Vacation rentals in Rano Kau

Muy grata la estadía en casa de Joaquín.. De buen carácter y trato, siempre con la mejor disposición para despejar dudas ; orientarte en los lugares y su ubicación; entregar información útil, y además muy estudioso y capacitado como guía turístico. Viajé con mi hijo pequeño y nos movíamos a pie desde la casa al pueblo y es relativamente cerca -15 minutos aprox. Caso aparte la seguridad y tranquilidad algo diametralmente distinto a quienes vivimos en Santiago. Caminar de noche sin mayores apreciones es toda una experiencia... Dato útil; llevar una linterna pequeña porque hay sectores algo oscuros o de luz tenue y algunos caminos son de tierra y por las lluvias puede ser práctico para no "comerse" algún bache o poza de agua en el trayecto... Nosotros estuvimos en temporada invierno pero la temperatura es muy templada, y la noche algo fresco pero solo para chaqueta liviana. Consejo útil; llevar alguna manta impermeable porque cabe la posibilidad de lluvia esporádica. Recomendado al 100.

Valentina is the best host we’ve ever had on Airbnb. She took care of us throughout our stay as if we were family. Thanks to her and her daughter, we had a truly wonderful time on Rapa Nui. The Airbnb is perfect for groups of travelers. It’s ideally located—just a two-minute walk from the beach and the best sunset spot, right in the heart of town near the main street. The house is spacious, clean, and full of life, with a beautiful outdoor area to relax in. Thank you, Valentina, for making this trip so special. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Mejor lugar imposible. Ale es una excelente anfitriona siempre muy preocupada por el bienestar de los huéspedes. Las instalaciones eran perfectas, comodidad al 100% que me permitió realmente estar como en casa. Sin duda la mejor excelente y relación precio calidad. Full recomendable :)

I was very happy with my stay at Hostal Pua Hau Mea. I was greeted by Julio at the airport and warmly welcomed by Sylvana at the property. The accommodation is as advertised and was kept in spotless condition. The location was good, easily walkable to restaurants and shops in the centre of town. I would recommend Pua Hau Mea for a no frills but comfortable stay.

Mareva was such a kind host. She greeted me at the airport and showed me around the property. The room was simple (no soap in bathroom) but perfect location in town and right across from the water. There is also a communal kitchen in case you want to cook. This is probably the most affordable accommodation on Easter Island! I would stay here again.

Anfitriona muy simpática y amable, nos sentimos muy cómodos hospedándonos en su hogar. Totalmente agradecidos de su amabilidad y la de su familia ¡Super recomendable! Y excelente ubicación.

Great place if you want really to feel like a local, living in your own house with garden and kitchen/terrace. The place in good location walking distance from sunset spot, great restaurants and port. But in same way feel quiet and private (as it’s 2 min from main road 🛣️) . Host are friendly came to pick me up from airAport , offered to eat together BBQ 🍖. The room is Spartan but it goes with island vibe:) i felt like at home surrounded by locals, dogs and cocks who were waking me up in the morning:)
