A bungalow right on the water

The bungalow is nice and clean, though not luxury. The location and view is unique and unforgettable. You are right on the water, in the most beautiful lagoon of the island, facing the Lion mountain; an incredible place. Two kayaks available. Please note that it’s a tropical island and inoffensive insects sometimes will get inside even though the place has been cleaned throughout. Occasionally you will see a little gecko on the ceiling, sometimes a few ants, nothing alarming, this is Mauritius.

We spent a weekend at Vicash's eco lodge and really enjoyed the peace, privacy and space. Warmly recommended if you are looking for a remote, tranquil, spacious and green place to stay, which also a quick and easy access to beaches and a commercial centre.

Large house, brand new during our stay. Functional and good location. Emile is available and welcoming. Some points to note: The house is located in a subdivision under construction. We did not have any nuisance with the works during our stay but this will not necessarily be the case all the time in view of the ongoing or upcoming construction. Biggest downside, presence of dogs in the residence, regular barking including at night Car is essential. The subdivision is secure and guarded. It's reassuring because you feel a little isolated.

We spent several vacation days with 4 people in Alain's house and felt completely comfortable there. The photos on airbnb accurately reflect the decor and good condition of the apartment - which we found to be absolutely clean. Upon our arrival, water and juice were already available in the refrigerator, as well as fresh fruit, some spices, olive oil, coffee and honey in the kitchen for free. We were able to use the washing machine and also use existing detergent. In addition, Alain offered us the use of the grill including charcoal. We did not use the cleaning help offered. Separate towels were provided for beach visits. Alain was always available by phone or messenger and quickly on the spot if necessary. He is a very nice, attentive and helpful host – in short: exactly as you imagine a perfect host. Not intended as a criticism, but as a hint: the women missed a hairdryer.

The promise has been fully kept! The house is very clean, welcoming and you immediately feel at home. The environment is quiet, ideal for relaxation. The host was extremely responsive, reassuring and very cooperative, which made our stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend it!

An indoor swimming pool is framed by large glass windows, allowing natural light to illuminate the water. The pool features a wavy design and is surrounded by a tiled area. Plants can be seen in the background, adding a touch of greenery to the space.

The apartment is very nice and spacious, with top amenities – nothing is really missing! Air conditioning and fans work perfectly, which is very pleasant in this climate. A small minus point is the very narrow driveway into the yard, which requires some skill. As already known in advance, there is no direct access to the sea – but the water is there, which leads to an unpleasant smell from time to time. Despite these little things, we can recommend the apartment with a clear conscience!

This home was one of my favourite Airbnbs’ I ever stayed in. I traveled with my family and we were 5 of us and our stay was very comfortable. The house is beautiful and very well equipped and maintained. There is everything that 1 needs. The ocean is literally right there! Overall my stay was very good. 1 thing to consider, that when you’re giving your clothes for laundry, do not mix darks and whites, I did that thinking the help would separate them but that didn’t happen and our whites/ pastels were coloured. Otherwise, we had a wonderful stay. The helps Saroj and Viena kept the place pristine and clean. It was truly a home away from home
