A paradise in the woods!

We really enjoyed our stay at Sylvie‘s house! The outstanding interior design, the super relaxing natural surroundings and the great swimming pond made us not leave the house and its awesome garden for a whole week! Merely the kitchen could profit of some basic equipment additions like oil, salt and pepper. Apart from that everything was clean, cleverly designed and comfortable. The hosts Sylvie and Ronald were super nice, too. We absolutely recommend staying here!

We had a wonderful time in the beautiful house. The children enjoyed the garden and the pond. We are relaxing in the sauna ... many thanks for the hospitality!

Huis Lumen is a beautiful house surrounded by greenery. At the cottage is a wonderful swimming pond that we have used a few times. The sauna and the bath (with beautiful views) are also great. Finally, we were kindly received and all questions (questions) were answered quickly. In short, an address to remember. Sylvie thanks!

In this house you have breakfast on the lawn, so close you are the nature through the huge windows. Glorious. The equipment is fantastic, there are some fun games to discover. The staircase is suitable for children from 5 years. Sylvie is a very cheerful and obliging hostess. The place at the beautiful, water lily bathing pond is shared with her very nice family. A relaxed place, you can already hear the highway, but forget it quickly. So it is only a few meters from the lake to the large dining table. If you want and say early enough, the fridge is filled when you move in for breakfast, which is great luxury. A special place.

Fantastic location, very welcoming. The house with the huge windows gives you the feeling that you really live outside. A particularly beautiful architecture. The house is equipped with all the comfort you could wish for. Really a spa. Definitely recommended, .. we will come more often.

Very nice place with wonderful rural views that will completely relax you. We particularly liked the fire pit to light your fire in the evening. You can even sit outside dry and covered. In addition, delicious breakfast and the hospitality of Nelleke we found great! Thanks for that! Only downside for us were the many mosquitoes that kept us awake at night.

What a wonderful place Nelleke has created. On all sides you have the beautiful country of the Achterhoek and in the evening you can enjoy the last rays of sunshine in the cozy garden with a beer that is already waiting in the fridge. The family is very hospitable. The cottage is clean and tidy and in the morning the sandwiches hang on the door. We have only been 1 night but for us it felt like a real mini vacation in our own country! :)

At a beautifully situated location within walking distance of the city center of Zutphen you will be welcomed by a lovely host and lady. Who are involved and want to make your stay that little bit more enjoyable.

Incredibly warm welcome with a cup of tea. The location is great, there are free parking facilities in the area and everything else is easily accessible on foot. There is also a nice and warm atmosphere in the house. I also slept wonderfully, excellent bed! Hope to see you next time Lucia and Herman!

We (me, my daughter and our dog Molly) had a great stay in Ingrid's chalet. Super clean and a beautiful landscaped garden and some peace. You can hear the birds singing all day long. We will come back for sure.

Everything that has already been written turned out to be correct. Very nice, spacious and homely chalet, everything is there and it is very clean. Very well maintained, good bed. Ingrid is also a winner. It is very quietly located in a quiet recreation park outside the center in the green. I would like to come back again.

Nice lovely apartment. Ingrid’s place is located in a out of town picturesque camp about 3km from the train station in Vorden. The apartment is neat and well furnished with all the necessary amenities for a family to enjoy their vacation. It is equipped with television showing both family and children’s content, a kitchen with necessary utensils. It has no in-house washing or ironing facilities as you have to go to the camp reception and pay some money to use the washing machine and iron there. Lodgers need to prearrange taxis for pickup and some taxis can just drive slowly as to take up the taxi fare. Hire a car if you can to avoid unnecessary delays and disappointment. The only snag i had was the cleaning fee of which we cleaned the apartment expecting the entire fee to be refunded and still hopeful. Overall it’s a good place and i recommend it.

Ingrid is very attentive and kind person. Chalet is located in very nice place, it is clean, very well equipped and looks super. I'd like to give six stars as feedback, because 5 from 5 is not enough. It was really very big pleasure to stay here.

Our stay in Ingrid's house was exactly what we needed to catch our breath. Ideal for unwinding in the presence of beautiful nature. Many sights and activities in the area to do. A lot of information is also available in the chalet itself. Warm and personal welcome and the necessary understanding with regard to changes in the program. We would like to come back sometime!

The space that Elly rented is within walking distance 700 m from the station, exactly what they had given up, close to the center, about 300 m from the house, then you are already in the city. The bus stops in both directions are also close to the house. It is spotless, a great bed, microwave, coffee maker, tea, and TV are available. The bathroom is there, basically everything in the house is spotless, and looks fresh, so does the bathroom! A wonderful shower, there is always hot water, in other words, everything is complete. Also a royal breakfast, with everything you could wish for! The balcony is pleasant not only to sit, but the view of the river Berkel and the surroundings is romantic and quiet, every day whisper boats sail along the back garden, with butterflies in it, in a word very beautiful! I had a really good time in Zutphen, at Marloes's place. I felt welcome. The room is so close to the city center, to the train station and everything. I slept really well because it was so calm... and in the morning I could use the coffee machine in my room. Marloes is a really nice person and we had some nice conversations! I would recommend it and come again!

It is a simple but good room to the garden, so quiet. In summer it must be very nice to do "Fiets" excursions from here along the Jissel. Marloes was a pleasant, always accessible, always discreet landlady

excellent Hostess with compassionate character and good facilities even surprisingly a bathrobe. Beautiful view over the Uiterwaarden with the Sky-line from Ijsselkade and the towers such as the st. Walburgis church, the spire of which burned down exactly 70 years ago today -I read comments about smoking and the cat ... Personally, as an ex-smoker and animal lover, I didn't experience any problems or inconvenience. -evt. point of "attention" = stay with your cup and the coffee maker to turn off in time before it floods = luckily not happened. But if you do not use an advanced device like myself = be careful. (hahaha) .. Great Bakkie. You sleep wonderfully on Marloes her airbnb crib. Fantastic stay.

It is a beautiful and well-kept guest address, in a quiet area, with beautiful historic towns just a stone's throw away. The communication with the owners is warm and friendly. Checking in is smooth. Tip: go to museum More in Ruurlo and Gorssel.

For our first mini vacation with our baby (3 months) we spent three nights in the house. We enjoyed it very much! The cottage is tastefully and cosily furnished with a nice large bathroom. There is a kettle and coffee maker, no further kitchen or fridge. That was fine for us, but good to realize. The bed is a box spring with a somewhat soft mattress, you have to love that. The garden is beautiful and the breakfast in the beautiful farm of Helene and Joost was delicious. Also very attractively served in the country style. There is not much to do in Voorst, but you are a short distance from both Zutphen and Deventer. The supermarket of Voorst is within walking distance. We had a great time in Voorst!

The cottage is exactly as in the pictures with a comfortable bed and spacious bathroom and private terrace. Breakfast is well cared for with products from our own garden, egg if you want. Everything is fine! Hélène is a very pleasant and hospitable host.

Alexandra was a very friendly and courteous host. The room is lovingly furnished, the beds comfortable and everything is clean and tidy. The location of the room is great too.

Wonderful place to relax. Nice old house which breathes a warm atmosphere. If you like peace in a city, this place is perfect! Of course you can hear sounds from the street, but especially the space itself, very nice. And of course Alexandra for her warm reception.

I really enjoyed staying in an old house. i liked to sit close to the gas stove. that everything was made of wood and other natural material was a big plus. it felt very good and I felt completely at ease there.

Rieke and Wim are great hosts. Our stay was wonderful. The accommodation is perfect for a family with a child located next to the farm and on the edge of the forest. The site is quiet relaxing with bike paths and ballad around. Rieke was full of little touches (biscuit, carrot garden etc.). She was able to advise us places to visit (market day, city, swimming pool ...). It was perfect. Our best BNB air. We advise without hesitation.

We really enjoyed the stay. Everything was fine. The cottage is spotless, practically furnished, and complete. It is beautifully situated on the edge of a field where various vegetables are grown. It offers a wide view of the west, so if you sit outside, you can see the sun setting beautifully in nice weather. Highly recommended if you like peace.

Zutphen is a great litle city with over 400 buildings dating feom before 1500. The b&b is from 1300 and that's the real magic.

Riana’s house is quirky and spacious; we only stayed for 2 nights but our children loved exploring the house and it’s many levels! The stairs are steep but it wasn’t a problem for us. We had everything we needed (apart from a cheese grater!) and enjoyed a comfortable stay. Parking is a few minutes’ walk from the house and costs €8.50 per day - not too much of a problem for a short stay, and we parked at the house to unload / load, but the weather was not great during our stay so it would have been better to have the car a little closer. Communication with Riana was really easy and she accommodated our requests and answered all our questions quickly. The house is excellently located for exploring Zutphen and we would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the area.

We have been received very hospitably with fresh cake and pie. The house is beautiful and exudes history. Right in the center. Well worth a visit. We enjoyed the cozy interior and the many beautiful Flora prints.

We had a very nice weekend at Riana's house! The house itself is attractive and spacious, in addition, it is in a perfect location right in the center. Upon arrival, a delicious home-made cake was waiting for us, very thoughtful!

Esther and Paul have turned their old chicken barn into a super nice studio. In the evening you can light a nice fire in the wood stove. During the day when the weather is nice you can sit comfortably in your own garden.

A nice / cozy furnished house in a beautiful setting. You will not lack anything. You can also walk very nicely and you are very close to the center of Zutphen, which is certainly a nice city to visit. We had a nice weekend there.

We didn't even want to leave the house, so we planned a game evening with the heater on. The city is nearby, less than 10 minutes' walk. Good location with nice views. It is a cozy, comfortable and fully furnished apartment. It is wonderfully quiet and you can make fantastic walks directly from the cottage. We were warmly welcomed by Wim and he kindly assisted us. In addition to various tourist information, the cottage also contained a cycling and walking map of the area. Very nice! It is a top location and we would like to come back here again.

The Rose Cottage is a truly beautiful home. Silvia and Hugo are very warm, welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and bountiful. We enjoyed our stay very much.

My wife and I had a wonderful night at the Silvia's house. Silvia was a really great host and I'd recommend everyone to visit her house and have this unbelievable experience. The room we stayed at is located at the third floor, it was big, well equipped and perfectly clean. Also we had our private bathroom. We had everything we needed for the breakfast in fridge, like cheese, ham, tea, coffee, etc.

Silvia and Hugo are really nice and welcoming people. Sadly it was raining in the morning so we couldn't enjoy our breakfast in their beautiful garden, but we still had a really nice stay. The bathroom under the roof is somewhat less practical for tall people but our room and bed were very comfortable. Hope to go back on a more sunny weekend!

Room with sink., Shower cabin on the same floor, the toilet is downstairs. Everything is there for cooking. Counter top is extremely low (so that became training leg muscles while cooking). There are two excellent single beds with excellent mattress. We did not get out in the area. There are also many possible routes for cyclists. There are some other houses in the area, but you have plenty of privacy.

Het Strokapje is a wonderful place to stay, in total tranquility. Even with less weather (as I have now experienced), you are sitting here warm and cozy, and you can see the hares, blue tits and robins pass through the window. The cottage is small but fully equipped, including a tick pincer (very thoughtful). I really like to come here.

Perhaps the most beautiful holiday home we have ever stayed in, balm for the romantic soul. Beautiful walking environment and lots to see in the area. The communication went very well.

A more than wonderful place to put all your worries into perspective, to relax and, after a few days here, to go on with good cheer. A very nice area where it is nice to cycle. But the place itself was enough for us. Almost a shame to leave him.

Wonderful place! Tastefully decorated, spotless and fully equipped. In the middle of nature and close to Zutphen, sauna Bussloo and Deventer.

A super stay, especially very cozy and completely complete. For us a great base for a day of golf, a day at the Bussloo thermal baths and a day of cycling. Beautiful surroundings . In short, a top airbnb!

It is a nice quiet spacious place. Everything is neat and clean and you lack nothing. You will be welcomed very warmly with your own baked cake. You have privacy and if you want you can watch the company. Karin and Jaap are very hospitable people.

We spent four wonderful days with Karin. Top equipped apartment, just renovated, with a view of the countryside. In the country, completely quiet and with privacy. Nearby you can walk and cycle well. We didn't come back again for nothing, and now for almost a whole week. Everything was fine again.

Everything is right in this municipal monument. The living room with built-in kitchen is spacious and tastefully decorated. We lacked nothing. The beds are very comfortable. The garden around the house looks cozy with a seating area that offers a beautiful view of the country. Karin and her husband are very friendly and attentive. Definitely recommended!

The part of the mansion that Marianne makes available through Airbnb is more than fine for a few nights in Zutphen. The living / sleeping area is very spacious, has a high ceiling (plus associated windows) and is attractively furnished. The small, extra room is especially handy because of the sink and fridge. Unfortunately I did not see Marianne herself, but partly due to the smooth, extensive support at a distance ("If you just have questions or call?") I had two nice, carefree days in Zutphen. Oh yes, if you (like me) get on the bike: you can safely park it downstairs in the hall.

I would prefer to keep the existence of B&B De Roode Haan as a secret so that I could go there whenever I wanted. But with that I would do Annelie's shortage, who received me very warmly and put everything down to food, drinks and snacks, so that I would lack nothing.

This b & b is completely complete and more! Annelies, the hostess, is very attentive. Nice reception. Spotless. A welcome sign with our names on it. Eat and drink anything. With even a bottle of wine in the fridge. The location is perfect. Parking (cheap) at the Houtwal within walking distance. We think the people in Zutphen are very nice and accessible. Beautiful town. The apartment is just as beautiful in the advertisement. The location is ideal for cycling trips in the direction of Bronkhorst, Vorden or Deventer. Junction 75 is close by. Furthermore, it is ideal that you walk into the cozy city center from this apartment. A must for people traveling alone!

Attractive and spacious apartment in the center of Zutphen. What a beautiful old town! What we found ideal for a stay of a few nights was the generously stocked fridge, so you have nothing to worry about. A nice bottle of 'Huiswijn' with a picture of the beautiful house finished it. Really super thoughtful. Felt like pampering!

An overnight stay in the tiny house of the wonderful hostess Charlotte. A whole experience in a house where everything has been thought of, where everything is present and super clean. Highly recommended in a beautiful, quiet area.

Photos depict the house well. It was 20-25 minutes by bike from Zutphen station. Within walking and cycling distance of the More museum. There are great opportunities for a nice walk in the woods. Or, just enjoy this comfortable house in a great location with a beautiful garden! Also suitable for children.

We stayed here over Christmas, close to family living in the village. It is a wonderfully quite and cosy place to stay, really enjoyed it, and the kids too!

Particularly nice place among the trees and warm atmosphere. Very pleasant fast communication and lovely helpful hostess. We received many tips and felt very welcome. Really no points for improvement, so many surprisingly nice details. Such as heat socks with a message;) Christmas lights in the house and the garden, nice tea and coffee, spotlessly clean incl delicious Rituals products in the shower.
