This house is smack dab in the middle of “downtown” Everglades City. It’s in the perfect location. Quiet neighborhood, quiet town. You can walk everywhere. To the bait and tackle shop, little grocery store, hardware store , restaurants, beach bar that opens at 5 and closes whenever the people go away. 7pm, 9pm, or 2 am! I felt like I was in Mayberry! Quaint little town where I could get away from it all. Rebeccas place added to the charm. It’s a perfect little place. The bathroom opened onto a screen room with a little table that had lights strung above. I enjoyed sitting out there in the mornings before everyone else woke up and have my quiet time with no mosquitos. There is also another patio attached to the screen room and serves as an entry way to the front door. Not screened but has 2 rocking chairs and a lattice archway. Very relaxing. Enjoyed sitting out there in the evenings! Slept well. Rebecca has everything you could possibly need. My favorite was a great big binder full of magazine articles about the fakahatchee strand and a complete write up of every possible thing you could do in the area and a link to their website. Trust me, I will be going back to explore! I was in town this time to run the Everglades Ultra and Rebecca’s place was a quick 3 miles from the start line. She was very responsive. Even to tell me where to go the night before my race to purchase sunglasses because mine broke...and she wasn’t even in town! I would like to go back just to get an opportunity to meet Rebecca. She let me enjoy her garden in the backyard and I ate my dinner at the table in her garden. I enjoyed all of her hand picked seashells strewn around and homemade wood working. Very charming place!

Great space, clean, quiet, well cared for, walking distance to the handful of local restaurants. I appreciated the variety of local books & historical resources to browse.

The Garden Apartment was very homey. We met Rebecca when we checked in. We felt right at home in no time. She’s thought of everything to make your stay an easy one-nice plush towels, toiletries, general kitchen stuff, refrigerator and microwave. The apartment is close to everything (well, in Everglades City nothing is far away) there’s 2 rocking chairs outside to relax in and watch the golf carts go by. Recommended.

Rebecca's "Garden Apartment" was everything as advertised. It was clean, basic and easily accessible. We would surely stay there again if we ever get back to Everglades City !

Rebecca’s place was perfect for a small town get outa big city and be in the Everglades close to the water place. We loved the charming private rocking chairs at garden level outside and a screened eating room. Nature lovers and close to the earth folks will love this place just as we did. Rebecca was very helpful, her place is clean, sheets wonderful along with the perfect light weight natural cotton blanket. We’d stay here again for the peace and quiet.

The garden apartment was exactly as advertised, very clean, and although we didn’t meet Rebecca face to face, she was very responsive to our messages and questions we will stay here again if it’s available on our next trip to SW Florida, and recommend to other travelers

Rebecca’s place is a perfect and comfortable apartment from which you can enjoy great Everglades experiences. It was a cozy nest to return to in the evening after hikes and boat trips. It was very clean and she provides everything you need for your stay. We loved the special decorative touches and enjoyed the screened porch. We would recommend this Airbnb to all.

We had a great time in Everglades City, and a terrific stay in Rebecca's apartment. It is a large, super clean and comfortable space, with an interesting layout. The kitchen and bathroom were spotless and and had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and it was quiet at night. We felt welcome and at home. I highly recommend staying at Rebecca's place when visiting Everglades City! We had great meals at Camillias's Grill and City Seafood, and be sure to check out the very cool Smallwood Store museum in nearby Chokoloskee if you get a chance!

Strategic place to spent a few days to visit the Everglades. The house is perfectly clean and very comfortable. Will stay there again without hesitation!

Great and very special accommodation in the middle of the Everglades. Very nice host, we were welcomed with home-brewed beer. Room and bathroom were very clean. The kitchen is in the outside area, the shower under the open sky with all the animal sounds was great. You can use the canoe and paddle in the water channels.

This place is so much better than you can imagine, and Robert is a perfect host/gentleman. An amazing find, well worth your time and money, and such a quaint rustic view into the Everglades. Robert had everything so ready and available for us, including the two spots we ate and two of the locations around that we stopped at! Thank you Robert!

Such a charming and unique spot, full of local flavor and fun personal touches. Robert was an excellent host, very accommodating and helpful with recommending restaurants and places to see wildlife. We loved taking his kayaks out in the canal behind the house, and our favorite perk was a private tasting of his own brewed beers. What a fun way to start our Everglades adventure!!

Robert is a fantastic host who has thought of everything thing you could need. The accommodations are rustic but exactly what a trip to the Everglades should be. Robert provided us with binders of local information including menus for all the local restaurants which was very helpful. Would totally recommend!

When you book with Rebecca you can expect a clean, quiet getaway from the craziness of traffic and people in the city. Her recommendations of things to do and places to eat were spot on. The apartment had a tropical cabin vibe. I would recommend her place in a heartbeat!

This place helped make our stay in Everglades City comfortable and peaceful. First and foremost, it was very clean which is my first priority. Pristine bathroom, clean kitchen, newish carpet (I think), etc. There were only two of us, but this could comfortably sleep 4 and easily accommodate more with what looked to be a pullout futon. It very much felt like a retro beach cabin with wood paneled walls and vaulted wood ceilings. It's smack in the middle of town so fairly convenient to everything. The mattress was one of the more comfortable ones on which I've slept in an Airbnb. The AC worked great and wasn't loud like some can be. The kitchen was fully functional with all of the necessary implements. Plenty of quality towels and washcloths in the bathroom as well as economy-size soap and shampoo for our use. The TV worked great - we didn't see if there was cable but instead watched Netflix on the included service. There was a small screened porch that was part of the entryway, though we never used it since we were always out and about. It's not the Ritz, but that's not what you'd want in EC anyways! It's everything you need. The only thing I wish we'd had but didn't was water views, but that costs much more and may not even be available. And the water was only 2-3 blocks away if you wanted to see that on a short walk. Rebecca supplied us with great recommendations for an airboat tour and kayak tour, both highlights. That said, the Down South Airboats that she recommended was SUPERB. Far better than expected, and I had high expectations going in. Worth every single penny. Her recommendations for food were spot on as well - Camellia's and Havana Cafe were both delicious, satisfying both an adventurous eater and a pickier one - stone crab claws, grouper, salad, gator, frog legs, etc. One note - if you need cash, get it before you arrive in EC. There are a few ATMs in local stores but (1) all but one were out of service while we were there and (2) they charge the typical non-affiliated ATM fee to withdraw cash. I'd be very happy to stay here again on a future trip to EC.

Its a wonderful place to be. The cabin is immaculately clean, comfortable and cosy, very well cared for and nicely decorated. It has everything you need. Reggie is an amazing host who made us feel truly welcome.

A comfy little place to relax after a day of enjoying one of the most peaceful places on Earth. Nothing fancy but it's got everything you need.

We love Everglades City. We've spent a lot of time there over the years with friends. This trip we need a place to stay for a fishing trip for our 27th anniversary and found Cheryl's cabin. From the description it looked like it would fit our needs and we know the area where it is located. When we arrived it was better than we expected. Very "cute" and we immediately felt at home. Lots of room and the place was immaculate. Love the screen porch as well. We towed or 16ft boat and were able to park it right there as well as launch it within 50 ft of the cabin. Also was really nice to rinse the salt water off the trailer! The neighbors were great. All very friendly and liked to talk about anything! Sadly we could only stay for 3 nights :-( Cheryl is great about communicating and that is always a plus. Will hope to stay again in the future.

The cabin was very clean and had everything I needed for our stay. It is accurately described and the photos are up to date. This was my first trip to Everglades City. We came to fish and did that for 5 days. There is a boat launch on the property that provides easy access.

If you want to be close to action, high traffic, noise, bars and night life don't stay here. If you want a peaceful and friendly location with great food options and nature close at hand this is the perfect drive. It's a great central location to Naples and the National and State Parks. Cheryl was always quick to respond to questions and had helpful suggestions. I would stay here again.

Darcy's place is in close proximity to Everglades City central square and all storefronts, restaurants, and adventure excursions. There is also a community pool and local waters for one to enjoy the view as well as do fishing/kayaking while touring the local area. I would definitely consider renting Darcy's AIRBNB in future trip plans.

While it's not the most modern room, it was perfect for what we needed. It's right in Everglades City which was perfect. It's close to all the hiking we wanted to do and we would definitely stay again! Dary was very helpful and wanted to make sure wee made it in one piece and checked in OK.

We had a good stay at Darcy's place! Clean room, good communication throughout, and (most importantly for us) easy access to Everglades and Big Cypress. Neat little area to stroll around as well.

A welcome reduced to the bare minimum. A studio of the last century for decoration !!! Made to sleep without more !!

The rooms were clean and thoughtfully appointed. Older furnishings but nice quality sheets, towels, wine glasses, etc. Darcy responded quickly and was very friendly. Great location and nice heated pool.

A nice place quite near to the gulf visitor center. We spend 1.5 hours on the boat in 10000 islands and then left Everglades city. Darcy’s house is clean and tidy for guests. Nice trip!

Pictures don’t do this place justice. Rooms are much bigger than they appear. It was very clean, homey and comfortable. Every question was answered and Jolene was sharing info. that benefited us upon arrival (stop at a grocery store) before getting to Everglades City. We followed her up on all of her suggestions and it made for an awesome vacation.

This is a great fish camp location. The boat ramp is right there and the neighbors are friendly. You cannot beat the fishing in the area. The cabin was spotlessly clean.

This cabin is fantastic. It doesnt get any closer to the everglades. It was nice to have a pool in the complex. The cabin is well equipped for cooking and lots of beds for a family or group of friends.

Darcy's place is very nice and clean and in my opinion I would consider it a 2 bedroom apartment as you have a private bedroom with a door and the second bed is separated from the living room; plus you have a sofa bed. Plenty of space!

I have stayed at the villas at the Captains Table before, so knew what to expect. However, Darcy's apartment was way beyond expectations. Place was extremely cozy, very cool with powerful air conditioning, and extremely clean and orderly. Great layout. I was traveling with my father, a retiree, so it was nice that we each had our own bedroom with full bath. There is a door that separates the two bedrooms, like a locking hotel door between adjoining rooms. The back bedroom does not connect to the living room and kitchen when shut, but you can go out the private back exit door and around the building to the front door. I did that to get drinks from the fridge when my dad was sleeping, and he wasn't disturbed! Loved having that private little porch out of my back bedroom. We decided to cook on the last night to avoid the crowds, and the kitchen to be as complete as mine at home. I just needed to purchase some cooking oil, which I left for other guests =) We already want to book our dates for next year's Everglades fishing trip so we can land Darcy's place again.

Darcy's condo is right in Everglades City allowing great access to multiple entrances to Everglades National Park and Big Cypress National Preserve. The condo is clean, cool and comfortable. We enjoyed breakfast and wine on the front porch with the sunrise and sunset. Darcy was very communicative and responsive giving us great directions and making sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend Darcy's condo if you're looking for a place to stay in Everglades City.

Lourdes's home is a well maintained, clean and comfortable place to stay. From all of the available amenities to the thoughtful accommodations it was well worth the visit. The dock was what we were looking for in a place to stay and it suited our needs just fine. Very clean, and close to all of the activities available in town. We highly recommend staying at Lourdes's place if you are visiting Everglades City.

A very nice house and very cozy! Everyone was happy, even teens who found something to care about (knowing we are not a fisherman's family ... just passing tourists) Everything is thought to make you feel comfortable. Lourdes has put heart in every detail of the stay, with plenty of information and information on the surroundings and activities.

This was my second stay at this location. Perfect spot for exploring the Everglades.

Rebecca was a lovely host helpful and had lots of info regarding things to do in the area. Bed was super comfy with big fluffy pillows. We cooked in the oven instead of going out as it is such a nice space. The bathroom also spotless with everything you could need. My partner and I just stayed one night passing through but will definitely stay here again next time we are in the everglades. Perfect!

Rebecca's place is a cozy little place in Everglade City. It is conveniently located near Big Cypress National Preserve and the Gulf Coast Visitor Center where you can take a boat ride to Ten Thousand Islands. We enjoyed our stay and would return again!

We had a wonderful time staying at the Blue house. Everything was extremely clean, a very unique and cool house as well. The views are outstanding, lots of wildlife can be seen from the house and the screened in porch. The kitchen was great and made cooking a joy. We came down for a fishing weekend and we will most definitely be staying again in the future. It was a real pleasure. The house was everything we expected and much much more. And Liz has awesome communication which is very important when renting a home! Thank you Liz!
