycamore tree. The half bath is on the first floor, with a full tiled bath (shower, no tub) right above it on the second floor. This access is up one flight of stairs (they are somewhat steep and shallow, the old servant's stairs) and is completely yours alone, with nothing shared or access to or from the house. New Milford boasts one of the loveliest greens in New England. I'm in walking distance (under 5 minutes), there are many wonderful restaurants, a movie theater, live theater, fun shops, great breakfast spots and a newly opened walking/biking trail along the Housatonic River. With Roxbury and Washington to the east, Kent and Litchfield to the north, and so many other charming towns in the area, you’ll be centrally located for wining, dining and adventure. My home is situated between Canterbury School and the town green, and is a 5 minute walk in either direction. Saturday mornings host a vibrant farmers market from 9 to 12. Fresh plants, veggies and fruits, breads, beer, cider donuts, goat cheese and goat soap, natural pet food, local meats and farm fresh eggs are all available from local vendors.
Very quiet, the room is on the back of the house with little road noise. Parking is in the back as well and completely safe.
  • Room was spacious but cozy, beautiful house and neighborhood - we really enjoyed our stay!

  • Pat's place was just as advertised. She was a lovely host and the room was lovely and very clean! We would stay again in a heartbeat on our next trip to CT.

  • Awesome stay! Small New England town. Pat is very nice. Greeted us and chatted for a few minutes. Made us feel at home. Perfect weekend stay.

  • We had a wonderful time at Pat’s place. New Milford is a lovely little town and the perfect place to begin our road trip through New England. Pat was a great host - very quick to respond and very accommodating with our loose check-in time. We loved the room and private bathroom in this beautiful and historic house. Would stay again!

  • New Milford is a great place to visit and Pat’s place is the perfect place to stay. She has a gorgeous home and she is a gracious host.

    Judy2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely stay for the night at Pat’s place. Pat met us in person and talked us through everything in the suite, as well as giving us some brilliant recommendations for dinner and drinks in New Milford. The town is really cute and there’s plenty to do there. After dinner we made the most of the board games cupboard and had a great nights sleep in a comfy bed. Thanks Pat!

  • Sarah’s loft was perfectly decorated and had so many thoughtful details. Super clean and had everything we expect and needed and more! Sarah even helped book in room massages for my husband and I! We couldn’t have been more pleased with our stay.

    Tricia2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • This is a great place to get away from it all. Very quiet little town and the loft had everything that I needed to make my escape exactly what I needed.

    MaKenzie2020-01-18T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our stay at Sarah’s hayloft—clean, quiet, and cozy. We never met Sarah but she was an excellent communicator before and during our stay. Highly recommend!

  • This barn apartment is not only private, spacious, and inviting, but it’s the perfect getaway spot for a couple or small family! The Horse Decor is beyond beautiful and on-point with the theme of the location, but it’s also a warm and inviting space, with a great host! We look forward to coming back to this space again very soon, thank you, Sarah!

    Alyson2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • The space was so cozy and had everything we needed. Everything is new updated and clean! Sarah was very accommodating to us and our dog! We felt right at home.

  • This place was the perfect getaway for us. Very cozy, clean and quiet. Great communication and quick responses plus easy check-in and check-out and helpful recommendations. This place had everything we wanted and we would definitely recommend and return.

  • Nice, clean accommodations, and a host who's quick to respond.

    Temima2019-12-15T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful space, very well-maintained, with everything you might need! It's very quiet but allows access to a lot of activities nearby. Sarah left detailed instructions, a much-needed bottle of wine, and was extremely responsive to me during my trip. She was also very flexible and checked up on me as a snowstorm hit when I was arriving. Despite a lot of snow, she had the driveway plowed in plenty of time to allow me to get out. The space was extremely clean, warm, and nicely decorated, and I'd love to return!

Come and unwind within the idyllic charm of Litchfield County. Relax in the spa or lounge by the pool and to take it all in. (Pool and spa will be reopened in March ‘20) We are located on a quiet country road just 2 miles out of the center of Litchfield and 1.5 miles from the Borough of Bantam.
Located close to it all but far enough away to enjoy a quiet night in. Come and enjoy local wineries antiquing, horseback riding, amazing restaurants and quaint local shops. Our home adorns a master bedroom suite which includes a private bathroom with a large jet tub and walk in shower, as well as a king size bed. Two additional bedrooms are located on the main living area with a shared full bath and full beds. The finished basement includes a large living area, bar, private full bath and a bedroom with a queen size bed.
  • We had a wonderful time in Litchfield. The home was absolutely beautiful; it was spacious, clean & comfortable. Not to mention the kitchen.... DREAM The pictures do not do this home justice, it far exceeded our expectations. The hosts were helpful and responsive both prior to arriving and while staying at their home. They gave lots of great recommendations prior to arrival so we could adequately plan our trip & when we had a question while already in CT were quick to answer and assist in our queries. We had a wonderful time and would, without hesitation both book this property again and suggest others do the same.

  • This is a special home. It's the kind of home that makes you wonder why you don't have a gorgeous CT home in a perfect town outside of the city. It was the most lovely weekend with friends. The town is beautiful in the fall and the hot tub is such a fun experience. This house is the perfect mix of cozy comfort with high-end amenities. The master bath is SO nice. Everything is clean and the check-in / check-out process could not be smoother. Plus, the hosts are so kind and responsive. They even sent us a list of fabulous recommendations catered to our group interests and needs. This is by far one of our most favorite and relaxing airbnb stays.

  • Great stay, probably will stay again! Neighborhood cat kept hanging around and even snuck in the house. And there was dog feces in the backyard. Downstairs bedroom has a full size not queen. Other than that everything was well advertised. The fireplace was awesome, hot tub was amazing. Master bedroom was huge! 9 of us total, plenty of room great time good value. 4.5 out of 5 stars.

Welcome to MaWink's House! The area has certainly developed since my German great grandparents bought this house over 65 years ago! But with four generations still living in the area and using this as our central meeting spot, we still lovingly refer to it as MaWink's house. The home, a stone built 'cottage' built at the turn of the century, is four bedrooms/three bathrooms and sits a hundred yards from our cabana and doc on scenic Lake Waramaug. THE UPSTAIRS * Master bedroom with a four post queen bed, private balcony to admire the perfect view of the lake, private sink, and a shared bathroom with... * Second large bedroom with stunning views of the lake, private sink and two twin beds and a bunk bed. THE DOWNSTAIRS: * renovated kitchen with back door entrance (leads to car parking area and garage) and breakfast bar. It's open plan with... * Large living room/dining area that includes a large flat screen TV, dvd player, stereo and collection of dvd's. * The front closed in porch (my favorite area!). There is a table that sits 6 where we usually eat and a sitting area to admire the views. * The den/library - a smaller room off of the living room with windows to the porch and a sleeper sofa for extra guests. * The back bedrooms/bathrooms: *** There are two cosy back bedrooms that we call MaWink and Gaga's rooms after my great grandmother and my great aunt. Always the host, MaWink never slept in the big bedroom upstairs, but instead kept that for her constant flow of guests coming to the house! MaWink's room is en suite with bathroom with shower and queen bed. There is an additional bathroom with full bath in the hallway for Gaga's room which has two single beds;) THE CABANA: With one of the few cleared views of the lake from the street we always have bikers and walkers stop to take a picture... but don't worry, the cabana is set below on the lake so you'll barely notice them! A two room open cabana with gas grill, fridge, prepping space and sitting area. Wood dock attached to the cement pier area. You can climb down to the 'beach (water height dependent ;) ) to play in the water or just get thrown in from the doc! Lots of comfy furniture including lounges, table and chairs and a outdoor couch! There are two kayaks for you to enjoy on beautiful Lake Waramaug. AMENITIES: Washer/dryer in basement full kitchen/appliances/dishes etc linen/towels/blankets included Digital Cable, Netflix, large DVD collection, stereo, telephone (cell phone reception is not great around here) Wireless internet THE AREA: We are based on Lake Waramaug, in Warren, CT. Litchfield county was ranked one of the top 1000 places in the WORLD to see before you die, and I can attest to it. With rolling hills, adorable villages, hikes, rivers, lakes, antiquing, art, fantastic restaurants... its a dream getaway only 1.5 hours from NYC. At the foot of the lake is New Preston, a small village filled with quaint antique shops, a couple lovely restaurants and a nice cafe/bakery. Kent town center is a ten minute drive and famous for its adorable high street and art scene. If you want to hang out with the townies (from the billionaires to the gas station attendant) head to GW's in Washington depot for great food, live music and plenty to drink. If you don't want to drive anywhere, take a five minute walk up the road to Hopkins Inn, restaurant and Hopkins Vinyard for some wine tasting and traditional Austrian cuisine. As a family we feel so lucky to have this home and while my mother now owns it (my grandparents, aunts and uncles all put their love, time and energy into the place so you might run into one of them as they mow the lawn or trim the hedges! I am now based in London (see my other listing) but I take every opportunity I can to head home for the tranquility of Mawink's house!
  • My wife and I stayed here with our two daughters and our family dog. We enjoyed the warmth of the house and were able to hang out together or retreat into one of the many rooms for some quiet time. The fireplace is great as is the view of the lake and the enclosed front porch. We'll be back in the warmer months and my return before then. Heidi and her Mother Leanne were gracious and attentive hosts. My over homework-ed daughter said "We need to come out here once a month" I shouldn't really endorse it so highly as I'd like to keep it under wraps. Lake Waramaug is an amazing spot & there aren't many rentals on it to be had - this is a gem.

  • Your home on Lake Waramaug is lovely! The views and location are amazing! Thank you for sharing your home. It made our Christmas extra special!

  • Wonderful home for our wedding weekend in CT! Excellent hosts and great spaces for lots of people to sleep comfortably. Incredible views and kitchen!! Thanks for opening up your home!

    Jodie2019-12-23T00:00:00Z
  • My friends and I felt right at home as soon as we walked into this beautiful cottage. It was very homey, clean, and comfortable. The views of Lake Waramaug were gorgeous! We enjoyed walking to Hopkins Winery and the Hopkins Inn for dinner. The host answered my inquiries immediately, and was very helpful with information. She made the check-in process very easy. At the end of the weekend, all of us wished we had more time at the cottage. I would highly recommended staying here.

    Eileen2019-10-21T00:00:00Z
  • This is a great place to stay. The house easily handled 8 of us and is clean and very well laid out. The location is fabulous and our stay by the lake is about as relaxing as one could ask. I highly recommend.

  • We enjoyed our stay on Lake Waramaug. The home had everything we needed, and was clean and comfortable. Great location!

  • What a beautiful lake house!! My partner and our family enjoyed our weekend up Heidi’s lakefront house SO much. The location is charming, peaceful, and has a stunning view. And the cabana and dock are perfect for BBQ’ing by the lake :) The house is well equipped - you can tell that it’s used by the family since there’s every kitchen utensil and amenity you can imagine! I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautiful lake house up in Litchfield County!

    Matt2019-05-28T00:00:00Z
  • My friends and I have stayed here two years in a row and haven’t been disappointed by any aspect. The house is ideal. Leeanne is easy to communicate with and helpful.
