Guests highlight Amanda's responsiveness and the peaceful creek as standout features
Peaceful cabin located on a spring-fed creek near hiking, lakes, creeks and historic Cherokee sites. Two BR, 1 BA cabin is ideal for families or a romantic getaway and the cold, clear water is perfect for cooling off in the summer. Sip a cup of coffee on the front porch while watching for deer and other wildlife that routinely stop by. Grill fresh steaks & burgers from the on-site Black Angus herd (check ahead for pricing). There is wi-fi and a 71-inch smart TV for the not-so outdoorsy.

The space
Large, open living area with ample counter and cabinet space. All the pots, pans, dishes, utensils, etc. for cooking, baking, grilling and more. All new Samsung appliances, including electric range, oven and microwave. Traditional coffeepot with built-in filter and complimentary coffee.

On the back porch you’ll find inflatables, lawn chairs, corn hole and other recreational items. Inside the convertible sofa are plenty of board games, cards, extra blankets, etc. The primary bedroom holds a queen sized bed dresser. The second bedroom is a bunkbed with a full bed on bottom and twin on top (kids only on the top bunk please).

Maximum of two small pets (under 40 pounds) are allowed. Please disclose type of pet in advance and be aware there are two large Great Pyrenees that live on the property. Pet fee is a non-refundable $75 per stay.

Guest access
Guests will have full access to the entire house, yard and all along the creek.

Other things to note
Please do not flush anything other than toilet paper. Wipes, feminine products, etc. may clog the septic system.

There are picnic tables and a trash can by the creek to conveniently remove all trash from the area. No smoking and no glass by the creek, please.

VERY IMPORTANT -- please do not move or remove ANY rocks, no matter how large or small. This is an area that is culturally significant to the Cherokees and other tribes that lived in the area hundreds of years ago. The cabin sits over limestone and a small cave system, so other rocks may be holding the hillside in place.

Also, please park under the carport or to the right of it, but not in the yard. There are septic lines that run between the carport and house which can be weakened or damaged by the weight of vehicles.
