We have preserved the structure of the pre-war building and rebuilt the water system. Staying in an old house allows you to experience a different kind of life than your usual daily routine. Popular tourist spots such as Omicho Market, Ozaki Shrine (dedicated to Tokugawa Ieyasu), and Oyama Shrine (dedicated to Maeda Toshiie) are within walking distance. Noto cottage "Hinoki no ie" is a wooden house with Onsen (Hot spring). Surrounded by the nature of the Noto area, it's located right in-between of Kanazawa and Oku-Noto (about 1 hour by car which is recommended) making it convenient for sightseeing. You can relax in the living room, the tatami room or the cozy open space. The bath, made of hinoki (Japanese cypress) When you step into the bathroom your whole body is enveloped in the scent of the wood. The house is also very close to the ocean.

HAKU was originally built as a farmer’s shed about a hundred years ago. It was recently relocated and renovated for another hundred years. HAKU will welcome you as traveling companions.
