This beautiful cottage is on Bourgogne farm, just 1km from town. It has everything you need to enjoy a relaxing break away. An indoor fireplace can be found on the enclosed stoep. The queen bed comes with crisp clean white linen & is complimented by different shades of green. The en-suite bathroom has a big shower. We provide bath sheets.
The kitchen is fully equipped. The cottage is right next to the shed on the working farm, so expect an early morning rush when we pick plums.

The space
Forget about time when you are on the farm. Relax and enjoy nature and the peacefulness of the farm.
Very friendly dogs will welcome you and most probably take walks with you on the farm, especially to the farm dam as the Labs loves swimming.
Bourgogne is a plum farm. Harvesting starts Dec and ends March. We gladly share some of the fresh produce with you. If possible, try to catch the blossoms from mid Aug to mid Sept, its gorgeous.
300m from the cottage there is a restaurant. You can enjoy lunch or wine tasting from 11am to 5:30pm.
Take time to walk to the dam, its magnificnet!

Bourgogne is a beautiful, lush green farm in the Bo Hoek Valley of Franschhoek, filled with plum trees. Here we take it easy and enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening. Its a working farm with the cottages to one side of the farm. Sometimes guests love to find out more about the farming and we love to share all the details.
La Bourgogne is part of our farming activities but their hospitality department runs separately from us.
