This 200 year old stone cottage is set in half acre of mature garden surrounded by trees. It is the perfect spot for a romantic get away or to just chill out and relax. It is ideally situated to tour all the amenities of the west of Ireland. An area of 80 Sq Mtrs comprises 2 double bedrooms a bathroom with shower toilet and wash basin upstairs. A sunny sitting room with TV and DVD player is also located upstairs. Downstairs there is an open plan dining and well equipped kitchen area complete with dish washer gas cooker with oven and fridge. We are 1 mile from our local village which has a food shop, takeaway, hairdressers, pharmacy, playground, school, Catholic Church, post office, and two local pubs. We are 15 minutes to Galway city and 20 minutes from Cong, mayo, we are 15 minutes to limerick/Sligo motorway which connects with the Dublin motorway. Our location is convenient for all that Galway has to offer i.e. it is a gate way to connemara, the many festivals hosted here include the Galway arts festival, Galway races and the oyster festival.

Our beautiful & unique wooden Eco-Pod is a comfortable space in in a lovely natural setting. It is ideally located 20-30 min by car, from Galway City on the doorstep of Connemara close to the N59. The Eco-Pod is mostly open-plan with a kitchenette, comfortable double bed (which can be converted into a sofa at daytime), separate bathroom and shower. Please note the toilet is a compost toilet (none flush). You will have beautiful views of the surroundings, as the front is all window-space.
