NB .. the bedroom is in the eaves so limited head room & accessed by reasonably narrow staircase/shower room is downstairs (therefore not suitable to elderly or tall people due to the limited headroom / due to size of the bedroom it is only a double bed). With its original ships' timber beams, the old forge where Laura and Harold Knight painted in the early 1900's is one of the oldest buildings in Staithes. It has been restored for use as a cosy studio-cottage right in the heart of the old village. It has a bed-deck with comfortable mattress, a bathroom, fully equipped kitchen and multi-fuel stove.
