The space
The house and cottage are situated together, yet private. In May 2018 we started with the renovation of an old ‘nagmaal huisie’ (historical cottage used for a sleep-over by farmers to attend Holy Communion) including the shed situated on the same land. It is nestled in a quiet neighbourhood and up a gravel road close to the mountain. The property has a special garden that continues to grow with its guests.

The village of Barrydale is situated on the R62 in the Overberg region of the Western Cape and is known for its wine routes, dried fruit and the Tradauw Pass.
The route meanders through the Little Karoo with its defined seasons that can be seen in the succulents and wild flowers which adorn this region.
The cottage is within walking distance to footpaths, restaurants, and neighbourhood shops.
