Built in our garden, this hideaway serves as accommodation for our large family to use when visiting. It has a large open plan kitchen/lounge diner with a sofa bed, one double bedroom, an office area, bathroom and a utility room housing the laundry facilities. It has underfloor heating and is double glazed. There is a dedicated parking space on our drive and a deck to sit on, in good weather.

A great place for mountain biking with the Transpennine Trail a few miles away and lots of cycle paths/trails on your doorstep. Local real ale pubs and plenty of cafes in Marsden village a short walk (15 minutes) along the canal. Beautiful scenery, views from the cottage are amazing.

We are dog friendly not just dog tolerant with two gated gardens.You can enjoy many local walks. Our neighbours are really informative and friendly. No. 18, Holmfirth is a cosy, quirky cottage - three minutes walk to the centre of Holmfirth. Perfectly located for the Picturedrome, bars, restaurants, shops and supermarkets. It's at the top of a steep road, but benefits from amazing, countryside views from the top (and the H3 bus runs up every hour!). Holmfirth Vineyard is only a short drive away. Amazing countryside views when you step out of the front door! Cannon Hall Farm and Yorkshire Sculpture Park are about 20 minutes drive.
