Great place to stay! It was very clean, comfortable, and convenient!

Manuel’s place is great! Extremely clean and comfortable. Very quiet. It’s just as pictured. He provides coffee, water and some snacks. Also plenty of towels and supplies in the bathroom. There is a refrigerator, microwave and toaster oven and utensils, plates, bowls, etc. which allowed us to bring in breakfast food. It’s very convenient to the coliseum and the aquatic center. There is nothing much to walk to, if you need that. I would definitely stay again.

Manuel's place is in a great location close to lots of shopping, restaurants and the hockey rink if you wanted to catch a game. The apartment is big, has lots if perks like snacks, coffee, tea, fridge, freezer even a microwave and a toaster oven. The place is very clean and is even great to relax and watch TV if you wanted to.

The most comfortable place I have ever stayed in. Love the mattress in the room and even the pull out couch had such a comfortable bed. The place is Exceptionally clean, that I may even say cleaner than most hotels. Manuel was beyond accommodating and very sweet!! This will become my families go to place every time I visit my home town in NY!! The home is located in the middle of everything that we love!!! My husband, high school age daughter, and I stayed at Manuel’s place in early January, 2020. I was delighted with our choice, because Manuel had literally thought of EVERYTHING. The flat is lovely and spacious, as described, and even nicer than the pictures. There are skylights that help provide plenty of natural light, and there generous closet space for storage so you don’t have to be stepping over luggage throughout your stay. The bedroom was lovely with (I think) a memory foam mattress. The sofa that pulls out into a bed in the living area was large and comfortable. Both mattresses were firm (in a good way), and there are plenty of pillows and a super soft additional couch for lounging. There are also plenty of outlets for charging phones and laptops etc, and good WiFi. There is no “kitchen” per se, but the dining area is well appointed - there is a keurig coffee machine, electric tea kettle, microwave, and refrigerator/freezer. The flat is well stocked with water and some basic fruit, coffee, tea, and various snacks (which were quite welcome when we were in the run!). Overall, there are lots of little, thoughtful touches, that make this place standout. Bathroom supplies (toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, mouthwash, soap, plenty of fluffy large towels!!!) are provided, there is WiFi, a binder with local area info and FAQs, a TV channel listing so you don’t have to guess or rely only on the TV menu, and a well thought-out zoned lighting scheme so you can arrange your lighting so that it best fits what you want/need. Manuel could not have been more gracious and responsive. He met us on arrival and showed us around the flat, and answered any questions we had about the flat and the area. His family lives downstairs and we barely knew they were there other than crossing paths coming and going here and there. The train ride into the city was about 40 min - although due to some construction on the LIRR on Saturdays in January the stops closest to Manuel’s were not operating. We just went to a station closer in a couple miles down the road and took the train from there (and parked our car at the station - no issue with using the commuter lot on a weekend). Normally, there is a station within walking distance making getting into the city a breeze. There are plenty of shopping areas and restaurants nearby. The neighborhood itself is a lovely residential neighborhood, quiet and family-oriented. I really could not have chosen a better place for the weekend - we could do everything we needed and wanted to during the day and have a perfect home to retreat to overnight. I would recommend Manuel’s place to anyone in a heartbeat! Thank you, Manuel!

Manuel’s place was hands down the best bnb we’ve ever stayed at! It was close to everything. The place was quiet and clean with plenty of space and privacy. There was also a bunch of snacks too! We’ll definitely be back.

Manny is very friendly and hospitable. The space is super clean and very well stocked with coffee, etc. It was December but we were very warm. I would go back here again.

Emmanuel’s place was a perfect location for my husband and I. We traveled to NY to visit family & this cute apartment was 10 minutes away! We found it clean & cozy, with a nice small kitchen, a warm shower, an iron & blow dryer ( which I used!) It had TV & WiFi. We appreciated all the bottled waters & coffee the host provided! Emmanuel was very attentive to our needs, texting us daily making sure everything was ok. We felt safe in the neighborhood & always found parking. I found the bed comfortable but did get very hot at night as the furnace is in the closet of the small bedroom, right next to the bed. My husband on the other hand was not too hot. I read the other reviews about the low ceiling at the entranceway. Being aware of this was helpful when coming & going, we never banged our heads. This waa a nice small apartment at a good cost!

Great place to stay at! Great amenities, in walking distance to a lot of things. We got to meet Emmanuel and he was very kind and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again!

Really clean, organized, and loved the place

The host is very nice gentleman with great hospitality and promptness of responding to my needs during the stay. The location is also very good - plenty of nearby restaurants and shops as well as major highways. A gentle reminder is that this is a basement unit of a house. This means you may notice sound/noise from upstairs. In other words, your noise of activity may be heard over too. Travelers with short stay or a bit tolerance may be fine. I stayed here with my wife for a little more than a week. Overall the experience was good. The location and host’s great hospitality have beaten any negatives for our stay.

Overall was a nice and comfortable stay. Miguel was a great host, very responsive and helpful with any needs. The room was clean and cozy. It was a great place to rest while visiting NYC and Long Island, and I will keep it in mind the next time I’m in the area.

Miguel's private room is good for the low price. It is as pictured. Check- in was easy, just inputting a code he sets up for you. The room was clean. Bed had a nice memory foam topper, which allowed me to sleep soundly after a long day of travel! TV in the room, although I didn't turn it on, I'm sure it works. Miguel checks in on you after you get settled in. He seemed kind, friendly, and trustworthy. He also offers you Keurig coffee or tea. Provided a basic economy bath towel and face towel. The bathroom was clean. Almost had a Hostel-type (2-3 star hotel) feel to the place, but was much cleaner. Felt like I was in Europe almost, and stayed cautious. The house did constantly make strange rickety noises- pipes, electrical units, etc, but I was able to sleep soundly! The door is a sliding door with a makeshift lock, so do not expect an actual door. It is as pictured in the photos. He does have a key to lock your belongings from outside the room if you're going out, also a makeshift lock. Also, there was some construction going on by the LIRR Merillon Ave. station, so my walk from the station to the home was much longer than 10min, and also in the cold. I suggest an Uber. It's a humble room, but I think it was moderate value for the price. Thanks Miguel! Appreciated the soft, clean bed and offering of refreshments!

Great place and location.

I stayed for 5 nights in total. For the price you can’t beat it. Miguel was always quick to respond.the room is mostly excluded from the rest of the house and very quiet. The parking is on the street but it’s not to busy/ yet a 10 min walk to lirr and also 10 min walk to bus depot. For nyc it’s a pretty good area I accidentally left my car unlocked one night and no one broke in. Perfect for an explorer that doesn’t want to spend money on a hotel. Thanks Miguel 👍👍👍

Miguel is very knowledgeable about local transit options and the room itself is comfortable and cozy. It was easy to get to the location from either rail transport (faster, expensive) or bus (slower, cheaper.) Great value anywhere but especially so close to NYC!

Mo's place was sparkling clean! It made for an excellent stay right here in long Island. The bathroom is all new and redone, Mo is super friendly and helpful. All the extra touches were greatly appreciated! I will definitely stay here again and can highly recommend it.

If I were a selfish person, I would keep this outstanding accommodation to myself. You won’t find a better deal or a nicer place in Mineola and it’s environs. This Airbnb is super clean. There is no clutter. The bed is very comfortable and the living quarters have a large comfortable sofa and a large high-def t.v. Bottled water and snacks are provided. There is a microwave refrigerator and coffee maker. They even provide tea which made this tea drinker very happy. Mohammad and his wife are very friendly and helpful. I was picked up at the train station at no extra charge. I did not expect this, and it was most appreciated. I will definitely stay here on future trips. Mohammad is truly a Super Host!

There were children in the household above where we stayed but they weren't a loud disturbance.

The pictures don't do any justice to how it really looks inside. The place is big, enough room to move around if going with more people. Super clean place the area is quite. I don't have nothing negative to say any time they need to use the laundry they always txt me and let me know. They were super respectful to me. If you right now looking at this property and thinking about booking it, do it you won't regret it.

This space was perfect. Spotlessly clean - larger space than I expected! And the inclusion of big fluffy blankets was appreciated as I was visiting from a much warmer climate! It was also very conveniently located.

Clean and tidy place

The space looks exactly like it did in the pictures. It is very spacious and had a comfortable bed. The outside door is connected to a laundry room for the building, which does generate some noise. It was not a problem for me but it might be an issue for light sleepers.

Overall very good stay! The space was very large and clean. I did not have any issues and would book again if I was traveling back to this area.

We stayed at Lili's private studio to be close to Cohen's Children's medical center. Lili was a great communicator and assured us she could accommodate our high needs with our baby. Her hospitality exceeded our expectations there. Our pack N play fit great next to the bed and all of the amenities worked as expected. The couch was comfortable and the TV worked well and streamed shows from our phone. The location seemed to be very central to a fun & busy 'main street' type area- while we didn't have time to explore, we did get takeout from a long list of close by options. Very convenient, would stay again should we need to revisit the medical center!

Enjoyed my time at Lili's place. She made the check in and check out process easy to understand. Everything that we needed was provided to us during our stay.

The space is very nice in a lovely neighborhood that is quiet. The room is well appointed and perfectly clean. Indoor parking leads directly to the unit. Directions are clear for checking in and out. Hosts are readily available as needed.

The suite was amazing. It’s very easy to check in, and Alexandra along with her husband are very accommodating. The room was extremely clean, and the bed is comfortable. There is a great sense of privacy, but they can be easily reached if a guest is in need of anything. It was a wonderful experience!

What a beautiful spot to call home for my time there! The space was just what I needed - very comfortable (LOVED the flannel sheets!) with nice decor, very clean and with a peaceful sunny morning view. I met Dani after my arrival and he was so thoughtful and present for any needs. I felt much like a very welcomed friend, but it was never intrusive. I will definitely stay here again for my future business trips.

We attended a wedding at Leonard's Palazzo in Great Neck, and this was a very convenient Airbnb nearby. We could walk to the venue in 10 minutes. The previous night's guest checked out late, but the host still made sure to get the room cleaned up for us in time for check in. Lisa was easy to communicate with and had quick responses. The room is basic but had everything you'd need and was clean and comfortable.

The room was comfortable, there were 3 beds for sleeping, the sun was very good, the table was very solid, the TV was rich, the traffic was very convenient, and the sandwiches at the shop next to the train station were delicious.

We had a great stay! The apartment was exactly as described and was very comfortable. The Long Island Railroad was right around the corner. The neighborhood is full of nice restaurants, and the host was welcoming and communicated quickly and clearly. We would definitely stay here again.

He really went out of his way. I indicated that I had an infant with me and he had a pack n play set up for me! He came by later and dropped off a bathtub plug so I could give the baby a bath and a baby blanket. Prompt texts back to answer any questions. The LIRR is literally right there. A parking spot provided! Quiet. Lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance.

A super clean, peaceful and comfortable apartment with a great shower and comfortable bed and furniture throughout. Kind, charming and responsive hosts who make themselves available without invading your privacy. I can't think of a thing that I needed that wasn't there for me. Closet space with hangars, complete kitchen, nice decor, off street parking, they don't use room fresheners or strongly scented anything which was a relief! I highly recommend and look forward to returning to this lovely spot that was conveniently located in Glen Cove.

I had a wonderful stay at Mike and Lucy's place. They are very kind, thoughtful hosts. The apartment was very clean, and very spacious with plenty of room to to make yourself at home. The furniture and bed were very comfortable, and the kitchen is equipped with all you need . The location is great, very close to many attractions, beaches, restaurants, etc. I'm from Locust Valley, so the list of places that I visit when I'm up on the island is very long. I enjoyed that the apartment was so close to all of them. I look forward to staying there again the future!

This air bnb was delightful! Whimsey by the Sea was just what I needed. Extremely private, clean, charming, and tranquil. So much thought was put in every detail! I can’t wait to visit again! So enchanting! Also Rosanne was the perfect host! Quick to answer questions and respectful of privacy. But available if you just need to chat. She is just as delightful and charming as her air bnb! I highly recommend this tranquil escape...Whimsey by the Sea! I can’t wait to return in warmer weather! Oh and the pictures don’t do it justice...much nicer in person!

A wonderful getaway in the charming Village of Sea Cliff. Walk to the beach and the main street albeit up or down hills. Roseanne’s place is very comfortable with a bed that anyone with back problems will cherish. All you could ask for is there. I highly recommend.

We felt very comfortable with Rosanne, she gave us good tips for shops and restaurants. On the terrace we enjoyed the peace. The small apartment has a separate entrance. Sea Cliff is a nice place to relax.

This is a beautiful location, and the studio itself is delightful. Rosanne was so easy to get in touch with and was there to greet me when I arrived. She was incredibly helpful, and I had a much more relaxing stay than I would have at a hotel! Highly recommend.

Rosanne’s place is lovely! Perfect location if you’re attending an event at the nearby Sea Cliff manor. Very charming studio in this cute town. Rosanne was very easy to communicate with and was very warm and welcoming.

My husband and I stayed at Gail's place on our house hunting tour on the Northshore of Long Island. We absolutely loved our stay in Sea Cliff! Communication was excellent and check in easy. The location is perfect for walking to town or the beach. The apartment feels so comfortable and clean and we felt right at home. Loved being able to make a cup of coffee in the morning. We had read the great reviews and were not disappointed! We would love to come back again and stay!

Lovely location for my early morning walk down the central steps and the bathway steps and along the Sea Cliff boardwalk. House is old but the studio bedroom is renovated, clean and spacious. Private entrance with a patio. Fell asleep with the windows open listening to the sounds of nature in late August. Slept soundly.

Another great stay with these wonderful hosts. The bedroom suite is quiet, comfortable and super clean. Convenient location in a safe, quiet neighborhood. Everything you might need is provided. Highly recommended.

This was my first airBnB experience, but having my own space completely to myself was great! You could hear the kids running around upstairs, but growing up in a big family it didn’t bother me at all. Great first airBnB booking!

We really loved Payal's place. It was quite cute and cozy for a basement. It was my first time staying in a basement and truly it was like a tiny house. The family is quite active so you can hear everything but it was no bother. There are kids too so you can hear their little feet which we didn't mind. There is a full size fridge and a stove so you can stay and cook your own meals. There are alot of local restaurants within walking distance and shorter with uber or a car. Street parking was no issue each night. Check in and check out was very easy. I would definitely stay here again. Commmuncation was easy and any slight hiccups ( internet went out which was not in their control ) they tended to very quickly. Truly enjoyed our stay :) thank you for sharing your home!!

This place was great. Check in is easy and it's a complete private space with a big living room and bedroom. It's in a basement but there's no issues with moisture, temperature or anything. It's fully finished and has a big fridge, burners and a microwave. Host is friendly and responds very quickly. The entire process was very independent and we loved that.

Great house from the moment I stepped into the front door everything looked pristine. So bright and beachy and great new furniture! Host is very hands on whatever and whenever we needed anything. Really enjoyed my stay.

The back yard was beautiful! Janice was a responsive and more than helpful host. The home is on a very quiet dead end street walking distance to restaurants, coffee and shoping.

Sweet little room very conveniently located in beautiful Locust Valley! The lock on the door requires quite a few tries to open it; keep trying. The walls are thin, but the people on the other side were very quiet. I would recommend it, and would stay there, again.

Tamara’s apartment is classic Airbnb; it’s got a great bed, a nice hot shower, and it is conveniently located across the street from the Long Island Railroad. It is also classic in that it is someone’s day to day apartment, not a few extra rooms that are rented out to guests. It’s in a busy area of Mineola near the hospital, stores, and many restaurants. Tamara's house is very convenient for guests who are going to Manhattan, opposite the LIRR station. The house is clean, the homeowner is very attentive and has a must answer. Will recommend to friends.

Jennifer and David’s home is located in the scenic city of Port Washington, a beautiful city less than an hour from Manhattan on the local Long Island Railroad. The room was as lovely as expected and not only met, but exceeded all my expectations from the pictures. The room was very clean, the sheets were soft, smooth, and luxurious. Clean towels were provided for the entire duration of my stay. Prior to my arrival, Jennifer was kind enough to ask me if I needed milk or creamer for my coffee in the morning (the room has two different types of coffee makers, a mini fridge, freezer, and a microwave). It was so nice that the fridge was stocked with bottled waters, milk, creamer, oatmeal, and some bananas when I arrived. Temperatures in the room were amazing with an air conditioner and ceiling fan that could be adjusted to my comfort level. The house is located walking distance from the LIRR, but David and Jennifer offered to meet me at the train station and take me directly to the Airbnb so I could get situated. Jennifer and David have excellent communication skills and answer messages promptly. They are a very warm and lovely couple, fantastic hosts, and staying in their home in Port Washington, NY, was a very hospitable experience with a small hometown feel.

Hopefully you will be coming to Port Washington for pleasure. No matter- It was a great place to grow up for which I am very greatful. Lots of history and wonderful features are only to be discovered. Jennifer will help you with suggestions and resources. Slow down take your time and savor.

I stayed with Jennifer to take a break from my long commute. I wasn't sure what to expect as this was my first time in a shared space. Jennifer was very welcoming and it truly was a great experience.

Lovely helpful hosts. Wonderful comfortable home w/character & coziness in sweet little town; yet easy roomy train to NYC. Host couple provided great navigation guidance, local tips on sites & restaurant; provided nice snacks, fridge & micro & coffee & coffee maker in room. great books, fast wifi, lots of nice extra touches. Hosts provide as much privacy or interaction as you wish. Great people, great place!

I highly recommend this place. The hosts were very friendly and the place is sparkling clean. We rented the place on a short notice and everything went so well that the host even helped take my wife to JFK airport saving me some money in the process.

I will try to write something very brief. Prior to my booking,i asked for an early check in. Which she said was totally fine. Coming into New York. My schedule changed. I texted Tamara at morning that I will be there at mid day. She said it was ok. I ended up gettin into New York at night. She stayed up till I checked in, The morning after that she told me how to go round the city. And all. I am not a stranger to New York. But she totally influenced this trip positively. She served cooked meals as tho it was a premium 5 star hotel. Basically, from the door, you will know the touch is definitely unique, she styled everywhere including the bathroom. I learnt a thing or two from here on how to fix my home. She totally respects your private space. She also offered to drop me off at the airport. In closing, I will say I can without any shadow of doubt refer this property to anyone I know who needs a place in NYC. Thanks Tamara and have wonderful New Year.

Tamara provides an excellent environment for her guests and gives you anything you may have forgotten to pack for your trip (I.e. toiletries). Her place is lovely and well kept. She is very sweet and is willing to answer questions or help you with anything. Highly recommend!

This was my best stay to date, Tamara was an exceptional host she catered to my every need. Highly recommended. Tamara's house is super clean with everything you need. The photos are exactly the same as the real room you will be staying. The bathroom is always clean even when sharing with other clients because Tamara cleans it multiple times every day. You get your own key to your room so good privacy. If you need a car, Tamara has a nice one to rent with full insurance and better rate than any car rental company. The neighborhood is beautiful, safe and quiet with a very nice park within 5 minutes’ drive. Tamara herself is a very kind people to help you with things you need. Always respond quickly with useful information. We stayed like a family with her lovely dog named Tommy. Overall, this is a 5-stars place that you can’t easily find somewhere else. I just extended my stay for another 10 days for the good experience here. You should book it before the dates are sold out!

I booked Mordeana’s place at the last minute because I had a funeral to go to. The bedroom was cozy and quiet, just what I needed. There was a great gym, Pulse, nearby that I walked to. I grew up in New Hyde Park, so I knew the neighborhood would be safe. Mordeana was a great host. She was patient and pleasant, even when I called at 1 am due to check-in confusion. If you need fancy amenities, and can afford it, this may not be for you, but if you want comfort and quiet in a good neighborhood with convenient public transit to NYC, try Mordeana’s place.

Exactly what I needed. No more, no less. And Mordeana was very accommodating, as the reservation was made one day prior to arriving.

I stayed at this place for a month. It was clean, and the fridge was stocked. The space has a kitchenette that has a microwave and a small fridge as well as cutlery, plates, cups, and paper towels. I found everything I needed for my stay there. The bed was clean with extra bedding. The host was quick to respond to text and very helpful. I highly recommend this place.

Enna has a beautiful house located right across the street from Morgan Park. The cleanliness of this house was spectacular, as well as the stylish touches she has placed around the common place. I recommend this place. Andre’s home its very clean. The room it’s really nice with a big tv. If your plan is travel around Manhattan, I think it’s a little bit far, however there are buses every-time to get the place! I didn’t notice before book that Little Neck it’s like outside of the city, but it’s a beautiful place with beautiful location. Andre it’s a very nice person, about check in, he waited until we arrive late in the night, and also the last day he dropped us off until the city. He has everything that you can need in his home.

This place is just as advertised! Christine is perfectly responsive, and I did not have to wait more than a few moments after sending a message. The location is very close to Queensborough Community College, which is convenient, and it is very easy to use the metro from there and get basically to anywhere between there and Manhattan (I did that during my stay with no problem). The house was clean, there were plenty of bathrooms, so no waiting time, even though quite a few people were staying there. Overall, it was a smooth stay.

This place is as it’s described, it’s super clean which I enjoyed the most. I also enjoyed the quite neighborhood.

Beautifully remodeled and comfortable, you definitely need to Uber or have a car, but so worth it.
