This home is in a scenic location.
Nestled between the majestic Montagu mountains, Alpaca Inn offers guests an authentic (thatched) colonial Cape Dutch experience. Walking out on the covered deck facing the Kinga River and Marloth Nature Reserve mountains, you will experience the beauty, peace and bliss that the unspoiled nature that Montagu has to offer.

Situated walking distance from Montagu town, Alpaca Inn offers a romantic farm experience in town.

The space
On the covered verandah, you can enjoy sunset drinks, set for romantic outdoor dining, or walk onto the beautiful green grass for a braai (bbq) and cool off in the pool. Guests can also have some fun playing pool (table).

All kitchen condiments included.

Guests also welcome to join daily animal feeding twice a day.

The Layout of the property.
The main cottage sleep 4 people (2 double bed ensuite rooms with showers) and the garden room sleeps 4 (Room 3: 1 double bed, 2 single beds & bath).
Property only rented out to 1 group.

Enjoy expansive views of the pecan nut trees, Alpaca paddocks and imposing mountains. Enjoy the animal feeding and handling with Petrus, our Estate manager.

Other things to note
Alpaca Farm Estate is a farm holding with animals living on the Estate (Alpacas, donkeys and sheep). The property is nestled between a nursery and a horse farm, making for picturesque scene. Guests can expect to wake up in the morning to the ordinary early morning animal voices, reminding you that you're in nature. Expect flies if food or used dishes is left uncovered.

Mosquitos at night can be a pain, we advise use of mosquito repellent. Rest assured, the Western Cape mosquito is harmless.
