A great stay in New Year's Eve in a charming studio located right on the water with a beautiful view of Penne and its basilica! Little touches on arrival, clean studio, perfect location, functional equipment, nice decor, everything was perfect! We will come back with great pleasure to see Dominique, her husband and Django!

We received one of the most wonderful and warm welcomes of any Airbnb host at Dominique’s place. Tucked away at the end of a lane you’ll find this well appointed and very comfortable place which is ideally located for exploring close by and further afield due to the excellent transport links nearby.

All the other reviews are correct, Dominique is a top-notch host, who went more than the extra mile, and she speaks English quite well. Her husband Francois and Django (the big gentle sheepdog) also made us feel so welcome. We were treated to some local delights and good advice (including wines and villages). The gite was spotlessly clean and had everything one or two people could need. The location is close enough to walk to bakers/supermarket etc. Local Intermarche is good. Being at the end of a small dead-end lane, the house and the well-kept large garden are quiet. The river was high and fast due to rain during our 3-night stay, unluckily, but there is a nice decking and two large boats to mooch about on. Francois likes his fishing so can help anyone who wants to dabble or fish seriously. It would be lovely to have a week here.

At Eric, there is everything you need, both in equipment and conviviality! We live in the basement but the windows are just above the ground, which gives brightness anyway. For our business trip, we had a very pleasant stay of 3 days at Wilfried. The accommodation is located 2 minutes from downtown (by car) and in the place really very quiet. The studio is well equipped and clean, there is a possibility to eat in the garden. Wilfried a really sweet person.
