We received a warm welcome. Jacob welcomed us nicely, even though we landed later than planned. It was clean and tidy, the light was on and it was lovely warm. Sheets and pillows were put in bed so we could go to bed right away. Nothing was missing. Staying team Jacob is highly recommended.

This is were you want to be if you're going to stay for any time in Roskilde or want some distance from the big city but want very much to visit Copenhagen. This wonderful home is super clean and ready to be used with all the amenities you have in your own home. A full kitchen and laundry. The internet was outstanding unlike many places in northern Europe, you'll be surprised! Parking just outside your door in a nice quite neighborhood. The market, buses, the train stations are all at your finger tips and wonderful rural views are within minutes drive. Biking and hiking trails are everywhere! The beauty and museums of Roskilde are also within minutes drive. We enjoyed outstanding weather most of our 16 day stay! Come feel at home here!

I stayed at the lovely and homey place second time and all I can say that I loved it even more feeling comfortable and relaxed there as at my own house. The house's got everything you need to feel yourself at home. The kitchen is fully equipped with all utensils and appliances. There is a big and spacious living room with high ceiling. Wooden floors has recently been completely redone and look like brand new. The house is south oriented and gets lots and lots of sunlight through large and high windows. The walls are decorated with beautiful paintings. The host is friendly and easy going and is always quick to respond to all your needs and concerns that you may have.

This beautiful home was a delight to stay and enjoy. It is a co-housing concept and we were welcomed by everyone we met. The interior space is elegant luxury. We stayed for seven days and it was such a joy to be there. Our hosts Henning and Marianne left the house as though close family were arriving and we loved every minute of our stay. Roskilde is a beautiful, historic city and close to Copenhagen and many other places. Can’t speak highly enough about this place. You will not be disappointed. Ian & Zizi Morton

A super cozy and good place

The accommodation is clean, nicely designed and really charming. During our stay, we appreciated the service and kindness of our host and can definitively recommend a stay here. Also, the location near Roskilde‘s inner city and central station is really good to explore the surrounding or for going to Copenhagen.

Bargain, very clean, spacious room, awesome 'spacious' bathroom. Centre 10min walk, you actually have a great view of the large cathedral from your window which looks great at night illuminated. Great room, toasty hot and you have lots of privacy (Hosts are great! never saw host other than initial key handover which is always appreciated).

I stayed in this beautiful apartment for two weeks. Karin was very kind and many times inquired about how is it going. I felt very comfortable and if i had a question she wrote me back as soon.

Had a great stay at Claus' apartment. A lot of thought and effort has gone into providing helpful information and support to his guests. This was our first experience of AirBnB so wasn't sure what to expect. We were definitely NOT disappointed. Great style and feel to the place. Claus replied to a number of our queries very quickly. Claus's place is a sparkling clean, stylish, and spacious apartment. The check-in and check-out process was incredibly easy, beds were comfortable, and the apartment was warm and inviting. I also appreciated how Claus responded real time to any questions we had. After spending an exhausting day touring Copenhagen (just 30 minutes away), this was the perfect place to unwind. I highly recommend this location.

Great accommodation for a stay in Roskilde

Brigitte and Erik are super welcoming and helpful. The house is very modern and has a nice terrasse and garden. The bathroom is spacious. Nice!

Brigette and Erik are excellent hosts - they were very welcoming and helpful providing local information which added much to our stay in Roskilde. The house is well situated on a quiet street but in easy walking distance of all the town has to offer. They also produce very good honey.

Located in a quieter residential area, it's close also close to the harbour and viking ship museum area. I will remember the kitchen and breakfast conversations particularly fondly. Will 100% stay there again if I ever return to Roskilde.

Ida’s home is beautifully decorated. Every detail is perfect. Art, high quality Scandinavian furniture, lovely front & back yards. Skylights, high ceilings, large windows. A dream home! Full service kitchen.

The location is on the very outer edge of Roskilde, easily accessible by car, public transport or bicycle. Definitely recommended!

Everything is as beautiful as described by Ida. Somewhat elevated on the Roskilde Fjord is the beautiful and fully equipped house in a very friendly living atmosphere with terrace and garden, in which we felt very comfortable. I think that Ida and Jens trusted us very much. We were greeted warmly and have exchanged with coffee and rolls all that is important. I had a great time staying at this very charming and cozy house in a perfect quiet and picturesque surroundings . The house is spacious with high ceilings and gets lots of light. The house is well equipped with all you may need to feel yourself at home. There’s also a nice backyard with rose bushes and some fruit trees. Everything is perfectly maintained and taken care of by the owners. They always stay in touch with their visitors and gladly to help on any question you may have.

Ida and Jens are warm and friendly hosts who welcomed us with a morning tea as soon as we arrived. Their apartment is beautiful and comfortable in every way and was well above our expectations. The apartment is modern and has every convenience to make your stay relaxing. The apartment is located in a quiet area close to a forest and lake reserve, ideal for runs, cycling and walks. Ida prepared an introduction package to the apartment and provided information on events and activities in and around Roskilde & Copenhagen. Prior to our stay communication with Ida was excellent and this helped to make our first meeting more comfortable. This was our first stay with Airbnb and based on our experience with Ida and Jens we would use the service again. We would recommend Ida and Jens and their apartment to others who are thinking of visiting this part of Denmark.

Ida's place is incredible. we coile not have asked for a more perfect base for out vacation in Denmark. the house was spotlessly clean, and Ida took the time to explain everything when we arrived. The beds were really comfortable, and my son slepy soundly every night on the fold out mattress. It was exceptionally hot while we stayed in Denmark, but with the terrace door open, the house kept to a nice temperature while we were inside. Ida was a fantastic host who went above and beyond for us during our stay. she kept in touch during our stay with suggestions on local events. all in all, a fantastic, five star experience and i woild not hesitate to book Ida's home again.

Ida was a wonderful host. Her home was in a perfect location for me, great access to bike routes to my office and running trails in the evening. Her home was also bright and very inviting. Ida went beyond the call of duty making sure my stay was a success. I would love the chance to stay again.

I staid with Maren for one night. Maren's house is very close to the campus of Roskilde University in Trekroner, which suited me very well. The room is small and with a convertible sofa, and fine for a short stay. Maren conveniently provided a basic breakfast. :-) I would definitely stay with Maren again.

Incredibly warm welcome. Maren is an amazing, friendly person, we spent only a little time together, but it will be unforgetable visit for me. The location of the place is just around few minutes walk from Trekroner, easy to find, the apartment is very clean, cosy, and so charming as the owner. She was so helpful, checking on me when I was on my way there. I spent a really nice time there and I would love to come back some day.

Ideal location for the University campus and to get into the town of Rosklide (10 minutes by train or you can cycle), and easy for Copenhagen too.

I was staying at Maren's guest room with Roskilde Festival - it was relatively easy to get on and off by bike as I had planned. Maren was very hospitable and helpful and I highly recommend others to stay in her small room if you have an errand in Trekroner.

Although our stay was short, Troels's place is just perfect. It's much more spacious than shown in the pictures. It is a perfect base for sightseeing Roskilde, Copenhagen and surroundings. Apartment is well equipped. There is a free parking place (if one is by car). In short, it was just great. Thank you!

We had a great holiday in the house of Troels. Everything present and clean. The location is also very good. Shops nearby and you are in Roskilde. There is a station, you can be in Copenhagen in 30 minutes. Highly recommended as a holiday home.

A truly wonderful semi-detached cottage. It was really beautiful there. The cottage was located in a quite area and was just a five minute walk to the nearest bus stop. The kitchen was very well equipped. All in all it was perfect for our needs! Highly recommended!

Daniel was a lovely host and came out of his way to accommodate me and my cousin after a long day of travel. The house was very nice, clean, and beautifully decorated. We appreciated Daniel's flexibility and hospitality and we couldn't have asked for a better Airbnb experience. Though it was a bit out of the way from Copenhagen, the train ride was not bad at all. 5/5 would recommend if you would like to the get out of the city and see a bit more of Denmark!

Daniel and his family are really lovely hosts and a genuine pleasure to talk to and stay with. Daniel's communication was brilliant, especially as we booked last minute. He greeted us with coffee, and then gave recommendations about things to do in Roskilde and even sent us detailed advice on where to eat. The place is a large, beautiful house, stylishly decorated and well-equipped. The entire place is very light. The room listed is spacious with an absolutely huge bed. The bed requires further explanation. It is one of the comfiest we have ever slept in - the mattress is memory foam. Needless to say, it easily sleeps two. The bathroom is right next to the bedroom and has a good shower. Outside there is a big garden with a hammock. The icing on the cake, though, also in the garden, is that they have Silkie chickens! If you haven't seen these before, Google them. They're basically walking pom-poms. Daniel even let us feed them just before we departed. The place is situated in a quiet, residential area that is also only about a twenty-five minute walk from the train station (about a twenty minute walk from the centre or from the Viking museum). All in all a really excellent stay and a wonderful experience in Roskilde.

A beautiful home with a lovely garden and such a cool style inside, plus perfect communication and friendliness... I would love to stay again at Daniel's place. We could use the kitchen, had a bathroom and a nice bedroom with view into the garden. Daniel was very nice and supportive, he had a friend come over, as he and his family were out, who helped us with anything we needed. Again: would stay there again, can only recommend it!

The communication with Daniel has been very easy, besides being a very kind boy. Very comfortable room with private bathroom, in a house in a very quiet area of the city. We have been very comfortable and would definitely return. Mange tak!

Daniel and Ditte are fantastic hosts - very quick to reply, give helpful advice, make sure you have a great time not just at their place but in Roskilde in general. They had also prepared a hangover kit upon our arrival (we were going to Roskilde festival) and left it in our room for us :) The room was large, nice and comfortable! Apartment on the ground floor of a beautiful house overlooking the fiord, from where we could admire a beautiful sunset. The communication with Charlotte was pure happiness, it is a very warm person. The apartment has sleeping rooms and sleeping area that communicate, maybe a bit annoying for several couples, but great for families. We had a very good stay.

NIce and quite place

Charlotte and her husband are wonderful hosts, super nice, ready to help with everything at any time. The place is huge and has all you need, very nicely arranged, the view on the fjord is breathtaking and the city of Roskilde accessible by bicycle or even by foot. Copenhagen is only 25mns by train away and a train every few minutes very easy. We followed Charlotte recommended bicycle tour and had a wonderful day in the area around Roskilde. A very nice location I recommend to any visitor.

We had such a good time at the house. It was clean and cosy and the kids loved it there. The hosts were very friendly, and if we go to Roskilde again we would choose to go back to Charlotte and her family.

The house is in a beautiful location with a stunning view to the inlet 'Roskilde Fjord'. We enjoyed being right on the beach while still so close to town. The accommodation is charming, clean and match the description. Charlotte and family are lovely and very accommodating hosts.

Charlotte's place is heavenly - we didn't want to leave! If you want a peaceful stay in Roskilde with loads of space and the fjord to swim in and a dreamy private beach at the end of the garden then this is the place for you! Clean and comfortable and stylish, the place had everything we needed and Charlotte and her husband were super friendly and helpful and even gave us rides in their car to the festival and to the station. Anne's house was a great size for the price and in a good location on the edge of the local university's campus. It was less than a 10 minute walk to the local train station along a footpath all the way there and with shops, cafes and restaurants all very nearby. Anne was a very accommodating host who communicated very quickly and was flexible to our requirements and we would not hesitate to recommend her and her house as a good place to stay as a base for visiting either Roskilde or Copenhagen.

Morten's house is lovely. I didn't get why there aren't pictures of the whole house here but once we got there, it was easy to get why. Is so cozy and homie that you feel like it is your own place. You should have a car if you stay here, as it is essential to move around.

It was all as it should be. Nice and clean. Nice location on a cul-de-sac, and walking distance from the center. Parking right in front of the house. It is absolutely perfect for a quick getaway to Roskilde.

Camilla is a great host; her whole family is very kind, friendly, welcoming and helpful. Her house is located in a very calm, quiet and beautiful neighbourhood. There is a jogger's/bicycle track and a lot of open space near the house - which is at the dead-end of a residential street. There is a supermarket about 100 metres away on one of the main streets that goes right into the town on the west. Downtown Roskilde and the station is around 2 km from the house; it is a nice walk/bike ride to the town. Camilla's place is well-equipped. The room for rent has a separate entrance and is part of an annexe attached to the main house. It is quite big and comfortable, and has everything. There is also a small kitchenette, a big private bathroom, and an entrance to their main house. Overall, an excellent stay. Never felt that I was away from home!

It is my first Airbnb House and my best Airbnb House. Camilla and her family were so welcome all the time. They were so kind all the time that they even invited me to their meals so I felt like I am one of the family in one month. She shared everything she has which I appreciate a lot as a student. The room is very stylish and clean. She thought about every single detail! You can find a very organized file in the room about things that you can do in Roskilde. So peaceful and cozy all the time, you can study-work-meditate. The place is well located; you can take the bus from the door or just walk 15 min. to the city centre, there are markets you can shop and parks you can run. You can always have your own privacy. She was always there whenever I need. Even helped me with my paper works and so on... I am feeling so blessed and lucky to meet with her and the family. Perfect place for long term stays!

Nice home and perfect as a base for trips to Copenhagen and Zealand. We had two girls, and they enjoyed both the many play possibilities of the sea and the children's amounts of toys. Lovely, large kitchen / family room, inviting bathrooms - all in all a very rewarding home.

Perfect location to visit Copenhagen and its island. Roskilde is a beautiful and interesting town. Jesper's home is perfect for a family with children, spacious, bright and with a nice garden. Supermarkets and city center nearby. Perfect for traveling by bike.

The communication with Rikke was very smooth. The apartment is very cozy, especially the living room. Rikke made sure we had the essentials and was eager to accommodate our needs.

Great location within walking distance to Cathedral, Viking museum, and train station. Apartment was clean and friendly with nice open kitchen to living room area. Nice deck with harbor view. Rikke met us when we arrived and even had a nice bottle of Rose waiting for us with other treats. Left a good walking map which we used a few mornings. Would recommend it highly.

The location of the house is very good. It is about 10 minutes walk from the Cathedral and the City Hall. The house has a large terrace with a view of the cathedral spire. The parking is convenient. The landlord lives downstairs, the communication is convenient, and the house is clean.

Rikke was extremely helpful and responsive during this, as we have learned is just part of her way of hosting. The apartment has simply the best location for us. It is an easy walk in the morning for a stroll by the harbor and also very close to the center of Roskilde. Several days we were able to enjoy the unrestricted parking on the street right next to the house, and simply walk up to the city for dinner and sightseeing (The house sits on a corner and the side street does not have any parking restrictions). One of the questions in the post-rental survey asked how the apartment compared to our expectations. I had to answer that it "Was as expected" rather than a "Higher" rating........ not because there was anything wrong at all, but because when you return to the same apartment for the third time.... you know what to expect :-) Wholeheartedly recommend both host and apartment!! Book early, this one goes pretty fast!!

Very clean and comfortable apartment with all amenities and a nice terrace where you can enjoy a quiet outdoor meal. Very close to tourist attractions (such as the cathedral and the Viking museum) and supermarkets

Martin's place is highly recommended for a family stay, everything was quite organized and easy to find within the house. Kitchen has all appliances & utensils you need for cooking & baking. Its not far from town center.

Nice Danish house, and great location to visit Copenhagen and the north of the island! There is everything you need for a family (washing and drying machine, TV with USB plug and toys). The viking museum is great! The cathedral is also a must in your stay.

Great spacious house with beautiful garden from which we could pick fruit, herbs, salad :). Full of toys, our children loved it. Fully equiped kitchen. Comfortable bedrooms. Quiet and comfortable. Downstairs toilet and hall shared with renter Dan; a friendly guy who lives in the room adjoining the garden. Communication with Martin went smooth. Everything is in walking distance, the street is a dead end, so very quiet.

Martin’s Place is close to downtown in a secluded back street. We had the whole house and it was great! 1 full sized adult room and 2 single rooms, along with a kitchen and living/dining room. Bill

The house is on a quiet residential street, close to the harbor, communication with Martin was absolutely top notch and the bathroom is amazing. Very recommendable house

Peder's place is wonderful, quiet, and relaxing. The beds are very comfortable and sitting in the beautiful garden on a sunny day is lovely.

Peder is a very friendly host who is easy to chat with and makes you feel right at home. The single beds are very comfortable and the room itself is spacious.Very close to the harbour with its Viking Museum.

Louise and Mikkel's house is incredibly cozy, very child-friendly and located in a peaceful neighborhood. It was very clean and tidy and it was definitely a plus that we did not even have to bring linens and towels. If you are for shopping then Ro's Torv shopping center is within walking distance approx. 1.5 km from the house.
