The skiing and hiking areas in the Thuringian Forest (Oberhof with international competition venues and Schmiedefeld) are easily accessible by car in 20-30 minutes as well as by public transport.

Our cozy, light-flooded and modern apartment is located in the countryside exactly between Bamberg and Coburg - two very worthwhile cities in Franconia. Our farm is a real oasis of well-being surrounded by forest and extensive fields. Some lakes are also within walking distance. We have great hiking trails and bike tours in the Hassbergen. An absolute place to arrive and feel good and an ideal starting point for day trips, for example to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Bamberg.

Lovingly rustic barn in a small village that offers absolute tranquility, nature and many excursion opportunities. Stylishly decorated, clean and a lot of space. Here you can spend unforgettable days with friends or family. This holiday home is centrally located on the village square directly across from the brewery. Fireplace and sauna are special highlights. At night you will find complete tranquility, because there is no main road here. On request, there are eggs from our own chickens or what the garden has to offer. Small outdoor dining area and outdoor shower for warm summers.

Old village church

The former village church is located in a 1,600 square meter property in the middle of the village of Erbshausen-Sulzwiesen. Surrounded on all sides, it is an ideal retreat without being "out of this world." In the morning sun in front of the sacristy, on the church wall in the afternoon or in the evening under fruit trees. In the lower tower room on the couch, in the upper tower room – the former bell room – while watching the birds. There is always a nice place.

After I inherited the farm from my grandfather, one thing was clear to me, "this farm is not for sale." Thus, together with my parents, I completely renovated the farm and created a modern furnished vacation home. In his honor, it has become "DER HENKELHOF," where we would like to extend a warm welcome to you. By "we" I mean my parents Heri & Ilona and me. The Remise is an outbuilding of Bedheim Castle. In the house there are 2 bedrooms (a guest room with 2 beds and a dormitory with 10 beds), 2 bathrooms (each with 2 toilets and a shower) and a large kitchen-living room with a fireplace. Parking is available on the castle grounds.

Our apartment is located in quiet forest surroundings but within walking distance to Sonneberg town centre. It is perfect for hikers and mountain bikers, with hundreds of kilometres of trails leading into the Thuringian Forest national park from our front door.
