Wij grenzen direct aan twee natuurgebieden en tevens aan het Pieterpad en de Achtkastelen-route waar u volop kunt wandelen en fietsen met de verschillende (knooppunt)routes. Dorp Vorden, treinstation, bus, zwembad, golfbaan e.d. zijn 3-5 km verderop.

The Berkelhut, peace and quiet

Very quiet holiday home in beautiful surroundings. From our Berkelhut you can walk straight into the woods of Velhorst. The house is heated with infrared panels, has a large double bed of 1.60 by 2.00 meters that can be closed off. You may use 2 bicycles and a Canadian kayak; the Berkel river is in walking distance of your accommodation. In addition to the picturesque village of Almen, Zutphen, Lochem and Deventer are also close by. After consulting us, you can bring your small dog with you.

B&B Roes was newly built in 2021, detached with private entrance, terrace on the front and back overlooking a nature reserve. Fully equipped: private bathroom and breakfast room with fridge, coffee/tea maker and microwave. I serve an extensive breakfast for €10 pp. Please book in advance. Do you like peace and luxury in a beautiful green area? Then overnight stays in our B&B are a wonderful option.  Plof between the pillows on the wide window sill, drink and enjoy!

National monument from 1621

Always wanted to stay in one of Deventer's oldest houses? In my fairytale house (a national monument from 1621), fortunately, much of the history is still intact; the high anteroom, the low old ties on the 1st floor (watch your head) and the beautiful niches. Parts of the house even date back to the 14th century and survived the big city fire in that century. The house is in a quiet street a stone's throw away from the IJssel and the best restaurants Deventer owns.

We rent the hot tub separately, ask for it when booking.
