Bed&Being is a peaceful garden studio nestled in Jukskei Park, ideal for anyone who seeks calm amidst the city. Enjoy a natural swimming pool, leafy garden, WiFi, Nespresso coffee, and just be. Our tastefully decorated, well-insulated studio is nestled in the back garden of our home, separate from the main house. Jukskei Park is a leafy suburb, close to Fourways Mall and Monte Casino. It's also a short drive from The Cradle of Humankind and Lion Park.

The space
Ideal for solo travelers, creatives, remote workers, couples, or business stays, our cozy cottage offers all the essentials:

- Private entrance
- Comfortable double bed & small diner table
- Bathroom with shower
- Kitchenette with Nespresso machine, toaster, kettle, and full crockery and cutlery
- Single plate induction cooker for the preparation of a simple meal
- Coffee, tea, milk and sugar provided for the first days
- WiFi included

Step outside and you’re greeted by birdsong. You are welcome to pick fresh organic herbs or dip into the eco-friendly, natural swimming pool. Parking for one car is available on the property.

Guest access
The garden is a shared space – but often quiet and open for your rest and enjoyment. On your way to the swimming pool you will find our contemplative studio and a small, inspiring gift shop with handmade treasures. We offer optional one-on-one sessions on meditation or qigong. These sessions are held in quiet respect, and can be arranged once you’ve booked.

A local shopping centre is just a short walk away for groceries, takeaway meals, or basic needs (including a pharmacy and ATM). Across the shopping centre is a petrol station.

We value respectful, peaceful stays and welcome guests who cherish quiet, creative or contemplative time.

We charge a cleaning fee of ZAR 200.

Our Bed&Being is located in Jukskei Park, a quiet, residential area, close to Fourways Mall and Monte Casino. From here you can conveniently visit The cradle of Humankind and Lion Park Johannesburg. Super markets, restaurants and a coffee shop are only 5 minutes away, either by car (Douglasdale shopping center) or at walking distance (Jukskei Meander shopping center). At the latter you will find a well-stocked supermarket, liquor store, pharmacy, ATM, takeaway Chinese food & sushi and an Italian restaurant. Across the shopping center is a petrol station.

We arrived in Joburg from the Netherlands in 2010, initially to stay for a few months, and we are still here! Often feeling like tourists in this amazing and diverse city, enjoying the discovery of new creative initiatives or delightful coffee shops. Our wish is that more people may discover the HeartCore space, and experience that possibility to rejuvenate and relax in the midst of urban life, grow and enjoy the nourishment of organic food, and inspire oneself from within.
