Our stay at Justin's was great! Very easy check in and out. He was always available if we had questions and always asked us if there was anything we needed. In a safe location near New Orleans and for a great value! We would recommend Justin's home to any travelers looking to explore NOLA, as he knows the area very well.

Place was very cute and cozy. Perfect for our couple day trip. Wish they would’ve had a baking pan for our chicken, but other than that it was perfect. We drove but it is very close to airport and quick drive to anything you want to do in New Orleans. I highly recommend this place if if I’m ever in the area I will definitely goin again!

The space is exactly as described: small, but complete with everything the listing claims and more. It’s a three room dwelling, with a cozy bedroom (complete with TV, Hulu, Netflix and other streaming services at your disposal), kitchen with a gas stove, full size refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, cookware and utensils, and a full bath. Communication was prompt, friendly and direct, and the hosts are respectful of your personal space. Check in is remote, the neighborhood feels safe and is a quick 20 minute interstate commute to the city (French Quarter, Bourbon Street, National WWII museum, Audubon Aquarium, etc). I couldn’t recommend this place more highly to anyone looking for modest, comfortable accommodations for yourself and a partner. It’s also pet friendly, so your furry friend can come along too! So pleased with our stay here!

This is a fantastic little house for a private getaway. It’s cozy & charming. Shopping centers & restaurants are close by. The water pressure is good, has a nice kitchen area, great back porch for relaxing and is just very comfortable all around.

Outstanding place, Eric met us when we arrived. He provided us with the history of this 1929 build house. I will definitely stay there again.

Excellent location for visiting the plantations. Very spacious and beautiful house that we had for ourselves (anyway there is only one bedroom), with 2 bathrooms and kitchen, Carl brought us breakfast in the morning. Recommend if you want to stop on the road, that's what we did and we were very happy with our choice. Carl was also good advice for dinner in the evening.

Great comfortable place to stay in a beautiful historic rectory. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, and provided a great breakfast for us. The location is very near to several plantations. We also drove a bit further to do the tabasco tour and see the gardens there which were amazing. Great place to stay.

This Old Rectory is beautiful and clean... Carl and Maria were so nice and welcoming. They are at the place often ~ I just always made sure I was "presentable". The location is minutes away from Historic Plantations, so if you plan to visit the Plantations or do the tours, this location is perfect.

Kelly's cottage was a great place for us. We were centrally located to everything we needed. She provides a fully stocked home with anything you would need. The very comfortable bed was an added bonus. We look forward to staying again the next time we are in the area!

This cottage was just as described and more. Very neat and well kept. The location was perfect for visiting our friends and family. Kelly was easily accessible if need be and very friendly and helpful. My dad became ill during our visit and we were unable to leave as early as we wanted to, she was very u see standing and accommodating. Thank you miss Kelly!

Kelly’s place is an absolute yes if you’re in the Gonzales/Prairieville area! Book it before someone else does! She is a terrific hostess, with quick communication and care for the visitors. The cottage is by far one of the best choices for a short or long term stay...comfortable, easy to get to, convenient to shopping, and super clean.

Wow! I was just so impressed with this cute, cozy home! Kelly had so many special touches. The kitchen amenities were top rated and a dream for anyone loving to cook. The furniture, blankets, pillows and lighting were the highest quality. In addition, My teenage daughter and I enjoyed sitting outside and watching the sun rise each morning. Then we spent our evenings lounging on the leather couch watching our favorite Netflix shows on a big screen tv. The neighborhood, location and size was perfect. I look forward to staying here every year!

Was a nice place and close to the airport (what we were looking for), definitely a great bang for your buck! They had snacks and water in the fridge which was super cool. Shower was kind of small.

It's at least 20 minutes away from the French Quarter and there are a lot of restaurants nearby. The place was clean, easily accessible, and you barely knew that Dino was there, which I loved. The place has a great New Orleans feel to it (i.e. decorations). Thanks Dino for extending your place for the weekend!! Highly recommended.

Coolest AirBnB I've ever stayed in. Loved canoeing in the swamp and she even made some amazing food to share.

Beautiful place, with a river and a fireplace in the backyard. A canoe is provided for those who want to use it. The drive to the house is really fun. The place is very clean and has a really chill vibe to it and Stefanie is an excellent host.

If you don’t mind hanging out in the swamp, being in good company, with a great cook, a free spirit, sort of person this is the place to be.

I didn’t have the opportunity to stay here but seeing how Stefanie was able to work with me on cancelling and what not I can tell it would be a stay you won’t regret.

Highly recommend Stefanie as a hostess. She will go out of her way without sparing effort to make you stay a very pleasant one. If you enjoy the activities on the river this is the place to go. I never wanted to leave! My family was worried I wouldn’t come home from Louisiana! The house is simply gorgeous but it is also warm, inviting and a peaceful place to escape. It is a brand new Airbnb so the furnishings are in perfect condition. The owner thought of everything- light and dark towels in the bathroom (dark towels for makeup), warm and fuzzy blankets for naps and sitting on the couch, and other perfect little touches throughout the house! There were several coffee choices in the kitchen, laundry detergent and dryer sheets in the laundry. Nice to have when you are traveling for a few days and want to wash your clothes. The front porch has two rockers to relax and enjoy your morning coffee or evening cigar and nightcap. There is a record player downstairs— make sure to play a record and enjoy your stay. One of my favorite parts of the weekend was listening to the records. Neighbors are friendly, everyone waves and says hello— you might see a gentleman riding his lawn mower by the house on Sunday, dressed in his Sunday best— make sure to wave hello! I can’t wait to come back and bring my family!

This place was amazing. 30 min drive from New Orleans but we were able to Uber there so the distance was not too bad. The rooms were super clean and Trish and Israel even had travel items in case you forgot anything such as wrapper tooth brushes and mini mouth wash. They even put mini sodas and water bottles in the fridge and left out a jar of candy. It was my first Airbnb experience and I think it set the standard high for any future ones. I’ll definitely stay here again if we come to visit New Orleans again! Thanks for the amazing hospitality and quick communication.

Monica is a very thoughtful host, she had notes for us, from a welcoming note with chocolates to notes on how to work the tv. She also had a coffee station set up in the kitchen (we don’t drink coffee so we didn’t use it but thought it was very thoughtful!) Overall we had a great stay at her place!

Really nice place (clean) in a very quiet subburb

The hosts were accommodating and welcoming. The room was clean and pleasant. The only thing I would make sure future travelers note is that if you are planning on traveling into New Orleans frequently the site is about 20-25 minutes outside of the city by car and the nearest bus stop which will take you into the city is quite distance.

This is a perfect location close to the airport. While that mean planes are landing / taking off near by this side not affect my sleep at all. The shower is amazing, I wish I could have one like that in my house. It is just a very short walking to more takeaways / restaurants than I could count and just by other shops. It is closer to airport than the centre of New Orleans but Uber service was great. Only one small issue was there was not any sockets close to the pillow end of the bed. However this also happens in tons of hotels and is why I always take an extra long USB cable.

We enjoyed our stay with you and would be happy to stay with you again.

Norma was an excellent host! It literally felt like I was at home. The place is very cozy & extremely clean! Literally when you walk through the door you can smell the cleanliness. The pictures do it no justice whatsoever! It's so much more homey & beautiful in person. The small touches like bottles of water, coffee, & even the card & board games made the stay even better. Definitely worth every penny & the value was AMAZING!! The only downside I could possibly have is because they have built on to the place, you can sometimes hear movement from their side. But it wasn't obnoxious at all. Still quieter than a lot of hotels. I would go back! Highly recommend.

Our stay at Norma's lovely home was outstanding! The neighborhood is very nice, close to stores, restaurants, and café du monde is just down the street instead of standing in line for 2 hours in the FQ. The home is adorable, we lived the furnishings, all the cute items to look at, the boys liked the slot machine and everything was absolutely sparkling clean. Norma was thoughtful to leave eggs and breakfast items in the fridge for us, the kitchen is well appointed although we did not use it. The bathroom is very clean, the shower is wonderful and Norma had Dove products provided for guests such as shampoo and conditioner, we thought that was a great touch since most do not supply this. We had a relaxing and wonderful stay and would love to stay again next time we are in the area, thank you again Norma!

Norma was a very welcoming and informative host. Her home was very clean with great amenities. The house is 20 minutes from downtown. There are some really nice restaurants in the vicinity like Finserman's Cove Seafood. There is also a Wal-Mart nearby. The walls are thin in the kitchen so you can hear their conversation as well as dog. The driveway is a little narrow. The pros outweigh the cons. My group enjoyed the stay and we stay here again.

Cajun Paradise... is exactly what you will get when you stay here. This place is in the quiet swamps on the outskirts of New Orleans. About 30 minutes from the city. We enjoyed our time here and Kent & Shi were great hosts. Kent went out of his way to help us and was very quick with responses. When you stay here make sure you’re ready for the bugs that come with it! Beautiful place with cool neighbors too!

Amazing stay! Kent is as very responsive, by letting us know which delivery services and ride share apps work best at this location. He is a very honest guy and even refunded us a portion of our payment for something that was totally our fault. Will definitely be staying again!

It was exactly what we expected and was just as it was previewed, the neighbor across the street was also really nice to us and it was a great time!

This place was very very clean. The awesome smell was the first thing to hit me when I walked through the door. Communication was thorough and prompt. Perfect nook for one person. I was a tad cold last night but followed one review and brought my own blanket. The neighborhood is a good ride to the French quarters so if you plan on taking Uber, I strongly suggest finding some place closer! At first glance, the neighborhood seems sketchy but there’s a motion light on the porch and I didn’t have any issues. I would recommend this spot for an overnight stay in NOLA.

Wow! What a great place. The location is so close to the airport it’s unreal. The apartment is clean and just perfect! I appreciated the parking in the front as I had a rental car. Check- in was super easy. Driving to the French Quarters from the air bnb was no problem. When I visit Nola again, I hope this space is available.

Only stayed here for one night by myself, but the place was exactly what I needed. Good for 2 people who are close with each other because all the rooms connect. Very spacious, big kitchen and close to gas stations, food and airport. Would absolutely stay here again.

Dacias house is very close to the airport, it is quite a trek to the French quarter but nice if you want a quiet area. The rooms were spacious and clean, everything smelled just washed (which i love). She lets you store your luggage if you get there early, which is a plus. Also the washer/dryer was great because we didn't go home with dirty clothes and communication with her was 10000%

This place was super cute. It was small and cozy but the atmosphere was welcoming and outstanding. The pictures didn’t do it justice. The rooms were very spacious. The living room was so cute with its decor. The washer/dryer was really helpful. Everything about this stay was excellent except the noisy neighbors and their noisy dog who barks at the worst hours.

This was a great little cabin. The grounds were absolutely amazing. The place was very clean and comfy. The only recommendation I have is to provide a better curtain for the bath tub. It does not work well to keep water off the wood floors while showering and is made of cloth.. Otherwise, I highly recommend this cabin.

This place is SUPER CUTE and bigger than expected! Nestled amongst the oaks, very quiet (except there is a train that passed at some point through the night but really no big deal). Bed was really comfortable. Has a little back porch we hung out on. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!

The cottage is a nice place for a getaway and with a discount on the tour of the Plantation to hear about the history of the place you really get to understand the area better.

This is Such a cool place. The space has so many special little touches. Melissa was excellent at communication. She gave us some great recommendations of where too eat. The bed was very comfy and the space was very clean.

This was a great find! Super close to all the plantations along River Road & less than 30 minutes away from New Orleans. It was quiet and private and quite unique to stay on the grounds of a historical plantation. Melissa is a wonderful and thoughtful hostess and even left us a sweet Valentine’s Day treat. We enjoyed touring plantations one day and spent the other day in the city parading (it is Mardis Gras season after all!). The cottage had all the comforts we needed and more!

I really enjoyed the stay very clean and smoking hot streaming Internet. This place is perfect for 2 working people passing through town. Plenty of parking in the long lot, great back yard the enjoy. The beds are very comfortable and the AC was as cold as you wanted it. Even the bathroom was great with strong water pressure and roomy shower. Lakita was very pleasant and I enjoy our conversations and she’s not gonna bother you. I only saw her once. I will return and hope she has an opening in the future. See you next year!

Lakita is an amazing host with a good soul. Her hospitality and good spirit made my family's trip to Louisiana a great one. She is responsive, good natured, and knowledgeable about the area. She gave us countless reccomendations for sight seeing, restaurants, and fun things to do with our little boy. She even offered for our son to have a playdate with her children. We have never felt more welcomed by a host. Furthermore, her place was sparkling clean and an excellent value. She checked in to make sure that we were comfortable, and also made sure we were safe and secure in her home. I highly reccommend staying here. You will have a delightful experience. I would come back in a heartbeat!

The place is really nice, and Alexa is used to turn the lights on/off in the main areas of the house. It is a great place to stay if you have pets. Clayton is an amazing host, and he will make sure that you have every and anything you need.
