Where you’ll be

The house is located in a protected marine conservancy. The flora, land and sealife is abundant and quite a treat, from whales, to otters, seals, birds, golden orb spiders, to a resident family of genet cats in the bay, and of course the baboons who enjoy a bay visit too!

There is low-tide rock-pools, swimming, body surfing, diving, fishing, strandlooper cave, and coastal and mountain walks to enjoy for both the adventurous or the leisure seeker.

There are no boundary walls in the bay and living style is beachy and simple. There are periodic permanent residences, and a few families staying on the weekends as well as day beach visitors.

Smitswinkel bay is neighbours with Cape Point Nature Reserve for an easy visit, and the Penguin colony at Boulders is a stones throw away, as well as historic navy town, Simonstown and an Ostrich farm. Usually guests arrive down at the sea, and just don’t want to leave. It is relaxed, so close to nature, and simply beautiful!
