Tucked away in the bush, surrounded by woodland you will find this hidden gem. Enjoy isolation and feel at one with nature. Ideally situated on parkland, but near enough to the must-visit Kruger fence line. A short drive to local shops & restaurants and the Kruger National Park. Air-conditioned in all rooms and with a splash pool overlooking a private waterhole this is the perfect bush hideaway.

The space
This two bedroom cottage has an open-plan kitchen and lounge, with a minimalist eye to focus on the beauty of nature.

Large windows in the main bedroom and lounge overlook views of a private waterhole, frequented by many different animals - Kudu, Warthog, Duiker and Impala, to name just a few.

The main bedroom has a Queen-sized bed and the 2'nd bedroom has a double bed. Both beds are fitted with mosquito nets. A baby crib is also available on request. High-thread count linen and hyper-allergenic pillows were carefully selected. The bathroom, which leads off a short passage closest to the second bedroom, is well-equipped with a bath and shower.

Arguably the most important part of a holiday house in Marloth Park is the outside entertainment area.
Our entertainment area overlooks a private waterhole, frequented by many different animals. A splash pool built into the enclosed entertainment is the perfect place to spend a hot afternoon, or laze away in the dangerously comfortable swing-chair that hangs from a Buffalo-thorn Tree overhead.
We have selected a firm favourite when it comes to the all-important braai (bbq) facilities – a Weber Braai kettle braai, is also available in addition to the fire pit just outside the enclosed area.

Guest access
Our property is unique in that our cottage is built on a big piece of land that faces Parkland. Parkland is untouched wild bush that cannot be built on. This means that you will have access to a lot of space for exploring!

Overlooking the parkland, we have a table and chair that you can use to eat at, relax with a book or do some birding. We also have an outdoor shower which you can use to cool down or just to enjoy the experience of showering outside in the bush!

Other things to note
Birding is an incredible way to explore nature, so we have two birding books that you can use. However, please be sure to bring along your binoculars to fully enjoy your experience - this is also important for viewing game on the fence line of Kruger as well as for your trips into Kruger.

Please note that this is a Malaria zone. However, we have taken measures to ensure that you can keep yourself safe during your stay. We have provided mosquito nets for both bedrooms, we have mosquito/fly screens on some of the windows. We also have a citronella candle for outside and an automatic mosquito spray inside the cottage.

What makes Marloth Park special is how the wildlife and people co-exist. You will get to observe the wildlife closely - which makes for an incredible bush experience! Something that is truly unique is that you can enjoy a leisurely stroll or a cycle along Crocodile River, which is in the famous Kruger National Park, and have the chance of seeing the Big 5.

One of Kruger National Park’s entry gates is only a 15 minute drive from Marloth Park, so our home is the perfect base for your Kruger holiday!
