  • Walters place is very nice and stylish and extremely comfy and was much much better than I expected. Walter left very thoughtful things and even left cookies 🍪 by my bed for when I came home. I would recommend Walter and his place to anyone. My son and his girlfriend really enjoyed themselves and we even saw animals running in the yard in the morning

  • Mary had a nice, clean spot for a good place to rest. I was in town only for the night as I was taking a speciality test in Concord at a Prometric center. Only 10 minutes from the testing site. It was a good spot to get to bed early, take a warm shower in the morning, and have a cup of coffee. She had a nice selection of Keurigs and a refrigerator to keep food in overnight.

I do wish there was cooking access but there is allot of eateries less than a mile away. The room was very cozy and the bed was wonderful. The bath although shared is lovely and clean! Enjoyed my stay for sure.

  • Mary is the best Air BnB host I’ve ever had. She bends over backwards to accommodate any and all of your needs. The room I had was quaint, cozy, and clean - exactly as it was advertised online. I had several fantastic conversations with Mary, and I’ll be sure to stay there again next time I am in Concord!

You will be staying in 1884 New Englander wth plenty of places to walk and hike nearby. Your room is comfortable, spacious and restful. It's the sort of place that will renew you after a day out playing or a day at a conference. Many guests have stayed here while looking for permanent housing in the area or as a place to live while in Concord for a week or more. Concord is central to NH and a great place to stay when you want mountains, beach and comfort all in one day.
I live at the intersection of North State Street, Fisherville Road and Sewall Falls Road. This neighborhood was created in the 1880's and has many single family houses. There are sidewalks for walking and gardens to explore plus many good eateries close by. And you just might see deer eating grass in my backyard.

  • Mary's place is great especially for students. It's close enough to downtown and the highway so you're not traveling way out of the way to get there. She has a nice common room upstairs with a mini fridge and coffee maker. The bed was quite comfortable and the shower has good water pressure. Overall a nice and affordable place to stay!

  • Incredibly clean and beautiful space. Ed and his wife are also extremely hospitable. The floor can be extremely cold in the winter, so bring slippers if you can!

    Greg2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Traveled up for a relaxing Valentine’s weekend getaway/ski trip. Ed, Cindy, and Miss Charlotte (their sweet dog) are wonderful hosts who live on a beautiful farm; the view from the apartment was amazing. Everything is as advertised (full kitchen & bath, queen sized bed, and washer and dryer, etc.) and the space is well kept and clean. There are a lot of great recommendations for places to visit nearby in the house manual. Mount Sunapee state park is within a 25 min drive and a very fun place to ski in the winter. Overall, this is a perfect cozy place to relax in the mountains.

    Neal2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • When we arrived, in the cold dark winter night, we were happy just to have someplace warm to stay. We were happy to find out that all the reviews were right. The views are awesome, the location is perfect, and the place is super comfortable and clean. We hope to come back soon.

    Nick2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Cindy and Ed were amazing hosts! The apartment was beautiful and very quiet. It was a very much needed weekend getaway. Thank you for your hospitality and kindness! We look forward to returning in the future.

  • It was our second time at Ed's place because we enjoyed our stay here very much the first time. Ed is kind and accommodating, the place is very clean, cosy and very tastefully furnished and decorated. I can highly recommend this place, we also look forward to planning our next stay here.

    David2019-12-27T00:00:00Z

Wi-Fi was solid, I was easily able to get work done! Overall, I would 100% recommend their place, so much so, I already have booked my upcoming stay in Summer.

  • Great place to camp! Dennis and his wife are lovely people. There is a clean bathroom, outdoor shower and a common room inside their bed and breakfast that you can use their keureg, use a real bathroom and hang out during the day time. My wife and I had a great experience!

    Will2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • A dream for any camper on the road looking for a quaint, quiet stay! We pitched our tent right alongside a small garden, fire pit, and an apple tree. Dennis offers an outdoor shower and sink as well as the cleanest and freshest outdoor toilet I’ve ever encountered! Access to some of the amenities inside the guesthouse make this such an outstanding value. Be sure to check the rich history of the town of Acworth as well as the house itself! Would stay here again anytime!

    Nicole2019-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • We could not have been more pleased with this space! The gardens and yard are so beautiful and Dennis was amazingly kind---hospitality through the roof! He went out of his way many times to make sure we were comfortable, above and beyond what we expected for just camping out back of a guesthouse. This place is such a treat, don't miss staying here!!

The toddler bed was perfect for our 4 y.o. as well as some toy available in the suite. There is a couch that was very comfortable to relax after a busy day. We appreciated thoughtful items for our use during our stay. The communication for the check-in was very clear and timely.

Try the tiny life! Adorable tiny home on wheels, built on a 22’ trailer. Nestled in Hill, NH, but with so much to do...We are 8 miles from Ragged Mountain Ski Resort, 26 miles from White Mountain National Forest, and just a few feet away from snowmobile trails that extend all the way into Canada. Please visit our website littlehouseintheboro to learn more.
The tiny house is parked near our barn, off a quiet dirt road in Hill, NH. It includes a kitchen with the basics, a small bathroom with shower and rv-style toilet, a queen bed in the loft, and a twin bed on the main floor. We rarely use AC, but there is a window unit and also an electric fireplace for cool evenings. We haven’t yet figured out how to get cable and WiFi down to the tiny house. The TV has a DVD player and HDMI port. Depending on what cell service you have, reception may or may not be good. That being said, the outdoors is why most people visit, so we hope you won’t miss the technology.
The beauty of central NH is beyond compare. Lakes, rivers, mountains, forests... We really have it all!
  • Beautiful, quiet property. Gorgeous tiny house and excellent hosts. Far enough away, but close enough if you want a nice dinner or drinks...Amenities are great - a nice little surprise! We had a great time and will be recommending the tiny house to our friends!

    Kammie2019-10-19T00:00:00Z
  • Barbara’s Tony house was an absolute perfect little getaway. It was very spacious even for being a tiny house. It had great amenities. Highly recommend anyone who wants to experience a tiny house this is the one to try out !

    Anthony2019-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • I had a blast living the tiny life! Barb provided everything you could imagine to make it a home away from home. If you’re new to the area, there’s a binder with plenty of restaurant suggestions to check out. It’s located in a beautiful, peaceful area and I’ll surely be coming back.

    Katherine2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • First experience with a tiny home and it was more than needed. The beds were so comfortable and the amenities are plenty! The host was very thoughtful and intentional with communication and recommendations, which we really appreciated. *We strongly suggest following the written out directions even though they seem cumbersome instead of putting address in GPS. For us, the GPS kept taking us through the literal forest, not a real road.* Lovely spot to stay in especially in the fall!!

  • Barbara is a great host. I arrived to find a plant gracing the reception table and a bowl of fresh fruit. So very welcoming. She checked in to be sure I didn’t need anything or have any questions. The fall scenery was magnificent.

Recently renovated apartment in historic house in the middle of charming Sunapee. Minutes to skiing in winter (deck view of Mt Sunapee) and state park beach in summer, walking distance to harbor. Very quiet, end of street surrounded by woods! Hear summer concerts in the park from the deck. 40 minutes' drive from Concord, Hanover; 30 from Claremont, 60 from Manchester airport. Looking for guests who will respect the property and other tenants. We prefer not to have children under ten years old.
Cozy finished attic apartment in 100 year-old three-family house. One bedroom with king bed, chair in living space folds down into a cot/bed. The couch can also convert into a bed.
Beautiful, quiet, private location with easy access to the best of the Sunapee area. Great location for short-term tenants working or in school anywhere from Hanover to Concord.
  • A nice little place with a good view of the river and hills, quiet but not far from plenty of things to do and good places to eat. The apartment was sparklingly clean and we'll furnished.

COVID 19 PRECAUTIONS: No extra people come and go from the property, and your space is TOTALLY DISINFECTED (all bedding included) between Airbnb guests. Feel free to message with any questions. I look forward to welcoming you! Your 'trainer's suite' is a totally private room and connected full bath. Twin beds have comfy mattresses, "My Pillows", and soft, upscale linens. Coffee/tea always available. I am happy to arrange tours of the Miniature Horse barn and paddocks. Bring your camera!
The Trainer’s Suite, encompassing a bedroom and full bath, is on the private 2nd floor off of an interior walkway overlooking the open concept living areas of the house. The bedroom has comfy twin beds and room enough to plunk a child on an air mattress on the floor. The full bath, complete with skylight, is yours and yours alone. The suite is decorated with pictures, ribbons, and trophies from 55 years of equine events.
We are in a lovely, wooded residential area, where our 10 acres and 20 Miniature Horses are well hidden from the road. Summers are pleasant due to the tree canopy and location on a hill; autumns are spectacular; winters are……..well, winter, but the Town of Bow is topnotch with road care. The property is located on one of the many area deer paths, and depending on the season, you are very likely to see the wild turkeys that also use the path, and even an occasional moose or bear.
  • Cindy is a wonderful host, and the space is very cozy — clean, warm, and comfortable. Cindy was happy to let us spend some time with the horses. We’d absolutely go back. It was a truly relaxing, exceptionally pleasant stay. Thanks so much, Cindy.

    Brooke2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • The horses are so fun to see! Cindy is very responsive.

    Kelly2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • There is a saying my husband and I use when we feel we are at an exceptional place. “Comfy,Cozy and Content “. That is what I felt at Cindy’s home. I had a great nights sleep on a very comfortable bed with an excellent pillow and sheets. Nice hot shower in the morning with great towels. I wish I had had time to have coffee in the morning that she supplies but this was a quick overnight due to a snowstorm. And she also had me park under cover so I did not have to clean my car before going to work ! Much appreciated !

    Debby2020-02-13T00:00:00Z
  • So cute, had so much fun staying here!

    Julie2020-02-12T00:00:00Z
  • This is a lovely, cozy place, with the smell of the woods and fresh hay. Spotlessly clean, thoughtful communication. I recommend this place highly.

    Bas2020-02-11T00:00:00Z
  • A special place with a fabulous host...and miniature horses to boot! Everything from start to finish was a pleasure. Cindy is a clear, timely, humorous communicator. The bedroom/bathroom suite was perfect--clean, comfortable, quiet, and warm (we were there on a cold snowy winter night). We were treated to some quality time with her incredible miniature horses, which we had requested in advance (highly recommend!). She pointed us in the right direction about local restaurants and driving conditions. She went out of her way to allow us an especially early checkout time of 3:30 a.m. and thought of everything we would need for that special exit time in advance. Unless you don't like dogs (she has two sweet rescue dogs who sometimes bark briefly around strangers--but they are otherwise quiet and she is very careful to keep them away from the guest area and guest's belongings ), you will be very glad you stayed here. Cindy could not have been more helpful or gracious.

    Suzi2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • Cindy has the kindest heart and it will be an amazing stay!

    Stina2020-02-07T00:00:00Z
  • Cindy is a welcoming host and her home is in a peaceful setting about 10 minutes from downtown Concord. The 2nd floor bedroom is basic with 2 separate twin beds, a closet and a dresser and the adjoining bath is large. No TV, easy chair or desk but very clean and cozy. High speed WiFi is offered. Fresh coffee and her famous pumpkin bread are a nice touch in the morning.

This Lake Sunapee Region cabin retreat is perfect for romantics, artists, writers, outdoor enthusiasts, gardeners, friends, & family. Centrally located between the area's best lakes and mountains, convenient to area attractions, and outdoor activities. Still, the cabin feels like a destination in itself, where you can relax, recharge, and reconnect. Cozy up by the stone fireplace, relax on the porch, see nature, read, listen, play, cook, stargaze, and enjoy just being! M&R license #: 063685
The cabin has a cozy open concept with the kitchen, dining, and living areas flowing together around a center chimney. The fully equipped kitchen includes a full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, and beautiful vintage cast iron LP cookstove. If you are uncomfortable using an LP gas cookstove, a two-burner hotplate is available. The kitchen also has a dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, french press (coffee and tea provided), toaster, cookware, drinkware, and serving ware. The dining area features a full-size table with extra leaf, and seating for up to 6 guests. The cabin has beautiful pine wood floors with several area rugs throughout. Enjoy the beauty of the fieldstone chimney combined with the clean convenience and warmth of a propane fireplace. Relax in the cozy living room, comfortably furnished with a large sectional including a chaise lounge and pull out queen bed. An old writing desk inspires as it sits in front of the large picture window overlooking the gardens, and still enjoys the prominent coziness of the fireplace. The full bath on the first floor has a deep clawfoot tub with rain-showerhead and all the essentials. The two bedrooms are furnished with a comfortable queen-size bed, dressed with soft linens, and plenty of pillows, each room has a bureau and an area to hang clothing. One bedroom has a locking door, while the other has a private opening. Each of the cozy bedrooms has at least one fan, and in the summer months, an air conditioner. Enjoy a variety of books, games, and puzzles. Listen to music, audiobooks, or your favorite podcast through the Bluetooth lantern speaker. Yoga mats and beach towels are also available. Private yoga classes are available for an additional fee, ask for details. Surrounded by gardens and nestled in the woods on three private acres, the cabin is distant to neighboring houses, barely visible through the trees. It mostly feels like a sanctuary. Dappled sunlight dances through the trees during the day. The spacious porch with ceiling fans and plenty of seating is the perfect place to take it all in. The 30” charcoal grill is waiting for your inner grill master. A five-foot dining table with umbrella and four cushioned chairs offers another option for dining out. During summer months, guests may enjoy in-season fresh herbs like basil, thyme, oregano, and dill, and a variety of fruits and vegetables as they ripen in the complimentary guest garden.
Bradford is a quiet and quaint town centrally located to all the best area attractions.
  • Alecia was a wonderful host. From her endearing and warm welcome, to her ability to foresee that all our needs would be met, she had everything covered! The cabin was extremely clean. It was also very quaint with many personal touches and lovely antiques. Furthermore, it was well-stocked with many comforts - fluffy towels, comfy couch, cozy blankets, home made “welcome” cake and very comfortable beds! Her welcome book was informative and thorough and included places to visit and local restaurants and stores. I will be back to visit, hopefully during another season so I can enjoy what that time of year brings.

    Monique2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • I feel Alecia deserves to be called a Mega Superhost. She clearly loves people and providing them with an unforgettable stay at her cabin. I have never been so spoiled anywhere! She went out of her way to make celebrating our wedding anniversary even more special. The cabin itself is comfortable and adorable. It's hidden away in the mountains, private and secluded. (There is no cell service on the mountain, so download your maps ahead of time!) The trails in the area are gorgeous, most notably the Andrew Brook trail (be prepared for steep climbs but an amazing view). We would certainly love to return to this area an explore more, and of course the only place we would want to stay is Alecia's!

    Ashley2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • An amazing gem! You won’t be disappointed!

    John2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Alecia’s place is wonderful! A group of friends and I wanted a relaxing weekend in a quant cabin and this was exactly that. Alecia went as far as making us freshly baked muffins and talking us through how to change the setting on the fireplace so that we were warm overnight when the temperatures dropped below zero. We were so cozy we didn’t even notice the temperature drop. Highly recommend this place.

    Christina2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Cozy cabin with all the comforts of home. We enjoyed our escape to Bradford.

    Kem2020-02-07T00:00:00Z
  • Alecia's hospitality was unmatched. She met us upon arrival and gave a thorough tour including great suggestions for local dining and hiking. Every corner of the cabin was filled with homey touches. We loved the fireplace, lighting, comfy beds and cool stove. We hope to visit again.

    Jane2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • What more can I say than we hated to leave. A perfect spot to de stress and reconnect with each other! So many thoughtful touches! Cozy, charming, relaxing, quiet, romantic, we loved our stay in the cabin. Escapism at its best!

    Paula2020-01-09T00:00:00Z
  • I have been using Airbnb for past 5 years and Alecia’s place is by far the best place I have stayed. Her place isn’t a place where you just go to sleep and spend the night. You will feel like home. Everything that a home requires, her place has it. It’s a cozy place and she decorated the place perfectly and thoughtfully. Highly recommended. She is an amazing host. Very communicative and helpful.

There are several lakes in the area with public access including the biggest, Lake Sunapee. A lovely, relaxing and beautiful place to stay any time of year.

  • We came up for a little weekend getaway. There were 4 of us that just wanted to enjoy some peace and quiet, cook some food and just hang out. Everything was perfect. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances, cookware and the basic necessities. Overall, I was in love with the way the home is decorated. Very comfy and cozy, but super updated as well. The beds were very comfortable with soft sheets and a comforter - super soft pillows and an extra blanket. The bathroom was great with some amenities as well in case you may have forgotten any at home. Towels, etc all were there. Clean and comfortable from top to bottom! Beautiful mountain views as you enjoy your coffee while looking out all the windows that go from one end of the house to the other. Even watched several deer grazing in the morning AND 2 moose! Can’t wait to go back again!

The location is in a quiet neighborhood about 20 minutes from Concord. The room was perfect and we had access to the kitchen and washer and dryer for free. An attached apartment in our home. It has a different entrance from our usual entrance, though you'll walk through our woodshop and storage area on the way to your room. Almost all of our guests have commented how clean it is. There is a very steep staircase with a sturdy railing, but some guests will find it hard to navigate. Make sure read the check-in instructions and wifi password, since sometimes guests' phones don't work when they get here (particularly t-mobile).
You will be staying in our "apartment" as we call it, though there isn't a separate kitchen area, though the bathroom has a large sink, so we've had long-term guests who cook use the sink for dishes, etc. If you are staying with more than two guests, there is an queen air mattress that we can provide as well. If you want to use the air mattress with just two guests, please choose three guests when reserving, and it will charge an extra $5 since we'll be washing two sets of sheets for you. It has a separate access to the house through the garage and a private bathroom. If want to reserve within the 48 hours, that it most likely fine. In general, we want more notice, but most times of the year, it will be fine and we'll likely see your request quickly, so go ahead and send the request.
We chose to live close to downtown to be able to walk to various things. We live in a small town of 6,000 people, and I'd guess a majority of them either know me or at least my name. We love small-town New England. Most will greet you as you walk down the street. Many properties in our area are in 1/2 acre lots and the immediate surrounding houses were built in the 1890s. We are walking distance to restaurants, bars, churches, a walking trail through the woods, the school playground and ball fields, library. Many people in the town drive, but there are a few of us who walk and bike. The main grocery store is a long walk or short drive away. There is a free, public beach 2-3 miles away with some rafts, nice sand, a boat launch, and a fishing area. In the winter, there is an outside ice skating rink within walking distance, and two small ski resorts ~10 miles away. Extending to 25 miles away, there are numerous mountains to climb and small cities with various conveniences. Let me know if you want restaurant recommendations. We have a bunch in town, some seasonal and I can let you know what I recommend. Cell phone service is good, with the exception of T-Mobile, which I don't think works anywhere near here.
  • Good

  • A budget friendly and a good room for two people. The host respects our privacy a lot. It is a shared room in their home but has separate entrance so we can enter and exit at our own will. I would definitely prefer to stay at Jon’s place the next time I come to Hillsborough. I strongly recommend this place.

    Bharadwaj2019-08-12T00:00:00Z
  • This spot is perfect for a quick overnight. It is a very clean, above-garage apartment. Basic accommodations but all one really needs! The host was exceptional at communicating and I was thankful for that at 10:30pm when I still hadn’t received instructions from Airbnb on how to enter the property. Luckily, Jon was very quick to reply and sent me the relevant information.

In the heart of Sunapee Harbor is “Topside”, a charming suite for guests who want to engage in the active Sunapee life. Topside is perfect for 2 people and cozy for 4. An efficient use of space offers a queen sized bed, pull out love seat couch(fourth sleeping area is a single-sized air mattress), kitchenette stocked with snacks and basic cooking needs, private bathroom, Wi-Fi, Smart TV, board games, and your own tree-top deck. Very clean, stylish, and comfortable!
Topside is a CLEAN space - after each guest stay we thoroughly wash and sanitize all linens, towels and surfaces to protect our in-coming guests. Your health is important to us!! During your time at Topside, we provide an activities guide for some ideas of "what to do" in the region. In the summer, enjoy a 2 minute stroll to the harbor and taste from the award-winning seasonal restaurants, while sitting on the town patio watching boats come and go. Walk or drive the 1 mile to private Dewey Beach for swimming and all forms of small boating. Or, bring your own boat to launch right in the harbor and park your trailer in our convenient driveway! For hikers, trail runners, or bikers, over 100 miles of a trail network system starts right out our driveway. In the winter, a 10 minute drive brings you to one of the most guest-centered ski mountains in New England. The “We Are Sunapee” experience excels in offering ski and riding instruction at The Learning Center. There are trails for all levels of skiers or riders, with excellent ski lodge accommodations.
We bought our home in Sunapee Harbor in the fall of 2017, envisioning sharing our “Common Cottage” and grounds with family, friends, and guests. The house was built in the early 1900s as a ship captain’s home for one of the captains of the steamers which brought early vacationers from the southern end of the lake to Sunapee Harbor. We imagine the guests on those steamers setting foot on the harbor dock and breathing in the fresh clean air, hearing the lapping of the pristine water, and feeling the sun on their backs. We also imagine our house captain smiling at the joy his venture brought to harbor guests. Wanting to carry that heritage forward, the heart of Common Cottage is to provide a place for people to engage in meaningful experiences.
  • A fantastic Airbnb property! Lisa and Peter are terrific, thoughtful hosts. Check-in/out simple and communication was clear and timely. Spotlessly clean, stylish, every comfort and detail considered. Location to local ski/snowboard resorts can't be beat. Had a great overnight stay and would do so again without hesitation.

  • Topside is super clean, cozy and has all of the amenities you will need! Lisa supplied a lot of snacks and information for surrounding things to do and see. She replied quickly to any messages and made us feel at home! Highly recommend and will be staying there again in the near future!!

  • Perfect spot during my snowboarding trip. Incredibly clean and organized. Breakfast basics stocked in the fridge, comfortable setting, cozy comfortable apartment. Small touches like travel sized toiletries in case you forgot something and phone chargers. Wonderful Airbnb can’t wait to stay here again.

  • My son and I decided to stay here since we had an early morning arrival at Mount Sunapee for a ski race. The convenient location was what we were looking for, but we would definitely return for an even longer stay since it was a wonderful and comfortable place to stay. Lisa was great to communicate with, her check-in instructions and driving details made our arrival very simple, even at night. The studio apartment has everything you need, and the small kitchen was perfect for us to make a quick breakfast before leaving. We did not meet the hosts, but plenty of information is left for the guests to get to know the Sunapee area.

    Kristin2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Lisa is an amazing host who put a lot of thought into the space. My partner and I had a wonderful time, and would definitely go back!

Kearsarge, who could want more? Canoe and kayak out into the lake (boats provided), or fish for smallmouth bass, pickerel, and perch from the dock. Spend evenings catching fireflies and roasting marshmallows around the fire pit. In the winter enjoy downhill skiing at Mt Sunapee & Ragged Mountain, ice fishing, and unlimited backcountry (XC) skiing & snowshoeing. Spend evenings cozied up by the wood stove with a glass of wine. The cabin has one bedroom with a queen bed on the first floor. A wooden ladder with handrails up to a half-floor loft area offers a shared space with an additional queen bed and a full bed. Individuals staying in the loft should be nimble-bodied. The cabin offers robust and fast internet at 300/300 mbps so bring your laptops! There is intentionally no standalone TV in the cabin, in an effort to keep the cabin a sanctuary in which to unplug. A selection of books and board games are available for your enjoyment. • Quaint, beautiful, and quiet area. Definitely need 4 wheel drive to get to the house, which made it even cooler! Super nice and updated interior. Fabulous spot on the lake as well and close to Ragged Mountain and a few cool breweries for those who enjoys local brews! Our family of 4 plus our dog enjoyed ourselves immensely!

  • Clean, quiet, location with a terrific view and all the privacy you could ask for. We look forward to returning

    David2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • What a great cozy cabin on the lake we had four adults and one child comfortably in this nice cabin very clean with all the amenities including a lot of privacy and quietness right on the lake in this time of year people icefishing. I stay in a lot of airbnb’s and Alexander has been one of the best hosts so far very sweet quick to respond in very Willing to help out with whatever you need definitely look forward to coming back sometime soon hopefully in the summertime!

    Doug2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • The house was just what me and my family were looking for to unplug and unwind! The house was perfectly clean when we arrived and had all the things we needed to cook and make coffee which was a plus! There were plenty of trails and mountains to explore nearby which was perfect for us. Alexandra also left an awesome list of places to hike nearby and places to eat for all meals which came in handy. The decor cute and the cabin had a super cozy vibe me and my family enjoyed. I would 10/10 recommend a stay here if you’re looking for a great little getaway!

    Jennie2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Alexandra's cabin is awesome! It is a nature retreat. It's a perfect place for a family with kids to unplug and enjoy the surrounding nature. The cabin gets nice and warm quickly, and has everything you need to cook and enjoy. The location is just minutes away from skiing and hiking areas. Communication with Alexandra was clear, easy, and timely. She responded to all our questions and gave us lots of hiking suggestions. We all, including our 13 y.o. son, enjoyed hiking in the area and absolutely loved the cabin. We highly recommend this place!!! We hope to come back there again!

    Ksenia2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin was perfect for what we needed. It was clean and comfortable. It is not large and if someone is sleeping in the loft, you need to be able to get up the ladder. For its size, it is well laid out. The host was amazing. Fabulous communication and gracious.

    Leann2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Located a few minutes from Ragged mountain, Alex's cabin was the perfect place for our family to come back to after a long day of skiing. It's incredibly cozy and the interior appears professionally designed (although I am no expert). The host Alex is very attentive over text message and phone in answering questions and giving recommendations, but she lives remotely, so we truly had the place all to ourselves which is what we wanted. The cabin is lakefront and we could see people ice fishing out on the lake in the mornings. Behind the cabin is all natural forest so even though you are just 5 minutes from town, you feel like you are really out there. In terms of getting to the cabin, we had no problems using our phone GPS. The road is partially dirt, but we had no issues with 4WD. I look forward to staying at the cabin again in the summer, because I would be pumped to see the lake in action.

Described by guests as a waterfront paradise, this is a 12 X 12 foot Tiny House room 20 feet from the shore of the Merrimack River in New Hampshire. Comfortable, affordable and rustic with easy access to all the area has to offer. Hiking, snow and water skiing, the ocean, Boston; all within a one hour drive. Only 4 miles to the center of Manchester and Concord is only 12 miles North. We are just off the highway so finding us is easy. A peaceful and convenient place to rest in the center of NH.
The room has large 4 foot by 5 foot sliding windows on all four sides. Several can be opened to let the cool prevailing breeze flow through. They can also be closed during cooler days. An electric heater and a propane fireplace are provided for heat but there is no air conditioning. Your private bathroom is just a few feet away in a separate building. Be aware that the toilet is a COMPOSTING TOILET. That means that it does not use water and does not flush. Instead you will pour wood shavings onto the bottom of the toilet when finished. This toilet works very well and does not smell. We use this type of toilet because we are very close to the river and want to be environmentally safe. Access to the water is available from May 1st through October 31 or as weather allows. Please note that there is no lifeguard and you will swim at your own risk (this is what the lawyer says I must state). Water access is via a stairway which leads to the shoreline or to the dock. As a public waterway there are boats and other water craft passing by during the day. Keep in mind that the Tiny House is part of my back yard. It is about 50 feet from our patio but has its own private patio with a grill and farmers sink with hot and cold running water during summer months only. You may hear us as we sit on our patio overlooking the river while we eat and socialize, but you can't see us from your patio. Feel free to come by and say hello.
We live on 2.5 acres of land with plenty of space between our neighbors and us. The Tiny house has its own waterfront and a dock is available during the summer to sit and enjoy the view.
  • Steve’s tiny house was fantastic! Waking up to the sunrise across the Merrimack River was something out of a dream. Being so close to the highway is super convenient to find nearby trails and places to eat. We look forward to booking again in the warmer months to enjoy the river! :)

    Jiska2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • My boyfriend and I planned a two week snowboarding trip. This was our third stop, and we stayed one night. We had a restful night stay as the bed was comfortable. I really liked the soft shag rugs throughout the rooms. Everything appeared clean, and I especially liked how the host provided plenty of bottled waters and coffee. I did ask the host if we could do a load of laundry, and she denied us access to her washer and dryer, so that was a bit unfortunate. Secondary roads to get to the airbnb were awful! (This isn’t the hosts fault, just giving future potential guests an idea about the area, as we are from Virginia). It would be very much recommended for future travelers to be driving a 4 WD vehicle. The closest restaurant that we could find that was open at 7pm at night was about 20 minutes away. Potholes everywhere, so beware.

She was there to greet us when we got there and show us how everything worked, gave us great tips on local places to eat, and the space decorated in a lovely and cozy fashion. I would definitely stay again!

We do have our own dog Trixie, who will mainly reside at our house, but she might get excited by the visitors.
Walking and hiking right out your door! We can help with ideas for a hiking adventure if you like. The The Kitchen in Andover serves amazing breakfast and lunch foods, and some dinner servings. It is located about 5 miles north. The Refinery is fairly new, we haven't tried it but hear great things about it. It's about 8 miles north of the site. *********** Due to Covid-19 the Kitchen is doing most of their food as take out. ******************** The Barnstore, 7 miles south of us, has great food, but is not open on a regular basis. Call ahead to see. They serve locally grown meats. Try the pork chop breakfast!! Another great place for breakfast and lunch is Tuckers, located 15 miles east in New London. Well worth the trip for good food! For a good pizza at a good price, try the CrossRoads Country Store, about 6 miles south. Gas, basic necessities, and homemade cookies are their specialities.
  • We stayed here on a very cold night and Dawn made sure that we were well prepared by giving us plenty of blankets to stay warm throughout the night. Definitely would come back again!

  • Loved staying here! It is a very clean, cozy, and unique space. Perfect for a get-away from technology :) Dawn is also very nice and I highly recommend staying at her place.

  • The space was absolutely magical and Dawn went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and safe arrival. Could not recommend this space and the kind humans that host it. Truly a perfect stay, so fortunate to have had the support of Dawn and her family during the snowy arrival. Really an exceptional spot!

  • Glancing is the way to go! Not only does New Hampshire’s beauty speak for itself, but the place was cozy, stylish, and unique! Dawn was an incredible host and willing to put in any extra effort we could have asked for. If you are looking for a quiet unique and comfortable space to have alone time or get to know your friends/significant other better, this is the place for you. Even in the winter it was a great experience. The heaters kept us warm and the lights added a magical holiday touch. 10/10!

    Shannon2019-12-15T00:00:00Z
  • Dawn was a great host. She did a great job keeping in contact with us incase we needed any extra items that she could deliver. The place was clean and super cozy, and looked just like the pictures. Her family did a great job helping take care of us as well and her son helped us start a fire when we couldn’t. All in all, we had a great experience and were very well taken care of.

    Salina2019-12-08T00:00:00Z
  • It’s cold in the winter but that’s expected. Was a wonderful stay since we knew what we’d be getting into. Was a good stay. Lots of stuff in the place that was unexpected. Coffee. Hot chocolate. Things for s’mores. Will stay again!

The surrounding area is serene, the flat is always sparkling clean, and they are truly the best people!! I have never met such nice, gracious people in my life. Quaint and private in-law studio in private home in Henniker, New Hampshire, adjacent to Pat’s Peak Ski Area, near New England College and Contoocook river. Semi-private walkout basement with private entrance, separate bedroom, kitchenette, bathroom, and patio. Nice yard in wooded area, rivers, lakes and mountains with four season recreational activities nearby in central New Hampshire. Suitable for 2-3 people, additional guests will need to be approved by host. No pets, no smoking, no drugs.
We are located in a quieter forested part of central New Hampshire, lakes, rivers, and mountains provide outdoor activities nearby. In winter, skiing, snowmobiling, snow shoeing, and ice fishing are nearby. Spring and summer are great times here for hiking, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, and swimming. The autumn here in central New England is quite beautiful.
  • Great little walk-out basement space within walking distance of Pat's Peak.

    James2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • Birchwood was a lovely, comfortable, and accommodating Airbnb directly next to Pats Peak making for an ideal skiing get away. The kitchen is plenty big and has everything you’d need to make meals for dine -in if you’re looking to keep your trip lower budget, but there are also some local spots our host recommended for dinning out. Our hosts were very friendly and had thought of everything you could possibly need for your stay with them including a portable space heater for the other rooms away from the bedroom where the main heating source is located. I would just suggest bringing slippers or thicker socks for walking around on the floors if you didn’t want to use the heater. Would (and hope) to stay here again in the future.

  • Great spot for skiing at Pat's Peak.

  • Access to Pats Peak is within walking distance and great restaurants a short drive away. Terrance's home is really a great place to hang your hat for a few days. Peaceful and pleasant with great views to the mountain. We really enjoyed our stay here. Thank you!

Every room was sparkling clean and we really appreciated the coffee, tea and other amenities which helped us feel at home. (Also great board games and movie selections!) Everything matched the description and even exceeded our expectations. Would return for a future stay!

  • Wonderful place to stay! Adorable spacious apartment with homey touches and a helpful host.

    Alison2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Karen was the best host my dad and I could have ever asked for! She greeted us when we arrived, gave us a little tour, provided us with some breakfast food and home made cookies and even made a sweet welcome sign for us! The apartment was beautiful and cozy, and stocked well with everything we needed. When my dad cut his leg skiing and needed stitches, Karen helped us out a ton! She provided us with extra ice and baggies so my dad could ice his leg, and helped him get up the stairs. Very quick to respond and an absolute sweetheart! The apartment was roomy, super comfy and at such a great price! I wish I could give Karen 5000 *stars*!!

    Olivia2020-02-12T00:00:00Z
  • I’m an experienced Airbnber but Karen’s stood out for all the warm and special touches she offered from the homemade chocolate chip cookies to all the breakfast fixings to the sign welcoming us to the board games and movies to the notebook of suggestions. We prepared all our meals and the kitchen was well stocked. The beds were comfy and the place was quiet and welcoming in every way. Very close to Crotched Mountain where we skied. Highly recommended!
