Dunlop is only 1/2 hour drive to some of Ayrshires top golf courses. The train takes less than 30 mins to Glasgow city centre. The village has a community pub, a community cafe(open for breakfast, morning coffee and lunch, Monday-Friday) A newsagent, post office/ shop and an Artisan Bakery ( open Friday, Saturday and Sunday.)
