This vintage forest cabin is perched above our pristine mountain stream, set amidst a highly diverse indigenous botanical forest wetland.The cabin is entirely private with a large deck and extensive views of both mountain peaks. Hand built by owner over a period of two years, with hardwood floors throughout, hand waxed with beeswax polish from our own hives. Guests enjoy their own private access along their secluded forest path. A vintage Nestor Martin canon style wood stove will restore you.

We are a simple, off the grid set up so do not expect luxury but rather the simple pleasures and nature in all its glory. Our property is a work in progress. We dream of creating a sustainable space by restoring our land and respecting nature in the process.

This gorgeous self catering cottage is a perfect spot for travellers to rest their weary feet, or a couple wanting to appreciate the natural surroundings of Natures Valley for few nights. It is attached to our current family home. It has its own patio over-looking a lovely garden, which attracts many birds. The unspoiled beach is 50m from the house. Hikes, basic shop and restaurant all accessible on foot.
