Beautiful 19th Century house in a secluded setting overlooking the Vienne river. A perfect space to unwind, relax and recharge, with beautiful woodland views all around. The whole house is included; three bedrooms, two bathrooms, lounge, dining room, kitchen, half-covered patio and large garden with an island and 100m of river frontage There is a house manual with all the info you need for a wonderful break! This recently restored boathouse will give you a real switch off from the modern world feel, no tv or wifi to complicate things, just birdsong and views across the lake. Sleep up in the bedroom or on the extremely comfortable sofabed if climbing the stairs is not for you. Relax on the terrace, take a siesta in the hammock. Within 1hr of the Dordogne, numerous chateaux at 20 mins as well as some lovely local villages. Come and unwind.

The bucolic break

In the countryside, the small road does not go beyond the tiny hamlet of three dwellings. The cottage is very close to the other two homes. It opens onto a lawn with a pretty view of a pond of more than 1 ha. Ideal for unwinding, hiking, discovering a green area of forests and meadows where superb limousine cows graze. Saint Leonard de Noblat, the beautiful medieval city is 15 km away, Lake Vassivière is 20 minutes away, Lake Bujaleuf is 8 minutes away.
