The apartment was renovated according to ecological renovated from an ecological point of view and has an ingenious indoor climate (clay walls, solid wood floors). It is quietly located and only the sound of the Werra can be heard when the windows are open and lulls you to sleep. We live in the countryside with lots of greenery and fresh air and free spirit and are open to guests. The bake house, with traditional furnishings, wood-burning stove, sleeping loft and completely timeless comfort, is located separately on the property. Next to the residential building (40 m away) is the modern bathhouse for the exclusive use of our guests. In our house, we read a lot, philosophize, drink good wine and take care of the essentials in life, purely minimalist! Adventure instead of luxury.

Der rote Bauwagen am Dorfrand bietet Behaglichkeit für deine Auszeit. Zeit zum Runterzukommen und um das einfache Leben in der Natur zu genießen. Schöne Wanderwege laden zum Entdecken ein. Hügel, Seen oder Wälder - du wählst. Der Bauwagen hält alles für eine entspannte Atmosphäre bereit: Waschtisch, Herdplatte, Kühlschrank. Im Doppelbett 1,40 cm oder auf dem gemütlichen Sofa kannst du dich erholen. Im Winter duschst du in unserer separaten Ferienwohnung warm. Der Holzofen hält dich warm.

Vacation in the countryside

On our listed 300 year old farm we offer: two separate apartments for each 4 persons, with kitchen-living room, bathroom and bedroom with two floors each and about 50 square meters each. We are situated in the Südeichsfeld, a plush hilly low mountain landscape. Nature and surroundings invite you to hike or cycle. Draisine riding, visiting castles, climbing forest, a visit to the bear park Worbis or excursions to nearby half-timbered cities are popular excursion destinations.

Modern guest house "Seenah" and close to the city

The annex was completely expanded in 2019. It has become a real gem and we are pleased to offer this modern guest apartment in a prime location. In the immediate vicinity is the swimming lake at the leisure center, but Lake Werra is also just a short walk away. On the way there is an EDEKA supermarket. And the city center of Eschwege can also be reached in 25 minutes on foot. Around Grebendorf there are a number of hiking and cycling trails.

The cottage is quietly located between pasture and the edge of the forest, right by the Hoher Meissner hiking area. 7.5 km from the Heilbad Sooden-Allendorf an der Werra. On 60 m² there are two bedrooms with double beds, a living room with a cozy fireplace and sofa bed as well as a well-equipped kitchen and shower room. Family Waldkauz's guest house in the middle of the forest

Our accommodation is located in the middle of Germany, close to Kassel and surrounded by nature. You will love it because of the heavenly tranquility, the gateway to the forest and yet only 20 km away from Kassel by car or tram. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups. Unless they are uncontrollable fighting dogs, animals are welcome to us and regularly feel very comfortable.
