The area, called the East City Precinct, is increasingly becoming the residential location of choice for young professionals and students as it is so conveniently located, and now includes some of the city’s trendiest eatery and party locations, such as The Harrington Bar, New York Bagel Deli, Truth Coffee Bar, Swan Cafe, Downtown Ramen, and fine dining establishment Belly Of The Beast.

Delve into the area’s history with a visit to the District Six Museum. During apartheid, the community of District Six was forcibly relocated from the city, and their houses and businesses demolished. The museum’s multimedia exhibition is a great place to hear the life stories of the residents themselves and learn more about the current restoration efforts.

I live 10 minutes drive away, and will either meet you for-check-in after 3pm, or if you arrive early we can arrange for the housekeeper to let you in and give you the keys.
