Walking trails on the farm and picnics in the forest is how you can spend your days or soaking up the sun on the terrace. Nature at its best whilst lounging in this luxury mountain cottage.

The space
Situated on a working farm in the Hermitage valley you can enjoy nature in all its splendour. Only 5km from the town centre you can enjoy a swim in the natural dam, walk in the forest, mountain bike or hike. Beautiful surroundings with various bird species and wildlife such as baboons and indigenous bushbuck.

Guest access
Guests can enjoy our natural swimming dam. The are also rock pools in the mountain that can be accessed with a short hike. A day permit is needed to enter Marloth nature reserve bordering the property offering a variety of hiking trails to explore. Located on a working farm, guests are free to wander.

Other things to note
It is a very safe environment and situated on the farm there are some wildlife roaming around such as baboons, small antelope and mountain leopard. If you go out for a walk please keep doors and window of the cottage locked because the baboons can be curious! The selection of fauna and flora to be discovered is very special and exciting.
