We would like to welcome you to the historic seat in the village of Smědeč, whose oldest preserved written mention dates back to 1445 and which stands just a few meters from the medieval Linecka trail. Today, we are grateful for the many beautiful monuments in this region of the Bohemian Mountains. Our apartment is located in the beautiful village of Niederkappel, up in the heights of the Mühlviertel right behind the Danube Valley between Passau and Linz. Important information for bikers traveling on the Danube cycle path: From the Danube banks (Obermühl) it's a 3km steep, exhausting climb up to Niederkappel. If you are fit enough for that, you are very welcome to stay at our place. The views down onto the Danube will compensate for the efforts.
