In this hands-on experience, we’ll create four unique cocktails using traditional Czech spirits and local ingredients, all in a relaxed, stylish venue tucked away from the tourist crowds. We’ll start with a welcome drink and get to know each other over stories of Czech bar culture, nightlife, and local liquors like Becherovka and slivovice. Then it’s time to roll up your sleeves and get shaking. I’ll walk you through every step as we make three signature cocktails together using pro techniques. Once you’re warmed up, you’ll get to create your own custom drink. You’ll have access to spirits, fresh ingredients, and garnishes—everything you need to bring your own twist to Czech mixology. While visiting different beer venues, you will also pass by some of the famous sights of Prague, hidden streets and you will have a chance to ask all your questions thanks to the small size of the group. You will learn why beer has always been so important for Czech people and we will also teach you the local beer etiquette - how to properly order beer in Czech, communicate with the staff and share with you loads of tips on what else to see and taste during the rest of your stay in Prague. After this full night of "beer culture education" you will leave with unforgettable memories and new friends. At each venue, every guest will receive 1 or 2 draft beers to taste (total amount of at least 1.5 l of beer), this can be replaced by a glass of wine or a non-alcoholic beverage of their choice. The whole route is around 2.5km (1.5 miles) of walking on a flat paved surface.

Whisky Tasting with a Local Expert

Each Wednesday I will have prepared a guided whisky tasting for all of our guests. Usually the number of samples will be from 2 to 6, depending on the size of the pour and the price of the whiskies. Each guest receives a tasting sheet with basic information about the whiskies to be tasted, and why that particular tasting has been arranged. Sometimes we will do a "deep dive" into one distillery's products, such as four different bourbons from a famous Kentucky distillery such as Wild Turkey. Or we will have a "tour of Irish Styles" with four different Irish whiskies, one from each type of Irish Whiskey. Other times it will be Smoky Blends of Scotland, or a Duel of 14 year-old Single Malts, or other similar themes. Any whisky lover will be happy with the selection, presentation, and discussion of whichever whiskies are on stage that week. Other things to note Be sure to come with a good attitude, ready to meet some like-minded people, and ready to taste some delicious whiskies! Great for groups and team-building! And be sure to schedule time to stay for dinner! The steakhouse has excellent steaks, burgers, BBQ ribs and more. And all Whisky Tasting guests get a 10% discount off of their entire dinner tab! :)

Learn to bake Czech Kolaches in the heart of Old Town

Have you ever heard of Czech kolaches? Learn how to make this delicious iconic Czech pastry in the heart of Old Town! Recipes for Czech kolaches vary from region to region. However, the core ingredients remain the same - yeast dough, quark or poppy seeds, seasonal fruit, and delicious buttery crumb. In Czechia, people eat kolaches mainly during the weekend. However, why not to enjoy them anytime during the week?:) If you don't find an open slot, don't hesitate to write me - I can open a slot just for you, I am flexible:) Program schedule: We will gather in the lovely kitchen in the heart of the Old Town, just above the famous Michelin restaurant La Degustation. I will guide you through the whole baking process, so no need to worry if you are new to baking ;) You will make the quark filling, knead the crumb, taste homemade jams and of course, I will teach you how to make the dough and shape the kolaches. Finally, we'll eat our creations (warm are just the best!) with a cup of tea or specialty coffee from nearby coffee place Onesip :) ...and if you don't eat them all, you'll receive a box full of delicious kolaches for tomorrow:) The whole baking experience lasts 2-2.5h, and it's great for groups up to 5 people. Families with children are welcome as well! You don't need to bring anything, all ingredients and equipment are provided for you. Secret tip - Come hungry :)
