  • Super cute & cozy space to get away - especially for couples but great for families too! Great location to yummy eats & local things to do! The place is SUPER CLEAN & decorated SO CUTE!! Heatha thought of everything - even down to the bubble bombs for the bath. We had everything and more that we needed. The fire pit and outdoor space is so nice and relaxing! We did a maternity shoot at some local spots and enjoyed our special time together. Highly recommend!!

  • My husband and myself enjoy our stay at Heathas cabin. It was clean, comfortable and cozy. It also had some nice personal touches that make it all its own. We would recommend stay in Heathas place to anyone of our friends and family!!

  • My boyfriend, our dog, and I enjoyed our stay very much. The cottage had everything we needed to grill and cook in the kitchen. It was very clean and updated, fresh flowers, and so many DVDs! We played board games and spent time by the fire inside and the camp fire outside. Perfect size for the three of us during our little vacation. We will definitely be back.

    Liz2019-10-11T00:00:00Z
  • Very cozy place to stay!

  • Such a charming place! It was perfect for me during a solo trip. The kitchen had all the things i needed for cooking and the bathroom was super clean with great shower pressure. The cottage is stocked with lots of books, games, and movies should you find yourself in need of any of those. The fire pit outside was wonderful. The yard is quite big which is nice if you're going with a group. The neighborhood was generally quiet too.

    Nicole2019-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful cottage inside and out! Screened in porch was nice to sit in and have a morning cup of coffee and keeps the bugs out at night when you wanna sit out and play cards. Kitchen was stocked with everything you’ll need to cook and the bathroom was amazing! Fire pit outside is great too and plenty on chairs to gather round plus they supply your firewood! Plenty of great dvds from classics, to comedy, to horror there was something for everyone. Endless amounts of games to play and plenty of blankets and pillows. They truly thought of everything you’ll need and we hope to be back next summer!!

  • Our stay at Doug and Karen’s was nothing short of a perfect getaway. From letting us borrow hiking gear, to the mini fridge in our room having some welcome wine, to Karen baking extra cookies for us to eat, their hospitality was warm and unmatched. The room has endless towels and amenities and feels super private. We were able to use their kitchen and make dinner, as well as their hot tub (robes included!) which was such a treat. We snuggled with their dog by the wood stove who is such a sweet girl and the stars were beautiful. There is a yummy cafe/pub down the road with free coffee and tea and all types of food. Doug and Karen’s is also a 7 minute drive to Bear Brook State Park! Doug gave us excellent directions and tips. Overall our stay in Deerfield was wonderful and we will definitely be back.

    Shayla2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • Among the best Airbnb’s I‘ve ever been to. Doug and Karen are just the nicest people. The room comes with a fridge full of complimentary beverages, the bathroom is fully stocked with everything you might have forgotten while packing. Plus Karen fixes awesome breakfast and you get to stay in a historic farmhouse that is older than the country. Great place to unwind.

    Jörg2020-02-12T00:00:00Z
  • Doug and Karen are wonderful people and host. Both me and my mother felt very welcomed and cozy in their home. Karen makes a fantastic breakfast and tells you the best stories. Doug is very friendly and helpful. They even made a trail for us to go snow shoeing in the woods behind their home. We have no complaints, only good things to say about our host and the home.

    Darianette2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • Hands down one of the best Air BNB experience I’ve had! She made me breakfast every morning! And it was amazing! She even came out and helped me clear the snow from my car! The home is full of fun history and super beautiful!

    Kristin2019-12-17T00:00:00Z
  • Great breakfasts, very informative about local sites and events. Nice quiet place in the country.

    Ellen2019-10-21T00:00:00Z
  • We were honored to be guests at Leavitt Hill Farm. Doug and Karen were the best hosts you could ask for. The breakfast was excellent and their hospitality was impeccable and genuine. We will differentially stay with them again when we visit New Hampshire.

    Karen2019-10-12T00:00:00Z
  • Doug and Karen have a huge footprint. I just walked around a small part, a two-story tool room, a lot of machinery and tools I haven't seen before, and Doug took me one by one. Their home has a history of nearly 200 years, with many old furniture, clean and comfortable. Doug and Karen also asked us to eat turkey, and the breakfast was very rich. I talked to them for a long time, gained a lot, and improved my English ability. Thanks to Doug and Karen for giving us a warm rest stop, a comfortable home during our trip around the United States.

Lakefront living on Northwood lake. Slide the glass doors open from the living room or master bedroom to access deck overlooking the lake. Enjoy swimming, fishing, and kayaking right off the dock. A built in fire pit sits along the lake on a good size side yard. Indoor gas fireplace does not work.
  • Breathtaking views! Will definitely come back.

  • We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again at this location. It was very pretty, clean and quiet.

    Lisa2019-11-29T00:00:00Z
  • This is an outstanding space and location. We travelled to NH to "leaf peep". This location looks better than the pictures. There is a very nice grocery just 20 mins away. The outside fire pit is choice. Make sure to pick up a few bundles of wood. It is super quiet and stocked with beautiful views. Well stocked including washer/dryer. We have used Airbnb all over the country and this has to be one of the best listings where we have been.

    Mark2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • Wow! Great way to wake up! Great location on the lake. We had a great time enjoying the lake house. We can’t wait to return in the summer. Thank you so much.

The mountain is for your enjoyment to hike. As I raise Labradors I would ask you not hike in the field down below.A folder of all activities is available at the cabin. Boat launch, state parks ,banks, restaurants, grocery stores and anything else as needed
    No parties
  • If you are looking for a private and peaceful place to enjoy the woods, you've found it. The Owl's Roost is thoughtfully designed and masterfully crafted! My wife and I stayed for a weekend in October to celebrate her birthday and thoroughly enjoyed comfortably unplugging. We've stayed in cabins and treehouses before and we found this one to be the perfect mix of comfort and rusticity. The kitchen is fully equipped and the restroom functions just like a normal house. There are plenty of trails to explore a few hundred acres of gorgeous land. Melinda was an absolute treat to chat with and the check-in process was seamless. We also enjoyed meeting Dennis, who helps out around the property and knows it extremely well. Exceptional views, tremendous craftsmanship in the construction, wonderful people! Book it today. -Mike and Katelin

    Michael2019-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • Melinda's Owl's Roost is a one of a kind! Nature at it's finest and the cabin is most impressive. If you love cabins and fine detailed woodwork this is definitely the place for you. Relaxing, peaceful, quaint and wildlife. Melinda was a fabulous host.

    Mimi2019-10-28T00:00:00Z
  • This airbnb is truly an amazing find and I highly recommend it. Melinda was great - quick responses and helpful at check-in (i.e. showing us to the cabin and getting the wood-stove started!). The cabin is actually larger than we expected and was perfect for a romantic getaway. Breathtaking views from the top of the lighthouse! It did get cold so we had to be vigilant about keeping the wood-stove going at night, but it wasn't a problem for us. The one negative was the amount of bugs (lady bugs and flies) in the cabin - if that's something that isn't your jam, be advised. With all of that said, I'm hoping to go back again next year!

    Brandon2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • I cannot oversell this place. It was beautiful and surrounded by tons of forest. Melinda is a world-class host and instantly made us feel at home. She was attentive and thoughtful with all the touches in the cabin. And who doesn't want to stay in a lighthouse? This place is a must do.

    Alexis2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • We have yet to be disappointed by any Airbnb experience, but this one was so special and rejuvenating. I would say it’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience, but I hope we can return someday! Beautiful retreat.. all of the advantages of camping, with none of the struggle 😊

    Jenna2019-08-30T00:00:00Z
  • Owls Roost is a unique experience for anyone looking to escape the every day sounds that surround us; something you cant really appreciate until you're there! It was a serene get away with lots of views and wild life; complete with a family of turkeys me and my partner got to see! We enjoyed sitting by the wood stove with a glass of wine at night and the off the grid feels; using lanterns and flashlights to find our way around. It was certainly a weekend to remember!

    Chris2019-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay in Melinda’s cabin exceeded all of our expectations! The photos shown don’t nearly do the magic of this place justice. I’ll be honest, we were a bit skeptical driving up the long dirt road at sunset in a Prius (not the best vehicle choice for this drive), but the adventure is so worth the destination! Every detail is beautifully designed, with views of the incredible property outside every window. Although there’s no electricity, there is running hot water for the shower and sink, a flushable toilet, a gas powered stove and fridge, and fixings for coffee. What more could you need? Coming from the Los Angeles, it was a much needed break from the distractions of electronics, and an amazing opportunity to reset mind, body, and soul.

    Christine L2019-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • Melinda’s place is absolutely stunning, though there is no electricity we didn’t even notice with the beautiful forest around us. The owls roost had an absolutely amazing view from every angle. Hope to be back soon :)

Inside includes reading areas, dvds, wifi, books, coloring books, puzzles, games. Enjoy the rowboat or bring your own boat and tie up to the dock. We are on Antique Ally and many State Parks nearby (one is 2 miles away). Enjoy a day at Chucksters, visiting Concord, Portsmouth or the lakes region. Most importantly enjoy the LAKE LIFE!

Come get away to Echo Hill Farm, a traditional New England-style farm built in 1782. With a private entrance into the guest suite you can come and go as you please during your stay. Relax in the living room with a cup of coffee, while you watch fish jump in the pond behind the house. Centrally located, the mountains, the lakes region or the ocean are only an hour away from this quiet locale. There's even a farm-based Brewery 0.5 miles down the road with Pleasant Lake only 2.5 miles.
The guest suite contains the following amenities: bedroom with queen bed, secondary room with twin bunk bed, 2 bureaus, 1 closet, coffee-maker, private bathroom with shower-tub, free wifi access, independent A/C and Heater, and living room with couch and table. The vision for our guest suite is a place to unplug and unwind - for this reason we DO NOT PROVIDE a TV and/or Cable access. There is wifi access but again NO TV(s) or Cable. The space is cozy and small and the bunk bed room isn’t an actual second bedroom, but a secondary space with a curtain separating it from the living room. There is a wall mounted AC unit in the queen bedroom but we provide only oscillating fans for other rooms. There is a washer and dryer but is not to be used by guests unless discussed with us. Please note: no pets are allowed.
Echo Hill Farm is out-of-the-way on a rural country road nestled within thick trees and a few scattered fields. It's quiet, and secluded - but we think that's part of it's unique charm. There's a local brewery walking distance away and is a few miles from two beautiful lakes.
  • Lovely setting, very cozy and comfortable accommodations

    Karen2020-02-11T00:00:00Z
  • Great getaway location, and it's not too hard to get there from Manchester or Concord. Would gladly recommend this place for a group of 2-4 people!

    Edward2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • The perfect place to unwind and unplug. The living room space is cozy, the bed is super comfortable, and the lights around the pond make for enchanting evening viewing. Craft beer fans will be interested to know that there's a brewery less than half a mile down the road. If you're going to get snowed in, get snowed in within walking distance of beer.

    Ryan2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • This house was nothing short of adorable! Not only was it charming, but very clean with thoughtful hosts. It was a perfect quiet old house to watch the snowfall in New Hampshire!

    Diana2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • If you’re looking for a quiet and beautiful getaway, this is it. It couldn’t have been more picture perfect, especially in the winter! The host was amazingly responsive and kind. Nice touches to the house were spot on. A must stay!

    Vinothmathavan2019-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • Peter and Sara Britt's space is a charming guest suite in an old farmhouse. They have put a lot of work into making the space comfy and cozy. Off the beaten path so it's nice and quiet but just minutes to local attractions. Beautiful yard that would be great to sit outside and enjoy in warmer weather. They were great hosts and if we need to stay in the area again, we will return.

    Fred & Kathi2019-12-28T00:00:00Z
  • You won't be sorry!! <3 What a GEM! Loved Sara-Britt's place. Cozy, comforting, peaceful, beautiful! Comfy bed, aesthetic atmosphere. I didn't want to leave! I used the space for a single overnight away, as a retreat to write and think, read and make some art. Was perfect! You'll love the charm. And Sara-Britt is great with communication! A mini fridge and microwave made eating simple meals a breeze. A lovely home and lovely host. Can't wait to return!

  • Very cozy house, super responsive host.

    Jared2019-12-15T00:00:00Z
  • Amanda is very accommodating host. She was able to help us out when our last Airbnb fell through.

    Coralee2019-11-24T00:00:00Z
  • The four of us had a nice getaway at Amanda's spot. While the Airbnb is right next to Amanda's home, it still feels relatively private when you're by the firepit or in the Airbnb. We really enjoyed the hot tub access too. Considering the price, it was a great find for us, especially since we booked last minute for a holiday weekend.

    Rachel2019-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • The fire pit was the best part - definitely bring wood and marshmallows!

    Anna2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • Amanda was very warm and welcoming. She made sure we could make the most of our visit. The house was compact and had a beautiful view. We enjoyed the hot tub and the drive to the house was beautiful and we witnessed all fall colors along the way. The house is equipped with a unique armchair where you can sit and enjoy a quiet time and you can get food delivered at home too. Make sure you get access to the hot tub as it not exactly in the same house. Rest it is all good 👍

Our property is located in the heart of downtown Exeter, NH, and is the yellow building shown in the cover picture, (yes, it's an Island) with wonderful views of the Squamscott River. The 700 square foot suite has one "great room" with a separate bedroom and bath. A lot of amenities come with the apartment as well: BOSE Stereo, Flat screen TV, and electric fire place. The property is quiet, serene, and in walking distance to all of the local shops and restaurants. Enjoy!
  • Jeff's Exeter retreat is one of the best airbnb's I have ever had the pleasure of renting. In fact, I am extending my stay. Jeff's taste is impeccable, the views are magical and the location is absolutely ideal in this charming NH town. I cannot recommend this apartment highly enough...

    Kevin2020-03-19T00:00:00Z
  • Jeff's place is fantastic! It's ideally located in the center of town, walking distance to all of the shops and restaurants. The apartment is spacious, the bed is exceptionally comfortable, and the river views/sounds make you feel like you are are glamping in the middle of the city. Jeff was a great host who made the entire experience enjoyable. We will be back!

  • Our stay at Kimball Island was great! The views are unlike any other and you can’t beat the sounds of the river. The place was clean, had everything we needed, and was walking distance to shops, restaurants, the academy, and more. Jeff was responsive and very helpful with local recommendations. We went to The Green Bean and it was delicious! Would highly recommend, and can’t wait to come back!

  • Molly was a perfect host. Her home was everything we needed to set up a home base for a beautiful wedding. Quiet, clean, comfortable and a great location. Her dog Sparky was a wonderful addition. So cute!

  • Great place. Recommended.

    Keith2019-08-21T00:00:00Z
  • Molly'splace is great! The grounds are beautiful, the house is an old farmhouse restored beautifully, a little out of the way and very private but is still close to everything. I reserved the room for my family to visit and they were incredibly comfortable and very happy.

    Christine2019-08-03T00:00:00Z
  • Molly was a wonderful host and her farm was the perfect idyllic retreat. Every room has been carefully decorated and every detail has been painstakingly curated. We enjoyed a blissful weekend in the mountains as Molly went out of her way to take care of us. I cannot recommend this listing more highly!

    Yanky2019-07-07T00:00:00Z
  • Unfortunately me and my group couldn’t enjoy Molly’s farm due some migratory problems (1 Mexican , 1 Costa Rican and 1 French from Montreal) so we notified Molly about this and she was very understandable about it. For sure once all our paperwork gets approved we will for sure come back to Molly’s, she has a big heart. Thanks Molly.

    Chaitanya2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Mary had a nice, clean spot for a good place to rest. I was in town only for the night as I was taking a speciality test in Concord at a Prometric center. Only 10 minutes from the testing site. It was a good spot to get to bed early, take a warm shower in the morning, and have a cup of coffee. She had a nice selection of Keurigs and a refrigerator to keep food in overnight.

I do wish there was cooking access but there is allot of eateries less than a mile away. The room was very cozy and the bed was wonderful. The bath although shared is lovely and clean! Enjoyed my stay for sure.

  • Mary is the best Air BnB host I’ve ever had. She bends over backwards to accommodate any and all of your needs. The room I had was quaint, cozy, and clean - exactly as it was advertised online. I had several fantastic conversations with Mary, and I’ll be sure to stay there again next time I am in Concord!

You'll love my place because of it's ambiance and location as part of a permaculture farm-you can pick blueberries in the summer; apples and pears in the fall. My house is fifteen minutes away from the University of New Hampshire, a little further east are the seacoast beaches and the engaging town of Portsmouth for shopping, theatre and dining out. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and faculty and students for long or short stays.
The house is uniquely constructed in the design-build manner of the 1970s and 1980s. The entrance is on the top floor into a living area; adjacent is a big bedroom with queen bed, armoire, desk and chair, and a mini-couch that converts to a small bed. There are also two single beds in the upper living area Stairs from the upper living level bring you to the first floor living room with couch, chairs, television and office area. The attached greenhouse, kitchen, master bedroom and bathroom makeup the rest of the first floor of my house. With a queen bed, a full bed and two single beds the house can sleep six adults comfortably.
My place is in a quiet, rural neighborhood. You can take country walks to Lucas Pond or to Woodsman Forest and beyond.
  • Sonia’s place was an adorable quiet place for me and my sisters to relax. Close enough to Salem and Portland for day trips. We hiked the boulder field per Sonia’s recommendation and it was lovely.

    Claire2019-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay was great. My brothers & I were in the area for a family reunion and this was a great spot for us to stay and hang out. The grounds are beautiful and we loved building a fire every night. The house had plenty of space and is fun & funky, as expected, and we were so happy to have found this spot for our weekend.

    Rebecca2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • Sonia’s home was the first of our east coast vacation. The home is nestled in a quiet neighborhood but very close to a grocery store if needed. We ate apples picked off the tree out from and had a groundhog visitor in the back that my 2 year old daughter loved. This was also a short drive to Concord. Great home!

    Monique2019-09-11T00:00:00Z
  • Gorgeous setting and a wonderful place away from home.

  • Great Cozy little spot. The land is beautiful. The Host and the neighbors were amazing. Great communication and quick responses. It was just what our family needed.

    Buddy2019-08-30T00:00:00Z
  • What a spot! It was easy to get to off the main drag, plus there were stores and gas stations close by. Sonia was easy to reach, and gave us an additional contact as well. The space itself was better than we'd hoped--it was much bigger and was nice since we had two couples, so we were able to have separate areas for privacy. My husband was ready to move in the second he got there, he loooved the style, decor, and gardens! Plus it was close to Portsmouth (where we were planning a day trip), which was super convenient!

You will be staying in 1884 New Englander wth plenty of places to walk and hike nearby. Your room is comfortable, spacious and restful. It's the sort of place that will renew you after a day out playing or a day at a conference. Many guests have stayed here while looking for permanent housing in the area or as a place to live while in Concord for a week or more. Concord is central to NH and a great place to stay when you want mountains, beach and comfort all in one day.

Come stay off the beaten path and high up on the hill! We own a 15 acre hobby farm on the shoulder of Locke’s Hill in humble Epsom, NH. Enjoy a beautiful view of the property in your own secluded space, with cozy rustic charm. Twenty minutes from concord, 35 minutes from Portsmouth, a local nano-brewery 3 miles down the road, and NH’s most popular apple orchard a skip further, there’s a lot to do and see and no better place to relax. Let us treat you to country hospitality up on the farm.
  • Can’t even express how happy my boyfriend and I were staying here! It honestly inspired us with renovations at our home, it was so clean, stylish, and homey. It even had a great view. We wish we could’ve stayed longer! The host was also amazing and gave us tips on where to eat, and also checked in on us to make sure everything went okay. We would definitely love to stay here again! Great job to the host... most definitely exceeded our expectations!

  • Ian and Meli’s place was, in our opinion, better than the pictures portrayed. Very cute, clean and stylish in-law type apartment over a garage. All the amenities were amazing and the decorations were very homey. Exactly what we hoped for during our stay in NH. Also, the Main St restaurant that was recommend had amazing food and even better service and only 12 minutes away.

    Kiera2020-01-26T00:00:00Z

The carriage house is a small guest cottage just a few steps from the lake. The cottage consists of one bedroom with a queen bed, a large bathroom with shower, a full kitchen, and a great front porch with a view of the river and lake. It's in a quiet location on a private, dead end, dirt road with just three other homes. It's best suited for a single person or couple looking for a quiet escape.
The cottage is cozy, convenient to the lake, and, because the huge front porch doubles as the livingroom, is geared toward those who want to spend time outdoors. Lake access is a few steps from the front door. You can fish off the dock, bring your kayak or canoe so you can explore the lake, or simply sit by the water or campfire with a book or a glass of wine. The local country store, which has all the necessities, is 2 miles from the cottage; the nearest supermarket is 9 miles up the road. There are several good restaurants within a 15-minute drive. It's a 30-minute drive to Concord (the NH state capitol) and about 60 minutes to ocean beaches or outlet shopping in Kittery, Maine. If you're a hiker, Mount Major trails are 20 minutes away, and it's an easy day drive to the White Mountain National Forest.

Described by guests as a waterfront paradise, this is a 12 X 12 foot Tiny House room 20 feet from the shore of the Merrimack River in New Hampshire. Comfortable, affordable and rustic with easy access to all the area has to offer. Hiking, snow and water skiing, the ocean, Boston; all within a one hour drive. Only 4 miles to the center of Manchester and Concord is only 12 miles North. We are just off the highway so finding us is easy. A peaceful and convenient place to rest in the center of NH.
The room has large 4 foot by 5 foot sliding windows on all four sides. Several can be opened to let the cool prevailing breeze flow through. They can also be closed during cooler days. An electric heater and a propane fireplace are provided for heat but there is no air conditioning. Your private bathroom is just a few feet away in a separate building. Be aware that the toilet is a COMPOSTING TOILET. That means that it does not use water and does not flush. Instead you will pour wood shavings onto the bottom of the toilet when finished. This toilet works very well and does not smell. We use this type of toilet because we are very close to the river and want to be environmentally safe. Access to the water is available from May 1st through October 31 or as weather allows. Please note that there is no lifeguard and you will swim at your own risk (this is what the lawyer says I must state). Water access is via a stairway which leads to the shoreline or to the dock. As a public waterway there are boats and other water craft passing by during the day. Keep in mind that the Tiny House is part of my back yard. It is about 50 feet from our patio but has its own private patio with a grill and farmers sink with hot and cold running water during summer months only. You may hear us as we sit on our patio overlooking the river while we eat and socialize, but you can't see us from your patio. Feel free to come by and say hello.
We live on 2.5 acres of land with plenty of space between our neighbors and us. The Tiny house has its own waterfront and a dock is available during the summer to sit and enjoy the view.
  • My partner and I had a fantastic time! The view from the tiny house is amazing and we were able to cook our dinners using the grill, which was very convenient.

Modern lines and minimalist decor highlighting the beautiful outdoors of New Hampshire make this room in a sometimes shared apartment feel like camping with all the amenities of an urban location. We have a 6 car driveway, a medium sized, fenced in yard for energetic pups and kids to run around in, and are only a half a mile from the down town strip. This room is one of two listings we have on AirBnB, both are part of an apartment above ours, and are available for simultaneous rentals if you PM
Our other listing is another bedroom in the same apartment. DM me for rental options for both units!
We are less than a mile from the downtown strep, the walk includes beautiful churches and parks. There are corner stores with basic amenities nearby, and a Bagel Cafe open until mid afternoon less than a block away
  • Very nice

    Elizabeth2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • The room/bathroom/kitchen all are clean and amazingly spacious, bed is very cozy, it got a little cold the first night but my room had a portable heater, only took 10 minutes to warm up. There’s a tv with HDMI cable so if you bring a laptop you can watch Netflix. Location is great, less than a mile to downtown, bus stop less than a block away. There is a convenience store and asian market right around the corner, and a bagel shop for breakfast. Very quiet, only two rooms on the floor. Real good value for money! 5 stars stay and 5 stars host.

  • I was lucky enough to stay at the loft while I was in the process of relocating for work. I stayed a little over a month and I could not have been more pleased with my stay! Mike and Amy are amazing hosts. The loft is very clean and comfortable. You can stream your favorite shows or watch local TV through Hulu. If you’re lucky you’ll come home to some of Amy’s amazing baked goods as a special surprise! I also was lucky enough to stay at Mike and Amy’s loft during what is most certainly the strangest time we’ve seen during our lifetime. I can’t thank Mike and Amy enough for their hospitality and willingness to be amazing hosts during a time of uncertainty. I will always remember the loft in Derry and I will remember it fondly.

  • Great place to stay, very cute and inviting! Clean, quiet and close to amenities. They had a lot of things available to you in case you had forgotten to pack something, which was so nice! We felt like guests in the apt instead of people just passing by. Would definitely come back!

  • I had the pleasure of staying here and it was perfect for me. Warm, cozy and inviting. The loft was immaculate and they provided some nice touches - a breakfast muffin and chocolate chip cookies upon arrival in addition to toiletries if you forgot to pack them. Comfortable bed and couch, the ambiance makes you want to just hang out and relax.

    Susan2020-02-11T00:00:00Z
  • Mike and Amy’s place is gorgeous, stylish, and cozy. The bed and the sofa bed are super comfortable, the shower is hot, and the space is immaculate. This was the most accommodating airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. We hope we can visit again!

  • I wouldn't be able to think of a critique for Mike & Amy's place even if I tried. From start to finish, this stay was fabulous. The local information, charming decor, fresh pastries, and generous lines of communication were perfect. Stay here! You will not regret it!

    Christopher2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • I was there for a work-related trip. The place was spotless and super cozy and comfortable (it's hard to me to get comfortable in new beds, but this one was great)! Enjoyed the cookies and muffins they left for me and vegging on couch during downtime from deadlines. Mike was very friendly and quick to respond to any questions. I enjoyed my stay!

  • We picked Amanda's place for three main reasons-- hot tub, pool, quiet area. It was the perfect mix for a quick two day getaway. The guest house is rustic and charming (lots of wood and barn feels) and it is surprisingly spacious! Fully kitchen and a cute little deck for outdoor dining. Would recommend and consider a second trip!

This sunny, private suite with a separate entrance and driveway is convenient to everything. If you are going to a concert at the Arena, working downtown, visiting Elliot Hospital, or needing a place to stay while in the Manchester area, it is the place for you. A microwave, refrigerator, coffee pot, sitting area, and dining table make meals easy. Your full bathroom comes with soft towels and a hairdryer. The bedspread is washed between guests to ensure your stay is comfortable and clean.
The door has keyless entry so late check-ins are no problems. The key code is changed between guest and messaged to you on your day of arrival. Hosts live on-site so problem resolution is quick and easy, but the suite is so private that interaction with the host is only as desired by you. We love this city and are happy to provide recommendations on restaurants and things to do. There are multiple spaces in this large suite allowing for flexible use; a sitting area with a couch and coffee table, a workspace with a desk and padded chair, and a four-person dining table and chairs. You control the air conditioning and heat of the suite through independent thermostats. This provides you with the freedom to create the perfect temperature. The 32 inch, smart TV allows you to use your personal Hulu and Netflix account or watch the local channels with the antenna. There is no cable. The suite is in a safe part of town and is convenient to major highways, the Manchester-Boston airport, hospitals, Derryfield Country Club(public golfing), and all of the entertainment and dining options of downtown. There are sidewalks straight into downtown from the suite and restaurants start before you get to town. If you prefer to ride, Hanover Hill is a high Uber activity area, so you never have to wait more than five minutes. Also, there are lots of meal delivery options for those nights when you just want to stay in and have someone else cook for you. .8 miles to Hannaford grocery store .5 miles to Elliot Hospital and 1.6 miles to Catholic Medical Center 1 mile to the restaurants and bars of Elm Street 1.3 miles to SNHU Arena 1.3 miles from Deka Research and Development 1.6 miles from University of New Hampshire Manchester Under 2 miles to Interstate 93 and Highway 101 4.2 miles to MHT airport and 48 miles to Logan International Airport On the bus route
The suite is located in the back of a white ranch built in 1956 for a doctor and his family. It is located at the top of Hanover Hill in an established residential area. There are several churches and convenience stores within walking distance. The two-lane street where the house is located is busy during the day because it is one of the main streets heading into town, but quiet at night.

The fully furnished year round, pet friendly house sits with a beautiful view of Pawtuckaway Lake and Pawtuckaway State Park. The house is open concept with two bedrooms, kitchen, living room with gas fireplace, TV, and bathroom with shower. One of the bedrooms is on the first floor and the other bedroom is on a second floor loft. Outside the house is a large deck and a patio area with a set of tables and chairs, adirondeck chairs for relaxing, a dock setup for a boat hookup. A small beach sits next to the dock for swimming in the lake, which according to a NHDES source is reportedly the 5th cleanest lake in New Hampshire. Three kayaks (one two-person and two one-person types) are available at the house for free use. Kayaking is great around the lake as there are many small islands to visit and wildlife to see. There are 10-15 bass fishing tournaments a year at the lake. The scenery is very tranquil as the house sits on the lake directly across from the 5,600-acre Pawtuckaway State Park. The 1,000-acre lake is very attractive with loons, small islands to explore, excellent swimming, 3-6 miles long, 50 feet at its deepest point, and very good for fishing of small and large mouth bass, pickerel, etc. Half of the lake is bordered by Pawtuckaway State Park, which has miles and dozens of trails for hiking, mountain biking, and rock climbing in the summer and snowmobiling, ATV-ing, cross-country skiing, and ice fishing activities in the winter. The house is heated for continuous year round use through the fall, winter, and spring. The house is 10 minutes from exit 5 off Route 101 and 30-40 minutes from the seacoast, Portsmouth, Manchester, or the Massachusetts border. There are several restaurants (Tuckaway Tavern, Holy Grail, Pizza by George, Dunkin Donuts, McDonalds, and others), a large Hannaford supermarket, pharmacies, bowling alley, gas stations, post office, and other stores and amenities within 10-20 minutes of the house.
  • The lake house stay was perfect! I loved being able to bring my dog along for the weekend trip! It was such a cozy place to stay in. The way the house was set up like a little cabin was so cute. Would definitely recommend. I want to come back in the summer!

    Sarah2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Such a great waterside cabin - would love to come again in the summer! The fireplace was so cozy.

    Elizabeth2019-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage sits in a quiet cove with beautiful views especially during the fall. The inside was very comfortable, just perfect for the two of us although it can accommodate two more people in a loft. One must be able to climb stairs though since there are quite a few of them leading down to the cottage where it sits right on the water. But the effort was well worth it! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

    Linda2019-10-22T00:00:00Z
  • If you like watching beautiful sunrises and sunsets over a lake this is the place for you. It's a beautiful little cottage with enough room to sleep an army. Host messaged us a few times to make sure everything was ok and see if we needed anything. We loved our kayak trips around the lake which the host supplied for our use. It was like a vacation commercial sitting on the back deck sipping some wine watching the sunset and listening to the loons calling across the lake. The only warning I could give is the steps leading down to the cottage were very steep someone with physical limitations or advanced in years it could be an issue but didnt bother us at all. In closing if you like picturesque sunrises and sunsets along with peace and quiet dont hesitate book it now.

    Daryl2019-09-28T00:00:00Z
  • This lake house is absolutely wonderful and anyone complaining about it needing an update isn’t appreciating the authenticity of what a camp should feel like. Sure some of the furniture is a little old but it’s perfectly suited and comfortable for flopping down on after time spent on the deck, at the fire pits, and in and around the lake. The house is situated in a great location on Pawtuckaway Lake so the view is beautiful, and there are kayaks for exploring the lake even further. The kitchen has everything you need in terms of appliances, is well stocked, and there is a gas grill on the deck as well. We absolutely loved our time spent here, had no issues, Stephan responded quickly to any of our questions - and even reached out to let us know we could extend our check out time by several hours on our last day - without us even asking! I hope to be able to rent this space again sometime.

We have lived here for 25 years. It was a long dirt road, and there are only 2 houses at the end. It was nice because the trails in the woods enabled me to walk my kids to school. We have frog ponds, turtle ponds...beaver dams all kinds of wonderful wildlife to explore. Over the years, it has become a popular destination point. At stratham hill park, people rent the pavilions for weddings, family reunions., birthdays...nhspca has there annual paws walk here early June. In late July, the stratham fair is a 4 day adventure, ride, 4-h music etc. the bike riders have really taken over and have all kinds of trick paths and jumps set up!
  • Clean, comfortable, well stocked kitchen. Right next to the trails! We enjoyed our stay while house hunting in the area...

  • We had such a nice stay at Patricia's Ladybug Cottage, which offers the perfect blend of cozy warmth and impressive space: big vaulter ceilings with open timbers, but sweet comfy places to rest and relax. Easy check in and communication, clean and well-maintained, nice amenities, a comfortable bed, and a great neighborhood. We hope to return for another visit!

  • We adored our stay at Ladybug Manor. It's a beautiful house, originally built for the hosts parents. It's well-designed, with plenty of space for our small family (two adults and a dog). It was filled with thoughtful touches, like the watercolors painted by the host, a stocked kitchen, and everything else we could need for a week-long retreat. The house is warm and cosy, with reclining chairs and beautiful woodwork. Across the yard are hiking trails that lead to a beautiful view of the area. We're so happy we discovered Ladybug Manor and can't wait to return.
