Wow, what an absolute gem of a place! We loved this flat for its quirky charm and traditional features, a real cosy little spot, very comfortable and beautifully furnished. Easy to find and we loved visiting Lynda's organic grocers downstairs - she's just lovely, and so so helpful. The breakfast items provided were such a kind and thoughtful touch also - delicious granola! We didnt spend much time outside the flat as we were only around for a short time so cant vouch for the local area, but would totally recommend for a short stay as we did and we would stay again in future.

Our affectionately named Yurty Ahern yurt is a cosy Mongolian yurt which sleeps 4 people comfortably in a double and 2 single beds. The yurt is heated by an electric heater and has a raised floor, insulated walls and an added cladding layer and felt roof. The roofed deck next to Yurty features a 4 person wood fired hot tub which would keep any otter happy and is exclusively for the use of guests staying in this yurt. We have a strictly enforced curfew of midnight and parties are forbidden.

We loved Bernie's place. Clean, quiet, and super friendly. Bernie and Christy are great hosts very kind and had wonderful conversations. She even made me some tea. 😄 Highly recommend.

Visiting Eileen is like visiting your favourite grandma. Eileen is truely great person, with big heart. She was always willing to help me, to give me a valuable advice, to treat me the nicest way it is possible. I cannot even said how much thanfull I am. The room itself is very clean and with very nice sort of home feeling. Also location is perfect for travellers who values quite enviroment but they still want to stay close the cultural centres(cities). In case I will ever have chance to visit Eileen again, I will definitely use her airbnb offer again.

Immaculate place to stay in the countryside! Beautifully kept rooms and all the modern conveniences provided. Nicola and Michael are very warm and welcoming! They had great tips for dinners out, provided us with wellies for walking about their land, and made sure we were comfortable. The setting is serene and relaxing!! It was a great “home base” for doing genealogy work in neighboring counties, and is well situated for great day trips. The kitchen had everything we needed for making meals. Thanks!!

honestly couldn't have met a better hostess, Mary went out of her way to make sure everyone was looked after. well fed also for breakfast the next morning. stayed here for a wedding held in kilronin. would highly recommend for the price, location and friendly owner.

We had a wonderful stay at this place! The room was very spacious, comfortable, and spotlessly clean, which we greatly appreciated. My boys enjoyed the pool table and were thrilled with it. The breakfast was beautifully prepared and absolutely delicious. Niamh was incredibly kind and helpful, making our stay even more pleasant. The only downside was the room facing the road. Despite this, we highly recommend this place!
