A great place. Just what we wanted. The cottage - is not very old. Yet it is built in local fashion with local materials but with all modern 'living amenities' as listed. In keeping with the mountain terrain it is built at 'levels. 'Full of knick knacks, a fire place & so on.... All this gives it a very cosy , yet rustic feel, very authentic & lovable. The cottage does not have a 'living room', but that is compensated by the large verandah overlooking the property. Grand views all day. the owners were present in their other house on the property. Very friendly yet not intrusive. One does not expect such help full caretakers in a airbnb. The caretaker cum househelp cum handyman Mr. Bobby Singh who is on hand 24/7 is a gem. he cleans, cooks, advises(if asked). Plus there is Mr. Anand Singh who takes care of the 'grounds' of the property, who helps in procuring groceries & stuff. Two people to help !!! Almost like a serviced resort . We stayed at Aranyak for 7 nights. We were with kids (3 yrs and 11 yrs) and parents aged 70+. Best Part for me: All age groups gave a thumbs up to this place. All will visit again Parents found it to be peaceful. Our kids were actually eating Plums and Kafal straight out of trees. My wife spent mornings and sunsets sipping tea/coffee and strolling across the orchards. I was birding for hours in the thicket next to the rooms and next to the stream which flows around 500meters from the rooms(its heaven for any bird photographer). The rooms are very good(for a farm/orchard)with a few ameneties which are hotel like and a few which are missing(but really, you are not going to this place for a 5 star room,but for the whole environment and experience). Rohit and team was responsive in sorting small niggles quickly. Harish and Karan served home like food and were extremely nimble. You are approx 15-20 mins away from Mukteshwar cafes, yet on a village road which has very little traffic.

we had a smooth check-in, and the caretaker has been extremely helpful and welcoming. The property is absolutely beautiful - the amenities are excellent, and the serene view is truly refreshing. It’s definitely one of the best places we’ve stayed, especially for those looking to be close to nature. We’ll surely recommend it to our family and friends.

Shashank came on video call to ensure that we reach the destination promptly, caretakers were willing workers, always ready to respond, house is as in photos, superb interior, meets all our needs in given space, cosy, very clean. Outside views from verandah are superb. Watched sunset. Perhaps the best Airbnb listing I have stayed so far.

Stunning Views, Impeccable Stay! An unforgettable stay at this beautiful hilltop property! The 300 km panoramic Himalayan view is absolutely breathtaking, and the sparkling night view of Almora is magical. The rooms are spotless, with fresh white linen, scented floors, and a real focus on hygiene. Huge thanks to Jitendra, the amazing caretaker, and SriRam, the cook, for their warm hospitality and delicious home-cooked meals. Peaceful, private, and perfectly maintained—this place truly makes you feel like a Czar. Highly recommended!

I had an absolutely amazing stay at this beautiful BnB in Almora! The location is nothing short of picturesque, surrounded by breathtaking views that made every moment feel like a postcard. The host was fantastic—very proactive and provided clear instructions to help us find the property with ease, which made our arrival seamless. The house itself was wonderfully organized, with all the amenities we needed and more. It was thoughtfully arranged to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible, with everything we could think of for a hassle-free experience. The food offered was simply incredible—delicious and made with so much care. One of the highlights of our trip was definitely the stargazing and bonfire experience. It was a magical way to end our evenings, surrounded by the tranquility of the mountains. I truly enjoyed every moment and will definitely stay here again when I visit Almora in the future.
