This was a perfect place for us to enjoy our weekend visiting family and friends and attending a wedding. Sonia is a pleasant and thoughtful hostess and the accommodations are clean and comfortable.

We loved staying at Sonia’s quaint, beautiful home! Sonia is a friendly and welcoming host and we loved getting to meet her sweet dogs too. The rooms were cozy and clean and it was an easy drive to get to Clinton.

Sonia provides a comfortable and private one bedroom retreat in a beautiful part of New Jersey near Clinton and Flemington. Her hospitality is outstanding and she knows everything about the area where she lives, from where to find interesting restaurants to lots of things to do.

Sonia is wonderful, she is warm and welcoming but also wants you to have the rest and relaxation you desire. It was my second time there and I will be back!

Coffee in the morning was key and the bread was a nice touch. Sonia is a very thoughtful host. She even let us borrow a jacket to brave the chilly weather.

Sweet place!

I am in love with the Ken Lockwood Gorge - Probably the absolute most beautiful place in New Jersey. So finding this gem Airbnb within walking distance to my favorite spot was a dream. Tara's cottage was so perfect and quaint- an absolutely perfect little space for me and my boyfriend. She was available 100% of the time and answered all of my questions within minutes. She even messaged me within minutes of checkout to let me know I'd left something behind. There was a sweet welcome card and goodies she'd left for us. Gotta say the pellet stove was a bonus and being able to walk twenty feet out the front door to stand at the edge of the river was just beautiful. All in all, I can't say enough good things about our experience and weekend stay. Will ABSOLUTELY be back!

We had an awesome experience at Tara and Matt’s beautiful cottage. The location is stunning, and the space is so warm and inviting (the pellet stove is such a nice, cozy touch!). We loved exploring the river and nearby trails. Tara was always quick to respond and make sure we had everything we needed. Truly, an ideal stay!

Great little cozy cabin to stay in! Tara is a great host--very responsive and knowledgable. It is a nice location next to a creek--very quiet, yet with quick access to Califon. I was pleasantly surprised by the large kitchen! Overall, a wonderful place to stay!

Fantastic location, uber comfortable bed (I slept great the whole stay) and Ed’s a great guy. Great value for the money. Other reviewers have commented on the road noise but I found it soothing - like a constant white noise generator, which I think contributed to my great sleeps. Highly recommend.

Edwin was a great host and the place was an awesome value. Very close to downtown Clinton, which makes going on walks/runs very nice. Lots of places to grab food for any type of meal around the place. I would recommend this place, and I would stay here again. I had a great time talking with Ed after work.

The house is conveniently located in a charming little town with great restaurants, a wonderful art museum, and attractive little shops on the main Street. It is located within driving distance to NYC or Philadelphia so you have the best of small town as well as city experiences available. The house is clean with brightly lit rooms and the host is very personable and willing to chat if desired but he's also respectful of your privacy. I found would highly recommend staying there.

David and Kathi have a clean, gorgeous, quaint, & quiet inviting home. Very accommodating to your needs. They are very friendly and it’s extremely easy to feel right at home. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The serene setting of their home and Flemington allows one to disconnect from crazy city living. they genuinely care and go out of their way to ensure you have a peaceful and pleasant stay. You can truly feel the warmth of their beautiful home. I definitely plan to check out the trails and countryside next time I’m in town! PS - I fell in love with the heated tiles in my bathroom ;)

Wonderful hosts, lovely home.

Lan and Jason are so thoughtful and kind. We were greeted with warmth and smiles. We felt safe and comfortable. Their home is elegantly beautiful yet welcoming. Our room was spacious with beautiful furnishings and lots of storage for our belongings. The bed and bath linens are of top quality. The home is immaculate and well maintained. We look forward to our next visit. On a scale of 1-5, this was a 5 plus experience! We would change nothing.

Great place

Lan and Jason are very kind and knowledgeable people! Love life, love sports, talk to them very comfortably, and learn a lot. Lan's house is very beautiful and luxurious, with a quiet environment and pleasant scenery. The room is clean and comfortable, and it is a very warm stay.

wonderful couple great hospitality beautiful home

Owners are very friendly and keep the house very clean. The location is very quiet at night but not too quiet as the surrounding has a lot of wildlife and is great for if you are tired of city noises or traffic and would rather wake up to the sounds of birds. The owners also cook dinner but just let them know in advance if you wish to dine with them and it is definitely cheaper then eating out and great if you don't like cooking that much.

Beautiful place, fire pit was great, space was great, host were very friendly, bathrooms and bedrooms were very clean, parking and wash room were on point, beautiful neighborhood. Only cons were no tv in bedroom and the requesting of ac. Overall a very great stay for the price. Would do it again!! Thank you Lan for your hospitality:)

Quiet and serene surroundings as well as all you could ever ask for right at your fingertips.

The bed was super comfortable which is always a plus when you’re away from home! Julia showed me around the house and made myself and my friend feel comfortable. I love the key code to on our bedroom door, made me feel safe to leave my belongings. Although there were other guests it was super quiet the whole time! I would definitely return!

A great place to stay and a great host

Julia's place felt like home away from home. We stayed at the Clinton room which has a gorgeous view onto her property. We very much enjoyed using the kitchen and living room area which is intended for guests. A great experience and we look forward to returning. Julia answered all our questions promptly prior to arrival.

A great host and great place

It was very welcoming, and clean, and comfortable. It was quiet and we slept well. We appreciated having a large fenced in area for our dog to run around.

In the area for a wedding we could not have been more fortunate to find Lynn's place. So comfortable beautifully furnished + decorated. Every comfort thoughtfully provided. I consider this little cottage , “My Happy Place”! It is warm, cozy, and welcoming! Comfortably decorated, and spacious, in a very peaceful setting! The bonus, are two very interesting and welcoming hosts! An easy drive to some delightful eateries is also a treat! Well worth the stay!

June & John immediately welcome you into their home. Oh, don’t let me forget tail-wagging greeting from Royce. Happily enjoyed coffee & fruit and cheese for breakfast, but especially enjoyed lively conversation. Clean rooms and lovely fluffy towels.

I stayed with June and John for 3 months for school rotations. June and John are very nice hosts and provided tasty breakfast and were adaptable to my needs. Their dog Roycie is very well-mannered and sweet.

Stayed with June (and John) for about a month while working locally and avoiding a long commute. They are exceptionally competent and considerate hosts. The private upstairs room and shared bathrooms were very clean on check-in, fully stocked with full-size toiletries and fantastic towels, and remained so throughout my stay. June was very accommodating of my unpredictable schedule and a big help to me as a began to find my way around town. When I had some trouble with my car, John went well or if his way to help me resolve it. When I needed to do some laundry, June welcomed me to use her machines. Forgive me for not saying more / I certainly would if it wasn't so late and I wasn't already passing out as I try to write this — just know that in every way, June is a wonderful host and her home is very conveniently located. Would happily stay there again if the opportunity arises. Blue skies!

June (primary host) and John are simply wonderful people. I've been working nearby (at Alexandria Airport) since April and as the weather has gotten better (my job is weather dependent) commuting 4 hours daily from the Shawangunks in NY was really taking a toll — thus I'm so happy I found June through Airbnb, and right at the beginning of what turned out to be the busiest 13 day stretch of our season so far — allowing me to skip the commute and have a new, invaluable 'home base' only 8 or 9 minutes from work. Not only is the Pittstown location excellent (incredibly easy access to I-78, Clinton, and surrounding areas) but June's home is very welcoming and June clearly works very hard to ensure her guest enjoy their stay — the home is exceptionally clean and June regularly provides guests with fresh plush towels and linens, in addition to a super-comfy bed with plenty of pillows in their upstairs private room; complimentary full-size consumables in both of the two shared full baths (one with shower, one with a tub); and complimentary coffee, tea, and snacks. The home comes with high-speed wifi and full kitchen access to include generous reserved space in the cupboards and fridge, all tableware, placesettings, and cooking utensils, and oven, stove, microwave, and dishwasher (though June prefers you just leave yoif dishes in the sink and allow her to wash them). June also welcomes guests to use her fancy washer and dryer and provides the soap (pods) and miscellany required. June and John also have the sweetest and most mellow dog you've ever met. He's a really good boy — low maintenance, very friendly, respecting you your space if you prefer it, but happily indulging in a cuddle if you want one. My only disappointment is that June's place was already booked for the majority of my remaining work season, so I won't be able to take advantage of all on offer here through the fall. Five stars, every category. Great hosts.

June and John are lovely people, a true find. Very clean, great value for money.

I stayed just one night and the room was very comfortable. The bed was very comfy! June was very friendly and accommodating. The location was perfect for me as my event was in Piittstown and it was just outside of Clinton. The only complaint I have is the price - the fees were the same as the price of the room. I am not sure how these fees are set, but the fees made the room a bit expensive for a room in a house.

I stayed three nights at Lindsay's place. I chose the place for its proximity to where I had to be. However, it should be noted that it is quite close to Clinton, which is a cute little town with ample services. The place is huge -- living area and bathroom on the first floor, and a big bedroom on the second. There is also a washer-dryer. The kitchen is well equipped, and previous tenants have left behind a trove of necessities. High speed internet is not currently (as of 3/11/2020) not available, and this is stated in the description. In all a comfortable place and good value, and close to where I needed to be. Cannot ask for more.

Lindsay’s place allowed for snug cozy restful getaway. Appreciated quick responses and self-access to space. Super convenient to 78/22 when ventures are desired.

Large nice room (Host slept in another place while I was there.) Scrupulously clean and orderly, within a ten minute walk from the beautiful parts of Clinton, NJ. Within just a few minutes of the major highway. Safe and quiet neighborhood.

This is an outstanding location. The historic setting of the building, the beautiful gardens, and the stream which runs through the property make this a very unique location. A must visit B&B! Marcia was beyond accommodating and pleasant. The place is beyond clean and offers all updated amenities.

I really enjoyed the Neighbor House! I’ve never had breakfast served like that before! Y’all need to offer etiquette dinners for children, so they can learn how to serve so well. Beautifully maintained old home. Restful, comfortable and quiet.

This is likely one of the most beautiful locations you could rent in NJ. I rented it for one day for a bachelor party and all of us were blown away with how beautiful this was and the perfect setting that it was on offered more than we ever could have wanted. The home owner was more than cordial with us and provided history of the house along with some minor details and house rules. I would rent this again in a heart beat if ever I found myself in NJ. The home itself had good seating for my party of 8 dudes, a large and comfy yet practical kitchen, a great dining area and the outdoor fire pit area is amazing. Really, this home outdoes the pictures by far. The house was super clean and had no odors or strange old house smells. It was very pleasant.

Perfect for a party of 10. Amazing views - we spent the majority of our time outside. Place was very spacious & clean. Very prompt with communications and follow ups. Gave us a tour of the place & tips on the neighborhood. Would definitely head back!

Very good place to relax

Just stayed here over the weekend, we booked the lodge to host a cricket team. Everything was beautiful and perfect. We had ample space inside with a large kitchen that was well stocked, multiple lounge areas, spacious bedrooms and clean bathrooms. We enjoyed the outdoor fireplace all night and the beautiful river views during the day. Richard (the owner) went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. Although we were a large group, we had privacy at all times. We will definitely come back and highly recommend to anyone who would like a scenic escape.

Big house!

We travel quite a bit and this place ranks amongst the top! The owners were by far the kindest, most accommodating, hospitable folks we've booked with. Their communication was excellent. The home is absolutely gorgeous and in a lovely location just steps away from historic downtown Clinton. The home is abundantly stocked with plenty of cooking tools and amenities to make your stay perfect. It's super clean with a beautifully relaxing backyard oasis to enjoy with loved ones. We'll be back!!!

Spacious and wonderful space for a couple or small family visit. We were hiding from the summer heat and had such a comfortable, warm time playing pool and ping pong. A great short stay for us en route to another destination.

John place is amazing, so peaceful, impecable gardens and the apartment itself was perfect for our stay.

The farm is a great place to stay. It even has a ping-pong table and a pool table, and the bed was super comfy. John had thoughtfully provided lots of nice touches for our comfort and pleasure.

The accommodation is very spacious, being the whole basement area, and includes comfortable sofas and armchairs, table tennis, and a Pool table. The super size bed gives a great night's sleep, and John and Lisa generously provide cake, snacks and a bottle of wine on arrival. This is one of the best Airbnbs we have used.

John and Lisa's basement apartment is stylish and spacious, one of the very best places we have stayed in through Airbnb. Whatever your expectations, this apartment will exceed them. It contains a Pool table and a table tennis table as well as a range of comfortable easy chairs and sofas. And sitting outside in the porch, surveying John's prize sheep, is a joy. The basement apartment is full of John's thoughtful extras - drinks in the fridge, snacks on the table, tea and coffee, and he is a most helpful host, anxious to provide whatever is required. The bed is the most comfortable I have slept in. All in all, you will not be disappointed!
