Soulmate by the Sea is a self-catering apartment on the 1st floor of our home, perched high up the mountain with breathtaking sea and mountain views of False Bay, home to migrating whales and much more. Surrounded by Nature, this 2 bedroom modern apartment with open plan kitchenette and lounge/dinning area, offers a great escape filled with tranquility. It is walking distance to Fish Hoek Beach and en-route to Cape Point and neighbouring quaint sea-side villages such as Kalk Bay and Simonstown.

The space
Soulmate by the sea is the name of our beautiful 3 storey home situated below Elsies Peak, just outside Fish Hoek, South Africa, which is +- 40mins from Cape Town central +- 25km. Not a single person ever comes here without being awestruck by our views. The apartment is on the first floor, with its own private entrance. Peace and tranquility in our neighborhood makes this apartment perfect for those wishing to escape the city bustle but close enough to engage in the wonders of what Cape Town and the peninsula has to offer.

The apartment consists of the following:
2 bedrooms, one with a double size bed, the other with 2 single beds - suitable for a couple on their own, or a couple and child (sorry, no children younger than 10 years of age).
Superior cotton linen and towels.
All rooms with breathtaking sea and mountain views.
Hotel grade mattresses.
Bathroom, with seamless glass shower, toilet and basin.
An open plan kitchen with 2 plate stove, microwave oven, fridge, air fryer, and supporting electrical kitchen devices, opens onto a dining area and stylishly furnished lounge area with panoramic views of False Bay.
The outside patio is a place to relax and take in the views.
Splash Pool:
Guests have access to the splash pool, a private area ideal for taking a dip on our hot African days.

There is no load shedding currently but should we experience it we have installed an inverter to ensure constant WiFi (5G) and lights. (Please see House Manual and House Rules for more).

Guest access
There is a funicular which is available for luggage and for those who are unable to walk up stairs, while a stairway provides access for guests to the apartment.
Guests wanting or needing to use the funicular will need to sign an indemnity and use at their own risk.
Please note that the funicular does not work during loadshedding and this needs to be considered for luggage both on arrival or departure - see Space details above for loadshedding app details.

Other things to note
For stays longer than 7 there is an additional weekly cleaning fee of R350 which needs to be settled via Airbnb before departure.

Parking is on-street below the property. Please remove all items from the car and lock at night.

Soulmate by the sea is situated in False Bay which is part of the Cape Peninsula, an area well known for its stunning views, endemic fauna and flora, and home to migrating whales and the African Penguin. It is +- 40 minute drive to Cape Town central, and walking distance to Fish Hoek Beach, our local beach with a shark-safe swimming area. Cape Point Nature Reserve is a drive way, as is a visit to the African Penguins. Small coastal towns such as Kalk Bay, Simonstown, Noordhoek, Scarborough, Muizenberg and Kommetjie are found along the route with superb restaurants to choose from while outdoor activities abound.
