Lavender Cottage is situated on Pendennis, a working farm. We grow apples and grapes just 10 kms outside Villiersdorp in the beautiful Bossieveld. You can enjoy walks on the farm. And meet our animals: on the way. There is a dam (but swimming is seasonal due to irrigation) and a small communal swimming pool with a large sun deck.. We supply tea , instant coffee, rusk, braai wood, fire lighters and our own olive oil. On Pendennis we are pet friendly and the cottage has a fenced garden.

The space
The historic cottage is exclusively for our guests. Open plan lounge and kitchen. The property has three en suite bedrooms. One is in the cottage and the second and third have private entrance and is not internally connected - just a few steps to the open plan living area. The garden is fenced and ideal for dogs. The cottage has beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. Sport fishing for Tilapia in our farm dam.

Pendennis Farm is 10 kms outside Villiersdorp in the beautiful Bossieveld. Just a five kms drive from Pendennis is Stettyn Wine Cellar. They offer cheese platters,oysters and much more. There are also stunning hike and mountain bike routes on Stettyn. For the beer lover Mountain Brewing Co. is just the place. They offer beer tasting in the restaurant. In the village is the VIlliersdorp Winery. Next to the tasting room is the restaurant Kelkiewyn which serves breakfast and lunch.
