The Earthen Studio is a pure expression of organic architecture — designed in harmony with nature, built by hand using sustainable, natural materials.

This sunlit space opens to panoramic views of the Overberg valley, Riviersonderend mountains, vineyards and pomegranate orchards. Wander through our food forest, linger in the gardens, and reconnect with a slower rhythm of life.
This is a retreat experience, not a self-catering stay.
A wholesome brunch is included in your stay.
We recommend including Bianca's homecooked dinners which are paired with a local premium wine. All our meals are freshly prepared with home-grown and locally sourced produce. (Refer to images for a sample menu) Your meals are served at the studio unless you can opt for an alfresco dining experience.

Each meal is prepared with intention — seasonal, nourishing, and full of the flavours that tell our story. All your meals are freshly prepared with care by Bianca using home-grown and locally sourced produce. Feel free to enquire on the dinner meals planned during your stay. Please share your dietary requirements in advance.

**SUSTAINABILITY:
Sempre operates entirely off-grid. Our filtered rainwater is precious and seasonally collected — we kindly ask that you use it mindfully as we preserve our resources for the summer months.

Our self-sufficient home and studio are built in harmony with the land, surrounded by rehabilitated fynbos, ecological gardens, and a thriving food forest.
Here, we live slower, closer to nature, guided by purpose and sustainability.
We’re off the beaten track, the journey here is scenic and easy to navigate. We're located 165km from Cape Town and are a short scenic 30km drive from the garden route / N2 motorway.
We are pet-friendly on request only - please note the additional fee. We provide a comfy doggie bed, bowls etc.

For day trips and local adventures, explore the nearby towns of Stanford, Hermanus and Greyton — each with their own charm, trails, and wineries. Bianca and Rob will gladly share their recommendations.
