The cabin in Åsen

Small cottage with charm at Øståsen in Vikersund. 40 min walk upwards from the parking lot. Here there is simple life without electricity and water. The road up is a nice trip, a bit heavy some lots. Recommend going upstairs before dark. Remember good shoes and warm cloths. At the top, the prize awaits, flat and nice with lovely views:) Bunk bed in kitchen, sofa bed in living room. Remember sleeping bag+pillowcase, bed sheets are in the cabin. *Road fee NOK 50,- *Remember drinking water! Dishwashing water is available in the cabin *storm kitchen/portable *Outhouse

Free parking and possibility for electric car charging. 2 People sleep comfortable in their own bedroom, but there is a sofa bed in the living room where you can make up to 2 more people. Central Drammen - 30 minutes by train to Oslo.

In this place you can stay close to everything, with a central location in Drammen and a short distance to Oslo by train/car. It is only 11 minutes walk to the train station and the train ride to Oslo takes 30 minutes. The apartment is simple but homely decorated. There are two bedrooms, both with double bed (140cm and 150cm). We automatically prepare both bedrooms if you are four guests, but we are happy to prepare two bedrooms also for only two guests. Cosy cabin with a great view. 200 meters to the nearest beach and 800 meters to a big public beach. Sun from 8 am to 10 pm in the summer. Large terrace on three levels. Kitchen holds a modern standard. Main cabin holds to bedrooms (one with a double bed and one with a single bed), living room, dining area (with a kitchen sofa that can be made in to a double bed) and kitchen. Second cabin is the bathroom and third cabin is a bedroom. Note: The third cabin is without electricity.

An idyllic and quiet spot in the forest

Enjoy nature in this beautiful, quiet place! There is no electricity. Fresh water from a new well. Poor phone signals and zero wifi! This is perfect for a digital detox! This is a place for pure relaxation. The climbing park HøytogLavt Modum and Blaafarveværket are just a few minutes away by car. The place used to house workers from the cobalt mines. The mines is now a museum that can be visited during summer. Approximately 40 min drive to Drammen and 75 min to Oslo.
